I know that they are trying to get you to the point of being not reliant on anything to help you swim. But the owner pulled her out of a group at the end of a session. And while all the other children were playing, forced her to try to blink water out of her eyes. To the point where she was crying. She does not cry. I would think with years of experience that the owner would've handled our situation better. And when I brought it up, I was told she left "empowered". She was not. The next several sessions when I brought her back, she would not jump in the pool anymore, and she would not go underwater. She would cry. And did not want to go to any more lessons. At our pool, she was swimming without any type of swimmies and utilizing some of the skills she learned.... jumping and going underwater, getting to the edge and getting out of the pool. We allowed her to swim to the edge and get out of the pool and wipe her eyes. Not every child is the same, and you cannot bully someone into doing what you think they should. Sometimes it takes more patience. And we were getting there until she was singled out and made to cry. Also, the first location in Greenfield was very good. The main instructor was awesome. She also had her utilizing the blink method with some success. But at the new location in New Palestine, the new instructors were not as good. And unfortunately, the owner made things worse.

You sign up online and then they auto-bill your credit card monthly despite not allowing you to cancel in the app and sending you emails that you cannot reply too. This was a hard lesson learned. I told our swim instructor we would be attending 4 classes with our 3 kids and then we would be done. We had an unforeseen event in the family which necessitated us being out of state for a few weeks. I got a verbal response from the instructor (again very nice) and assumed it was done. This was my mistake. We were out of town and when I checked my personal email after 6 weeks (also my mistake) we had been billed for 2 sessions. After I emailed the "email for new class scheduling" I got a response saying I had to submit cancellation to the office in writing. Currently they are "looking into the matter" but I am not optimistic I will be reimbursed or they will make it right. If they do I will update the review. In conclusion I would never ever have worked with this company. The instructors are nice but their business practices less so. This review is for Indianapolis area of Indiana - through Hamilton Co.

The indoor soccer facilities are fine…read more One main reason it's not five stars: Not enough parking. They pack the games back to back to back. There's enough parking for one set of parents/players. But if a game ends at 11am and another game starts at 11:10am, the later game's players, coaches, and parents will arrive at 10:55am or so while the earlier game's vehicles are still in the lot. No parking spaces and people end up parking on the grass, in the lot next door, etc. And guess what happens at 11:15am? Earlier game's vehicles leave and spots open up. I don't have a solution for this other than a bigger lot.

You are not allowed past thigh deep in the water unless you pay an extra $10 an hour to do the obstacle course. Also, parking is not clearly marked. They do allow outside food and coolers, if you want to pack a lunch, and offer coolers with drinks for sale at an inflated price. If you do decide to go, make sure to fill out the waver online ahead of time.

I asked if there was a place where they do sell drinks and snacks and I was told they do over by the Porta Potty but I really didn't see anywhere that these items were being sold Maybe there was someone back in the kayak shed they had those things available but I would just recommend you bring your own. They only have porta potty available which I personally not a fan of. The Sandy Beach area where I was laying had so many bees and wasps. I happen to have some bug spray in my bag so sprayed myself and the area where I was laying at and my towels in an effort to keep them away. Worked for short amount of time. The sand is very hard and uncomfortable. Bring chairs. It's $7 per person to get in if you're not a fisher's resident if your Fisher's resident it's free and probably more affordable if you have the group of kids because it is $10 extra for an hour of the kayak use and $10 extra to go beyond the roped area probably because they have this inflated play area that's tethered outside that roped area. They have a lifeguard on duty. Fill out the waiver before you go. If you have the money and bring your own food and drinks it could be a nice little outing for the family. If your not a resident of fishers though I'm sure there are more enjoyable options for $7, $10 or $27 per person. Also be prepared to bring cartloads to be able to enjoy or be comfortable.

I've discovered something after 10+ years living in Indiana. And that is: A lot of people in…read moreIndiana love basketball. It's true, it's true. So it would make sense that a facility dedicated to the state's favorite sport would be awesome. Pacers Athletic Center is a huge basketball facility with eight courts. This is where basketball camps, practices and tournaments are held, and it's located inside the Grand Park campus in Westfield. Apparently, volleyball is also played at this facility, too. I thought that maybe this is where the Pacers practice, but no -- it's just named after the team. I was visiting Pacers Athletic Center to cover a basketball camp that was led by Tyrese Haliburton. In case you're disconnected from basketball like I am: Tyrese Haliburton plays for the Pacers, and he is a big deal! He's a good basketball player. He's also a pretty good person, because he puts on kids' basketball camps here in Indy and in his home state of Wisconsin. This facility was a good venue for this camp, because it had more than enough room to hold the more than 300 kids and their parents, basketball players, staff and other people involved in the event. There's an upstairs overlook (the Pacers Fan Zone) with lots of tables and chairs, and it's a nice, out-of-the-way place to get a 360-degree look at all of the courts. There's also a snack bar, vending machines and lots of space to walk around. The parking lot is big, but depending on the event and the time, parking can be a little iffy.

Kids are constantly being hurt and refs are not making the calls because they are underpaid and overworked, so they want to get home. Or the refs say "they are only in 1st grade...etc" how will children ever learn if you allow them to continuously foul, travel, double dribble etc? Or you just have refs that referee like this is street ball. They have some amazing coaches. But be very careful when you are paying your thousands of dollars for your child or children to play. They advertise all coaches have played or coached at the high school, college or pro level. But that in fact is false. You can end up with a coach who has no experience listed anywhere online, no high-school stats, but went to college and got a degree in sports media. A coach whose teams are beat by 60+ points and no in game adjustments are ever made. And I know everyone has to start somewhere but I'd recommend a coach with no experience start off in a bite size league for 3 & 4 year olds. Coach Mike and Coach Ajay though 10/10. Pros. You can look them up and see all of their achievements. Absolutely amazing coaches and know what they are doing.
