I've been a loyal Carmel Car Wash in Rockwall for a couple years. On 4/28/26 I was offered *two* free $45 full-service (i.e., exterior/interior) *machine-washes* if I reloaded my car wash credit card with $250. I declined, and said I'd do it on my next visit. On 5/4/26, I was offered *one* free $80 *hand-wash* wash if I reloaded the card with $350. I explained that the 4/28 offer was $100 better than the 5/4 offer, but the owner wouldn't honor the better 4/28 deal. As the saying goes, "The math ain't mathin'." We usually really love car washes, so we were looking forward to trying out caramel after a bad experience at a different place. Unfortunately it was just an overall weird and awkward experience from start to finish. First of all, the older man where you pay before getting the car wash was extremely rude and unclear. Starting the experience off terrible. The car wash itself was good, though. The only reason they're getting 3 stars instead of 1, though, is truly because of the people who hand towel dry your car. I have been to this location more than once and have always had a good experience. An older gentlemen use to work near the entrance of the car wash guiding you making sure your car stays on the track and not scraping your rims or time. He was awesome. One of the employees spoke to me about their membership which worked perfect for me since I wash my car more than twice a month. Fast Forward a few weeks later, the older gentlemen no longer works there and the service and attention to detail no longer exists. They no longer have someone to guide you into the car wash. The new employee just stands there and expects you to read his mind. I cancelled my membership the same day on site with the manager. I will never return. Great value in an automated carwash. The basic wash went up to $7, but that is still very competitive - and you can still use their vacuums for free. I have been going here for several years until now. Been fairly satisfied. Had to have them send my truck back through because they dont wipe the front good at all. They used to towel dry for the $12 wash but did not make any effort to inform customers that they no longer do that for this wash. They just have a someone that points to the self serve vacuums when you come out of the wash. When I stopped to ask, he said your done...and pointed to vacume, glad I didn't renew the gift card. CARMEL CAREWASH "TIRE DAMAGE!" If you deal with the situation of having your tires damaged at Carmel Carwash GOOD LUCK! Speaking with a manager or having any other manager provide you the contact info for the regional manager. I have a 2024 4 runner less than a week old I went though the car wash about half way through my tire light came on. Upon exiting I went to the vacuum area and parked I could see my rear tire with a piece of metal sticking out the sidewall. I could hear the air coming out of my tire. I went and contacted Brandon who works and is a regular person there. I showed Brandon the damaged tire. He responded thats impossible and denied from this point. I just asked for the managers card and Brandon provided it for me. Brandon did offer to use a larger air conpressor to air the tire up so I could make it home or somewhere I could get the spare put on. It's been a week and still no contact from the manager. Go somewhere else who will at least talk to a customer, keep a good employee base and maintain the daily operations in a professional manner. ​ read more

I don't know why this place has such bad reviews? For $34, they detailed my Yukon with oversized tires and did an awesome job. Tire shine looks great, and they vacuumed all the dog hair out as well. I definitely recommend this place for a quality car wash at a reasonable price! read more

I am forced to give one star . So there you go . The prices keep going up which I could handle . I always get works plus and have for the last 4 years, once a week . I have been getting crappy service for the last year or so . I keep asking to speak to the manager and I am told " they aren't here today. ". Or they won't be here until Monday ". BEWARE OF THIS PLACE! I showed up this past Saturday 1/4/2019 to get my car washed. After being navigated onto the mechanism that pulls my car through and following instructions and leaving my car in neutral throughout the entire duration of the wash my car was sparkling clean. I made it home (luckily not too far) and realized that an entire chunk of my tire was ripped clean off from going through this second wash. I have tried contacting the "Manager" Arnoldo Vasquez (3 times now) and have left multiple voicemails with no return call asking him if he will speak with me to 1) Ensure that this happens to nobody else's car and 2) See if he will be willing to help reimburse me for the new $80 tire that i had to have replaced 2 hours after my trip to this car wash. Luckily I made it safely to the tire shop without having a blow out endangering myself and others on the road. I would greatly at the very least appreciate a call back acknowledging that my call was received. My tire was 100% not like this prior to me going into this car wash. Sketchy. I have mud "stains" on my truck, ran through and it didn't clean it. So they said "they'll have the guy who runs the wash look to see IF he wants to help you." So I waited and he told me it would be "$175, or I could go get a prepaid $350 card and it would be "free." I asked how much the applicator was to get the stuff off and he said "$175." I went to oreillys and the same applicator they use only cost $25 bucks. Don't go near this SCAM. I've seen the negative reviews but my Ford F-150 always looks great after I leave. I DO pay for the Deluxe inside and out detail. They use air houses to clean the inside and blow excess water off the outside. The waiting area outside has comfortable chairs and the inside has cold bottled water and on the Saturday I was there, Krispy Kreme donuts! The staff is friendly as well. I had a weird situation here this morning. I was mid car wash and the woman in front of me put her car in reverse and started getting closer to my car. I began to worry about hitting her with my child in the car. I immediately laid on my horn to get someone to notice and as I did so, the woman then put her car in drive and took off through the rest of the car wash. By the time the employee reached me the woman was gone and he kept telling me to keep it in neutral or I can't finish my car wash and when I told him what happened he looked at me like I was crazy. I paid for the works plus 1/19/23 at 12:24. I got home at 12:40 and I got out of my car and it still was still dirty! I paid 20 dollars for a car wash and to have it towel dried. There are still bug guts on my grill. There is still dirt spots on my car. I had to get a cloth to go over the complete back of my car. This is absolutely ridiculous! If I wanted to wash my car myself then I would have but I didn't want to so I paid y'all to do it. However I end up doing what I paid for y'all to do!!!!! This was after running it through twice and an attendant vacuuming the car twice. They made up every excuse why it could not be done correctly. Then they tried to sell me a $75 wax job stating that would fix the problem. That is laughable. The incompetence here is very obvious. I wouldn't take a barbie jeep here to be cleaned. I got my car washed here and it's safe to say that this is the WORST car wash ive ever been to in my life. Every car wash in rockwall is HORRIBLE but this is one if the WORST. I paid to get a full service wash where they clean the inside and outside of the car and when my car goes through the wash it literally knocks my mirror off because their machines are so aggressive and when i told them that their wash took my mirror off they really tried to sit up there and tell me that it was like that before i came in. THE SAME GUY that i paid before i went into the car wash told me that it was already like that and they're not liable for the damage THEY did to my car. We have been going here for awhile and always renew our card for extra washes but honestly wish I hadn't don't that yesterday. When we got to the drying area there were still bugs on my dash. We asked the attendant to get them off and instead of using spray he used soap and water. When I got home I realized the windshield still had soap on it.
