The food was typical for the style of restaurant. My wife had bacon, eggs and a side of fruit, which she didn't really eat because she doesn't like melon. It was mostly all cantaloupe and honeydew. I had the special, a pumpkin waffle. It was OK. I didn't over do it with the syrup, and there was just a small amount of Marscapone topping on it with whipped cream. the coffee was just OK. They didn't seem to have half-and-half. Service and atmosphere were fine and they had outdoor seating if you like that. I will probably try one of their large French toast orders next time instead. I don't have a good picture of my waffle. For some reason, the picture did not come out clear. I would definitely head over there and give it a try, it's pretty good. read more

I'm finally back to write a review and Yelp is acting up. The service is wonderful and friendly.We had a little wait that gave us time to shop at HomeGoods and a homemade laundry detergent store.The variety of French toast is amazing.... you can also get the same toppings on pancake's .I highly recommend any of the coffee drinks.My daughter and I shared the loaded potato's with cheesy yumminess! They came cold at first,for some reason I think the kitchen is far from the dinning area. They have a little coffee bar area that's adorable if you're just catching up with a friend for a quick drink (non alcohol) I would definitely recommend this place. I loved meemoms, but I can't believe what I just saw. I was sitting at the bar, and a waitress returned with a coffee because the glass coffee cup had bright red lipstick on it and was dirty. She asked the manager? (a woman with straight blonde hair that was telling people what to do) what she should do. The manager took the cup from her, poured that same coffee into a new mug and delivered that dirty germy coffee to another customer. Hungry for breafast-y foods, and on a day where my usual go-to spots were entirely too busy I decided to check out Meemom's, since it's fairly close to home and I'd heard good things. Walking in, the place is kept very clean, and the service was incredibly quick and friendly. There's a few TV's in the restaurant, and I know this is "Bricktucky", but can we PLEASE stop putting Fox News on? I don't really need to hear / see some overly angry shock-jock ranting about whatever this week's 'hot topic' is while I'm trying to enjoy a meal out. For food, I ordered one of the 'breakfast bowls', the "Matador", which came with fried potatoes, eggs, chorizo, avocado, and a chipotle sauce. Prices were a bit on the steep side for breakfast, with this in particular costing $15-16. When it came out to the table, I ended up with an absolutely massive bowl that was filled MAYBE halfway, and consisted of mostly potato, a thin layer of egg, half an avocado, and the most disappointing part - I think I counted MAYBE 5 nickel-sized pieces of chorizo in the entire meal. The food tasted OK for what it was, though for the money paid I'd expect a little more egg and at LEAST 1 sausage's worth of chorizo, instead of the incredibly paltry amount I got. You're competing against a plethora of local diners that will serve massive plates of food that often result in leftovers - I don't mind paying more for better quality, but don't be stingy with the eggs and meat, especially when charging said higher prices. On a positive note, the coffee was really good, and tasted like a freshly roasted 'craft' brew - so that's a plus. All in all, while the food was tasty, the prices are fairly steep for what you get IMO. Double (at least) the amount of meat in your bowls, maybe chuck 1 extra egg in it, and this would be 4 stars, easily. The flavors and service are great, but the prices, less than ideal ambiance, and stinginess really set this back. Not really in a rush to return, with so many options in the area. read more

Too overhyped and overpriced. I have been seeing this place around social media. The outside looks very pretty and modern. Its my first time coming here. We ordered a takeout on a monday afternoon. We ordered El Matador, Hangover bowl, and Campfire. Since they were known for their french toast we decided to try at least one of them. The campfire is a s'mores french toast. The bread was so thick I thought when it meant stuffed with nutella and marshmallow spread that it was actually inside that thick bread and not on the outside. We didnt like the breakfast bowls either. The breakfast potatoes were so tiny when all the other ingredients like the egg, chorizo, and jalapenos were big portions on the el matador. The hangover bowl was just soggy potatoes and a whole drenched of gravy. Each item was $15 it was not worth every penny. read more

I am, was an occasional customer at this restaurant for the last couple of years and was usually happy with coming here. Today I visited here and changed my opinion completely. The waffles were barely toom temperature and the fruit cup looked like it was sitting somewhere for hours and when I told the waitress I felt like I did something wrong, not the restaurant! Both of my experiences at Meemom's took place during the COVID-19 lockdown. I ordered on the phone for pick up with a person and was always greeted in a very friendly and happy manner it was easy to order and I was told approximate times which are always accurate. The price point here is very fair and the creative food is just enough for a quick bite or brunch. We have enjoyed the Dark and stormy one of their original French toast as well as the chorizo me crazy egg dish. I live about 15 minutes from this location so I don't get here very often but I often crave it and look forward to trying one of their other creative menu options soon! I would say the portions are slightly on the smaller side which is why I am giving a four star review however their service and employees deserve five stars! read more

