The large outdoor pool is clean and well maintained. It has a large open swim shallow end, seven lap lanes, and a diving pool with a low and high-level springboard. There is ample seating around the perimeter of the pool with two fairly large canopied areas and numerous umbrellas. There are also two tetherball ball pits, a cornhole game and a ping-pong table. The main building has a small snack bar and utilitarian but clean changing rooms with bathrooms and showers available. This location is home to youth swim and dive teams and also has frequent social activities for members according the the numerous flyers posted. Members can also sign-up for swim lessons at an additional charge. As a non-member, I have no idea what membership or lesson fees are, so I can't speak to the value, but the facility itself seems rather nice.

This was my first trip back to AC since 2019 and this pool has seen better days. Our 3 days visiting were a mixed bag. The best server at the pool is Brenna, a sweetheart who sincerely loves her job. Otherwise it's loads of young kids (and even one older bartender on Tuesday that was rude and genuinely could give 0 you know what's) "working" (on their phones, huddled in the towel cabana). The best deal is the bucket of beers or hard seltzer, and the pita and vegetarian dip appetizer (our favorite). The ground on Monday morning was sticky and dirty and the water needed to be skimmed. However the strict no children after 2 pm rule was a god send (can we stop bringing children to AC?) and security is on it. This place is torn between no one caring about it and security upholding rules.

But no -- the a/c is once again non-functioning and I am told that they are working on a new system. But the front desk is unable to provide a time frame. What?? I can't be the only one complaining. This is a premium-priced gym. While I'm forced to complain here, pls also take note that the bathrooms could be better cared for -- I cut my hand twice on a toilet paper holder that was wobbly for months. The two baths in the treadmill area need to be cleaned throughout the day, or at least more frequently. And some of the equipment goes unfixed for way too long. I am reconsidering my membership.

I was also told that my monthly dues would resume in July. Instead, I have received multiple emails claiming my account is past due and adding late fees. For over a month, I have repeatedly called and have been told to speak with Shanon. I have left at least five emails and five voicemail messages, yet I have never received a response. When I log into the member portal, I see a balance due with no explanation. I have requested callbacks through the portal and still have not received any response. To make matters worse, every time I go to the pool, I am stopped and told my account has been flagged and that I need to contact the front desk. It is embarrassing and has made both my daughter and me feel unwelcome. We simply wanted to make sure our account was paid correctly and avoid late fees, yet we have been treated as though we are the problem. I eventually had to cancel the debit card I had on file after it was charged for dues that I had already paid in advance. Based on my experience, I strongly recommend not keeping a debit card on file. This entire situation has felt incredibly frustrating and, at times, like a scam. The accounting department has failed to resolve a straightforward issue, and management has been completely unresponsive. I do want to say that I love the pool. The staff there has always been friendly, welcoming, and professional, and the facility is clean. My daughter loves spending time there, and we plan to continue using the pool each summer--but only without a payment card on file because I no longer trust the billing process. Unfortunately, I will not continue my gym membership because I have lost confidence in the accounting department's ability to bill members accurately or resolve problems when they occur. My hope is that someone in leadership reads this, contacts me, explains why this has been handled so poorly, removes the incorrect charges and account flag, and finally resolves my account.
