Met up with a friend at this coffee shop. It was a rainy day, so it was nice to take shelter here. The ambiance was fun - lots of decor for the Valentine's Day holiday. The lattes were very extravagant. My friend opted for a marshmallow latte, and I opted for a horchata latte. I was a little jealous of her toasty marshmallow at the top, but thankfully the servers gave me a toasty marshmallow too at my request :) There is ample seating on the inside. At the time, I was gluten intolerant and there really weren't any food options for me to choose from. I was quite disappointed at that and went home super hungry. The drinks were fun, but a little to sweet for my liking and the coffee in it wasn't super great. If I come here again, I'd ask for a little less sweetener added to my latte. I hope there are more gluten free options in the future and that the lattes aren't too overly sweet in the future too. read more

We really wanted to love this place. The coffee is solid, and you can tell the new owners are making an effort. The pastries looked good -- hopefully homemade, though it wasn't clear. That said, this review is specifically about the front-of-house experience. The cashier was... less than welcoming. No greeting, no smile, just a vibe like she'd rather be anywhere else. Tip for the owners: First impressions matter. A little warmth at the register would go a long way in creating the kind of neighborhood spot people want to come back to. read more

This little family owned cafe offers not only a variety of coffees, but delicious pastries as well. It's a cozy shop with both indoor and outdoor seating areas. Their wide coffee selection has flavors such as almond joy latte, churro latte and chai just to name a few. All of which were amazing, especially with a ton of extra whipped cream on top. They had such a wide selection of freshly baked pastries that were pretty big in size. We tried the apple turnover, raspberry crumb cake and chocolate croissant. Awesome speciality coffee! The iced latte was great. Tried the grab-and-go BEC and SEC as well. I would avoid their premade breakfast sandwiches - although they are massive the bread on each one was stale and hard to eat. The hot coffee isn't the best but it could just be the blend - it tasted burnt. Hoping this is a one-off and will try this place again in the future! I stopped by here earlier today with my wife and twins for our morning coffee. While on vacation, we try to hit up local coffee shops in the mornings and on this day we headed to GNM coffee. This coffee shop is located right on NJ9 and has a pleasant outdoor seating area complete with lots of flowers and umbrellas for some shade. The inside consists of two rooms. The first has a display area for pastries as well as a cooler for drinks and then the coffee bar of course. Then the second room has a number of drip coffees as well as seating for those who are eating in. For our coffees on this morning I went with a coconut latte while my wife went with an iced mocha. We also went with a bacon breakfast sandwich and a chocolate croissant. The breakfast sandwich was definitely the star here as it was massive and also contained quite a bit of bacon. It had melted cheese and egg on it too which was tasty. Then my coffee here was decent as it had the coconut flavoring which was at the front and it was a little bit sweeter than I would have liked. The good news was that you could taste the coffee on the finish which provided a nice richness to cut the sweet. My wife also enjoyed her iced mocha. The bottom line for me is that I would stop back here again in the future. Our breakfast sandwich was delicious and the rest of their food looked good as well, I would just get a plain latte. read more

We stopped in recently under the newer ownership. The interior has a cute and cozy vibe. The large TV monitors make ordering easy. We order a large americano and large latte. The large size was more like medium to me, as far as portion size. Service was fast and friendly. As far as taste, we rate our drinks as good, but not excellent. We will be back again to sample more items. The desert selection looked amazing, too. Coffee was just ok, that's why I did give max rating. read more

This really is a special place. When the weather is good, make sure you sit outside or just stroll around. Shaded, quiet, peaceful. Unique chairs, tables, and benches outside. Decent seating inside. Cappuccino was a bit on the strong side, but many people like it that way. I just thought I'd give you a head's up. I haven't tried the food so I can't speak to that. I'll try that out next time I go... because I WILL be going back! read more

I will never go back to this establishment ever again! The service by a middle aged male staff member was mind boggling on Saturday October 26th. I stopped in to the shop to pick up fresh ground coffee. I waited in line for my turn to purchase 4 bags of coffee. Upon my turn, after patiently waiting for some time, I asked for the coffee beans to be ground and was told that I would have to wait for him to serve all others behind me then he would ground the coffee if he could find the time in case others entered the store. I told him that this doesn't make sense and the the total cost of my purchase would be in excess of $80 which is more than what the customers behind me would be spending. He stated that he didn't care and I would need to wait if I wanted the coffee. I promptly left in total disbelief. With customer service such as this on full display for a small remote location as this shop is, this doesn't bode well for the longevity of this shop. I would highly recommend finding another independent coffee shop. Such a shame! read more

The coffee was good, but the food was an absolute disappointment. My husband and I ordered an avocado toast each, my breakfast was nothing more than a warmed up (not even toasted) piece of bread, some type of avocado spread, and some cherry tomatoes on top. Between two drinks two avocado toasts and a pastry our total was close to $50 +++plus tip! I didn't even finish my food it was so abysmal. Wouldn't recommend. read more

Yesterday my daughter and her friends went in to GNM for smoothies after exams. One friend is severely allergic to dairy was very clear about this allergy and then served a protein shake containing whey (which is a dairy derivative). My 17 yr old daughter had to give her friend (who was severely vomiting and having a life threatening reaction) an epi pen shot! The person who made the mistake could not have cared less and was less than helpful. The employees did not care at all for the safety or health of her friend. They were just defensive and rude. If you have any allergy I'd avoid this place as their employees are poorly trained and don't care about their customers. read more

The owner does not take allergies seriously. A recent visit by my daughter ended up in a visit to the hospital because they failed to confirm that the powder used in a drink had whey (milk). When my wife called, the owner responded with "everybody makes mistakes". Seriously? Then threatened my wife to talk to his lawyer. When she got agreed to the idea, he hung up on her. I've been there several times and always had a good experience! I usually get an iced latte and some kind of pastry which is always great! Their cake pops are way better than Starbucks and better than any that I've had from local bakeries so far. I tried their hot coffee for the first time last time I was in and got the GNM blend which has a coconut and macadamia nut flavor that transports you to a tropical island.