So let me start by saying I had been to their location in Wall and remember having a very pleasant experience when I went there a few years ago. This is NOT the same place! Normally I don't comment on layout and decor of a restaurant because I feel it really doesn't matter but the layout of this restaurant makes you feel like your walking into a salon instead of a restaurant. The reason I am ok with giving them one star is because the hostess and waitress were very nice and professional. That unfortunately is where the present experience ends. First the breakfast side of the menu is basically 2/3 devoted to French toast, so I would expect your French toast to be pretty darn good! So when the waitress told us that there was a special not on any menu it sounded interesting! It was a "flight" of four different French toast. Ok well if this is what to you guys are known for them this must be pretty amazing, we will take two! As we were waiting for our breakfast an employee (not a wait staff member or hostess) decided on a 43 degree rainy day to open the door that was next to us and try to prop it open with a chair, without any regard for us sitting in the new wind tunnel she had created. So I asked "your not planning on keeping that open are you?" I was given an eye roll and a "but it's so hot in here". Ok wow so even though 80% of your staff is walking around in sweatshirts because you as an individual thought it was a good idea to freeze out your customers? And it's possible this was the floor manager! Now that whole interaction would have merited a bad review but then the food came! So this "flight" of French toast that they are sooooo known for comes and it's literally two slices of bread worth of French toast, all the same with varying toppings on two 1/4 slices of toast. Ok well it's a "flight" right so it's not meant to be full portions I get that but they were literally the same slices of French toast which if im being honest wasn't that great! Some of the toppings made them ok but over all I was very disappointed in the French toast that this place puts soooo much stock in! Well it's time to leave I get the check and to my complete astonishment, I could not believe what they charged us for this dish. Remember how I said the waitress told us it's a special not on any menu? Yeah that's cause if anyone saw the price they would never get it! $18.00 for maybe $6 worth of ingredients. And let me remind you it sucked! Definitely would not recommend this place or the food! WAY OVER PRICED!!!! And sub par food! This place is such a gem! There are no brunch spots in this area and it's the perfect location for Meemoms to be. The decor is very Modern and it's such a comfortable little restaurant. I loved sitting at the booths. The wait took a little while but that's expected especially for a Sunday morning. We waited 50 minities but it was good because we got to walk around the neighboring stores to stall time and they texted us when our table was read. Very convenient. Our server was very nice and informative. The food is amazing. I love grilled cheese and their grilled cheese selection was so appealing! I ordered the ABC grilled cheese and it was delicious. It was a grilled cheese on sourdough bread with an Avacado spread and thick cut pieces of bacon. The bread was nice and toasty and it was mouth watery good! I ordered the pasta salad as a side and it was the perfect portion. We also ordered french cakes which were nice, fluffy and crunchy!! They were delicious. My husband ordered the knight panini with the side of spuds! The panini was delicious with marinated chicken, turkey bacon, mushrooms and peppers. The spuds were seasoned to perfection and boy were they amazing! The best part of our brunch was my coffee!! I ordered a Samoa iced coffee with almond milk. It was so delicious. It was drizzled with chocolate and Carmel sauce, topped with whipped cream and coconut!! YUUUM! I loved this brunch spot and will definitely be back to try everything on the menu!! Sunday brunch at it's finest. With so many things in the menu, it was I incredibly hard to make a choice, so I'll definitely have to come back to try some more things. What I had today though was more than enough to leave a lasting impression. I started with a drink from the coffee bar. I had the Hey Blondie, and my wife had the Somoa. The Hey Blondie was a great drink. I like my coffee light and sweet and this drink is perfect in that category. You have the option to get your drinks hot, iced, and/or with almond milk. I tasted the Samoa and if you like the Girl Scout cookies this may just be the drink for you. The French cakes was the choice of French toast we went with. They were fried perfectly. Nice coatIng outside and fluffy and delicious inside. I ordered a panini (The Knight) which was delicious because the mushrooms did not overpower the taste of the sandwich and the peppers gave great flavor. The side I ordered were the "spuds" which were fried potatoes that had a lemon pepper paprika seasoning on them. Getting these as a side by themself would be enough to hold me down for a while to be honest! My wife ordered the ABC grilled cheese which she loved. She said the avocado spread added a wonderful taste to the sandwich. We'll be back to try some other things on the menu for sure! read more
