Stopped in for coffee on a Wednesday morning to check email. The coffee was good. It was not busy. I had the cinnamon cake, but it was too sweet for me, and on the dry side. I was thinking it was going to be more like a cinnamon roll. I appreciate the cake was served on a plate with a fork. The space has been converted from a post office. There are plenty of places to sit and chat. There are tables for working. And, the open upstairs has long tables for getting work done, and working in groups. read more

Just coffee today, but I think they've come a long way from our previous experiences a year ago. Really good coffee. I got the Iced Thin Mint Latte. Excellent not too sweet at all. Jo got the iced toffee tastic. Nice a sweet just the way you'd expect it with a name like that. Staff is always very nice. I've never had my name mispronounced once. Immensely expansive seating for a coffee shop. You could bring a group of 10 and be able to wander without over crowding the place. Music is a whole vibe. Stopped here on my way through town today for a coffee and nice workspace. Carnegie Coffee certainly delivered! Staff was so so friendly- y'all have an excellent crew here! My fiancé and I went to Carnegie Coffee Company to get some wedding planning done. This ended up being a difficult task because their wifi router does not permit much internet access. Although we were able to send emails, we were not able to visit any websites due to the router's security, so we were pretty disappointed! However, we enjoyed the coffee shop overall! It is large and cozy with several different seating options. The baristas were so kind and accommodating as well! We enjoyed a slice of their cinnamon roll cake, and it was just as good as it sounds! Because drinks were included when attending the shower I got both an iced shaken espresso and an oat milk cappuccino. They were amazingly delicious! They also handled some of the food and I've got to tell you their brownies were a whole lot of decadent, chocolatey goodness! This Illy Philly has a morning meeting with her team and I thought why not go to a beautiful Cafe, in a quaint town, with great music, great food, and a great atmosphere and enjoy my meeting? I ordered the vegan breakfast sandwich on a biscuit and an herbal mint tea with honey. The sandwich was sooo good, like comfort food with an elegant twist and the tea, delicous. The service here is always wonderful, and I'm always greeted with a smile. There is plenty of paid parking outside and it's not expensive. I paid a dollar for two hours, it's quiet, and there are cute stores, bars, restaurants, and bakeries if you want to explore. My wife and I tried The Carnegie Coffee Company for the first time this morning for breakfast on the recommendation of a friend. It's housed in an old post office that's been repurposed into a restaurant . The setting is unique retro and relaxing. You walk up to order and then pick up your food when your beeper goes off like Panera . All types of Lavazza coffee are available from regular to lattes, espressos, cappuccinos, etc. and it was excellent. We both tried the Carnegie sandwich which is a combination of egg Gouda cheese tomato and caramelized onions. You can have the sandwich on a bagel, a baguette, or a biscuit. We loved our breakfast ! The atmosphere is almost like a sitting room, relaxed and unique unlike anything else that I've experienced in the area .The staff is friendly and efficient. Patrons were having breakfast an early lunch working on computers, or just having a delicious coffee . A great area restaurant. Five stars ! read more

They converted the old post office into a cute cafe and there is tons of seating and cool decor...the bad news is the food was just mediocre. This place so cute! I love that they have so much heart, from their free library to food donations, everything just speaks so much of the kind of company they are. The building and interior design are also just beautiful. We came on a sat morning, and there was a stream of customers coming in. There were plenty of seating throughout the space. This place is everything good about Carnegie and I highly recommend it. Great coffee, fantastic food, a cozy and welcoming atmosphere, and community efforts all in one place. All the staff are attentive and kind and good at what they do, making me glad to be a regular. As an example, right now that have a limited time sandwich which is their take on a Reuben and it was absolutely fantastic. Even better, it's for charity to help another local business, Riley's Pour House, get back on their feet. Lowkey disappointing when I got to the coffee and it tasted like something my 50 year old dad would drink. Not flavorful just a bland black coffee. I stopped by here this past Thursday by myself around lunch time. I knew that I was going to be in Carnegie on this day and happened to see the Carnegie Coffee Company on a map that I was looking at and decided that I should give it a try. So once my business was concluded, I headed on over. It's located in a large red brick building right on Main Street. The inside of this restaurant is quite large with a good sized seating area and then a coffee bar where you could order drinks and food. After looking over the menu I ultimately decided to go with a large Harvest moon latte (lavender vanilla latte) and ordered my wife the African nectar tea (Roobios base). It took only a few minutes before I had both of my drinks and was on my way. Once I made it back to the car I tried the latte and was happy with it. The coffee part of it was rich and strong which allowed you to taste it through the milk while the vanilla and lavender were subtle. Actually, they were a bit too subtle for my own liking but I could appreciate it knowing that I would always rather have too little of lavender than too much of it. Once I arrived back at my house I gave my wife the tea and she was happy with it. The bottom line for me is that I would head back here again in the future.
