I would say the groom was about 80%. Her armpits were still incredibly long which sucks for matting, she trimmed my cats whiskers and there were other areas that were uneven but the overall job was done. I decided to try it a second time. They scheduled an appointment, and then two days before, they had to change the time the groomer couldn't be there so early. I said I couldn't change the time and then they said, I could keep the original time, but I was not willing to bring my cat in early to have her sit for 40 minutes waiting for the groomer, so I declined that appointment. I thought I'd try one more time. I called on Monday and asked to make an appointment for my cat to be groomed (you can schedule dog grooming online) They said they'd call me back. I waited over 48 hours and called again. When I called, the woman apologized for not calling me back, said she'd been really busy, then looked up my cat's file and insisted my cat had never been groomed there. I definitely had a groom done there and paid almost $200 for it. She had no idea how long to schedule my cat and didn't talk about pricing I just don't think grooming cats is their priority, even when they email me they email me about my dogs appointment. If I'm going to pay $200 for a service, I expect them to call me back promptly, keep accurate records, and not change appointments last minute. In good faith, I can't spend my money here anymore. I know there's a groomer out there who will appreciate my business.

Long belated review…read more We used to have a Pekingese named Bobo that was super grouchy with groomers. Honestly, I think the groomers we used before Under One Woof may have been too rough when grooming him so I am so glad Under One Woof is here. I believe Seiji was the first to be able to groom him and I remember he kissed our dog the moment they met. Then, Naomi took over his grooming. She did phenomenal with him and he loved her so much. After our dearest Bobo passed, we waited years before getting another dog. Now, we have our baby Remy. I requested for Naomi because she is the only one we trust and because we know she does such a wonderful job. Now, Naomi takes care of Remy. My mom does have specific requests for shorter cut and Naomi understands and executes the request so well. I asked for pictures and they sent it to me. So cute. I'd definitely like to try more poodle like cuts when it gets colder! I usually do drop off at 8:30 and I pick him up some time from 12pm - 1pm.

The staff can be rude, indifferent, and sometimes unaccountable. Phone calls rarely get answered in real time. I've never had this experience with another clinic - if they can't answer, most will at least acknowledge you and put you hold. One time I even had to come in person because no one answered the phone, despite being on hold the whole time. When I walked in, there were no other patients in the lobby, so it's unclear why calls aren't answered. Again, there is a pattern of not answering the phone. I also have always found it odd and somewhat off putting that the front counter displays a sign suggesting the "most valuable gift" is promoting referrals to others. Very business forward... The last straw for us was having to wait two weeks for a tech appointment (for an injection) when our dog was itching a lot. They had no other options to help her feel comfortable in the meantime and didn't seem to care, so we ended up going to another vet who could see her the same week. We appreciate the care they gave our dog over the years, and we've always had a positive experience with Dr. Rabbi. Unfortunately, due to the drop in service and attentiveness, we will not be returning.

It's literally 2 employees/volunteers and a "cat experience" center. There were supposedly 10 cats in the whole facility but only 2 were visible while the rest were either napping or scared and cowering away. With the 2 that were visible, one was cowering and hissing in the corner of her cage and the other was laying on top of their cage, only allowing to be touched by an extendable cat scratcher. It was an open space configuration and it was made for the cats to have freedom to roam around. But I didn't mind that, I actually enjoyed the "immersive cat motel" style...if it'd had worked. What I did mind was the way this facility was run. There was a secretary, and a volunteer who couldn't care less about the people coming in to see the cats. With the cat that I did use the scratcher on, I made the mistake of moving my hand closer to try and let it smell my scent, but it SWIPED and SCRATCHED me right away in a hissy fit. The volunteer was then so nonchalant while blood was profusely running down my hand, giving me an "I told you so" attitude. All she said was that the cat didn't like to be petted, but failed to disclose the fact that the cat would swipe at you even if your hand was at any close proximity within a foot of it. She said those cats have been there for several months to nearly half a year. I'm thinking in my mind: "Wow, you've had them here for so long and you just let them run amok and do and act however they want, exactly the same way since the day they've arrived, rather than spending time to rehabilitate them so that they can tolerate/enjoy human interaction and actually be adoptable cats?" I actually did ask her "how do you expect to adopt them out if they can't even tolerate human touch"? All she replied with was "Well, ideally they'd warm up to you, but if not, then you'll just have to adopt them and never touch/hold them". The worst part was that there were no warning signs posted anywhere and also that they allowed a cat that swipes at people to literally roam freely outside its cage. What if there were children around? This was literally the most insane "animal shelter" I've ever been to and after my first visit, I definitely will NOT be coming back until they figure out how to run an animal shelter because these people have absolutely no freaking clue what they're doing. This is at most, an animal "sanctuary" and have no plans to help their animals adapt to human interaction and become adoptable pets. I would stay away. PS: The attached photo was updated 3/5/26 and was about 2 weeks after visiting. Permanent scars from the cat swipes.

I was disappointed to find out that your facility is frequently understaffed, that your employees don't receive proper animal handling training, and that you house a DOG AND PEOPLE aggressive shepherd in the same facility as your clients beloved pets. A dog that has a history of attacks and that recently mauled an employee's arm (reported to animal control if anyone would like to fact check), a situation in which the owner has yet to take accountability for. If you are a person that cares how your dog is treated behind closed doors, or better yet a person who believes in workers rights and protections, I would steer clear of this boarding service. The few negative reviews are evidence of the chaos slipping through the facade. Do not ignore them.
