I was in the area and I've seen this posted online, so I definitely wanted to come in and try it. The space is very modern looking and aesthetically pleasing. It's actually quite a big space that wraps around to the back from what I could see. It was hard to read the menus on the wall, so they let me know that they had ones by the counter. I was not a fan of the spring flavors they had, so I opted for the fuzz. The workers were kind of talking amongst themselves while I picked out what I wanted. Unfortunately, the drink was pretty underwhelming, and I barely tasted any espresso. Also, for a small, it was almost $10. I tend to prefer a homemade syrup as opposed to Monin. Not for me.

LOVE this place! everything is amazing and they are so understanding about allergies!! they have fun seasonal drinks and a creative menu! definitely a place to bring the family, hang out with friends, or go quietly study and read at!! 1000000/10

Leashed and friendly dogs are welcome inside as well as at the outdoor tables, making it an easy stop for you and your pup. Their craft drinks are thoughtfully made, with a mix of everyday favorites and creative seasonal specials, plus light bites to round out your visit. We loved spotting a couple of other dogs soaking up the outing with their families, always a good sign you have found a gem. They also have a location in Manalapan, so you have got options when the craving hits.

They had a special matcha for a limited time called the Applejacks matcha, so I ordered that. I had them take off the white chocolate and do oat milk because I'm vegan. I absolutely loved it. It was so delicious and flavorful, and it was the best flavored matcha I had had in a long time. I do love regular, traditional matcha with no flavoring, so I'm not talking about that. I'm just talking about a flavored matcha that was so good. After a couple of weeks, I went to the Manalapan location and had the same matcha. While it was not as good as the Brick one, I didn't really hold that against them. Then a couple of weeks later, I went back to the Brick location and they told me they didn't have matcha because they ran out. They said their customers who really love matcha were not happy about it either, and that they didn't know when they were going to get it back in. That's why I took away one star. They are a business and should make an effort to always have matcha available. Matcha not being available one day is one thing, but not having it and not knowing when it's coming back is another thing. I just don't think that's acceptable. Besides that, this place is really good. Their drinks seem really creative. I've mostly only had the matcha because I love matcha. It also seems like a really nice place to sit and study, and it always seems clean. The day they didn't have the matcha, I got a chai tea instead and it wasn't that great, so I know not to get the chai again. Overall, I do like California Cold Co. a lot and I hope the whole matcha thing doesn't happen again. It seems like a really good, solid place.

I ordered the Mom Burger, which is a Swiss burger topped with mushrooms on a brioche bun. It also came with a good portion of fries and a side of pickles. The burger itself was pretty solid -- good flavor and a satisfying size. At $16, the portion felt fair considering the amount of fries you get with it. One thing I noticed was an additional charge for sauces. I asked about it, and they explained that all their sauces are made in-house, which is why they charge $1 per sauce. Honestly, that makes sense when they're homemade. Now the star of the show for me was actually the drink. After looking over the menu a bit more, I decided to try the LA Metro coffee drink with almond milk. I'm not a big coffee drinker, but for $5.99, I have to say it was really good. Definitely something I'd order again. I also want to mention the customer service. The girl working at the counter was extremely nice -- probably some of the best customer service I've had in a while. She didn't rush anything, answered my questions, and was very professional and friendly. I asked about the specials, the cakes they offer, and even whether they were doing a St. Patrick's Day platter, which they are. Overall, it was a really good experience. Good food, great drink, and excellent customer service. I'd definitely recommend stopping by Taylor Sam's if you're in the area.
