Super cute coffee shop with plenty of seating for all sorts of activities! I really appreciated how much seating is offered here, so I wanted to note that first. The barista was nice and patient with me while I took a while to look at the menu. I was looking forward to something to munch on, and was a bit disappointed that there weren't any allergen friendly options, yet I also understood I shouldn't expect that from every place! I ended up just going with a lemonade and it was pretty good! They do the crushed balls of ice here, and seriously...why does it magically make everything taste better, hahaha! Decently priced items and the pastries looked super good! I would definitely recommend popping in sometime, especially because it's certainly a gem in West View. Always love being able to support small businesses!

New coffee spot in West View right on Perry Highway. Plenty of street parking as well as seating inside. The staff were friendly and ready to serve! Well, kind of. My friend and I went on a Saturday morning and we wanted to try their drink flights. They let us know they didn't have espresso, then said they could make it work. While we were waiting they put a sign on the door saying "out of espresso". On a Saturday morning?! Ouch! We got our flights and both of our lattes seemed weak and more just like flavored coffee. Everything was still good nonetheless. My favorite was the cinnamon roll cold brew. We also ordered a blueberry cream cheese pastry to share. It was delicious! Aside from their sweet pastries, they also have breakfast sandwiches. They have a cute little section with locally made gifts, stickers, etc. Overall a cozy little spot to grab a drink and quick bite to eat.

We decided to try this spot because the coffee flights looked good. We walked in and were promptly greeted and they explained everything and made recommendations. I was a little surprised at how expensive the flights were and it cost a lot extra to make a custom one verses just ordering their 4 "on special"drinks. The presentation of the flight was nice but we felt everything was overly sweet and tasted very similar to one another. The breakfast burrito was good and there were a lot of different seating options to choose from. While I would not return, this may be for you if you like super sweet coffee.

West View Brew is a great small business with friendly staff. Their coffee is always up to par with many different seasonal and creative drinks. Their cold coffees are my preference, especially if one involves their marshmallow cold foam! I also really enjoy their hot lattes. I notice they often have events for kids too like character visits etc!

The cutest little coffee shop in west view with a great coffee flight that's available! My favorite sip was the chai!

Love this space. It's so cute and adorable. They always have fun coffees to fit the season but it's a little on the pricey side. Grab a cinnamon roll. You won't regret it!

I loved walking into this cafe because it felt very welcoming and was a bright place into which to walk. The decor definitely welcomes customers and adds a fun yet calming vibe to the business. The coffee itself tasted great and the barista was kind. The price caused some sticker shock but it's a good coffee to get when you are splurging.

What a lovely space! The decor is enchanting and I love how many different seating options there are - comfy armchairs, tables and chairs, even an adorable kids' area. Books, games, and puzzles galore, and even a dedicated selection of children's books and games, which is a really thoughtful touch. Packed with charm!

I stopped by here a couple of Sunday's ago with my son for an afternoon coffee. The reason I chose West View Brew is that it was already afternoon, I needed my caffeine fix, and it was the closest coffee shop to my house. In actuality, this was my second visit here, as my whole family had stopped by some Sundays past. The inside of this coffee shop is nice, with some merchandise to buy, a place to order, and probably most importantly for my family, a kids corner complete with blue and pink tables and lots for them to do. It is easily the best kids area I have seen in a coffee shop in Pittsburgh. On my most recent visit, which happened to be May the 4th, I ended up ordering the Skywalker. The menu described my drink as a salted caramel latte topped with cold foam, crushed stroopwafel, and a blue lightsaber (a blue chocolate dipped pretzel). My drink ended up being quite good and I appreciated their Star Wars tie-ins for May the 4th with the colored cold foam. I could taste all of the coffee, milk, and salted caramel quite well, and I especially enjoyed the cold foam and when I got parts of stroopwafel in it. After sharing pictures of my drink with my wife, she ended up ordering a Darth Vader for herself which she loved. The bottom line for me is that I would head back here again in the future. Both times that we have been here my wife and I have enjoyed our drinks while the kids have enjoyed their designated play area.

I stopped by from a friend's recommendation. Parking on the street was easy. The decor is so inviting and music was uplifting. The staff were friendly and helpful. I learned all the treats are made in-house. From the menu I got a chocolate chip cookie and cappuccino. I enjoyed both while working.

BIG NEWS: An Insanely Cute Coffee Shop Just Opened! Say hello to West View Brew, the absolutely adorable new coffee shop on Perry Hwy in West View! Open daily and already welcoming party bookings and events, this place is a total vibe. The Decor? So. Freaking. Cute. The Coffee and Homemade Pastries? Unreal. Yes, you heard that right--all pastries and cold brew are made in-house. We LOVE to see it. With tons of flavor options and mouthwatering treats, this spot is already stealing hearts (and taste buds). Starting May 21st -- FLIGHTS are launching! Two incredible options: Back to Basics Flight Just the classics, done right: Chai Latte Matcha Cold Brew Brew-gie Flight (Brew + Bougie = Brew-gie) A rotating selection of over-the-top seasonal and creative drinks handpicked by the baristas. Think: Specialty Lattes Iced Chais Iced Matchas Bonus: Vote for your favorite flight flavor to be featured as a monthly special the following month! Love this interactive touch. Naturally, I had to go full extra and try the Brew-gie Flight -- and WOW. This month's lineup is next level: Toasted S'mores Chai Toasted marshmallow syrup, chai latte, topped with marshmallow cold foam, chocolate drizzle, mini marshmallows, and crushed graham crackers. Like a cozy campfire in a cup. Cinnamon Roll Cold Brew Cinnamon and vanilla syrup, housemade cold brew, vanilla cold foam, cinnamon sugar sprinkle, and yes -- a mini cinnamon roll on top! Sweet perfection. Hazelnut Mocha Latte Hazelnut, mocha sauce, espresso, milk, chocolate cold foam, and another mini cinnamon roll. Dessert and caffeine in one glorious sip. Lavender Honey Matcha Vanilla and lavender syrup, matcha, milk, and a housemade lavender honey cold foam sprinkled with dried lavender. Delicate, floral, and completely OBSESSED. If you're in the area (or honestly, even if you're not), run don't walk to West View Brew. It's everything we love in a local spot: creative drinks, homemade goodies, and serious attention to detail. I'm already planning my next visit.

Adorable little coffee shop just opened in West View! The space is a little small but the vibes are immaculate. They have local vendors art work and stuff to buy right by the door. There's a board with drinks as well as specials. I ordered the special Cadbury Egg Iced Latte which was so good I went back and got it again the day after. Service was good, but they've been busy so one the second day it took a little longer which is understandable. They do offer daily food options for breakfast and lunch but also have homemade bakery items. There's a kid corner in the back and the front has some books and board games. The decor is also super cute. So happy to have this place so close to home

This shop is part of a larger chain but currently appears to be the only location in the Pittsburgh area. It's located in East Liberty and is really more of a bakery than a coffee shop. The inside is split about 50/50, with half dedicated to seating and the other half serving as a self-serve bakery. You grab a tray and tongs before walking around selecting whichever baked goods catch your eye. They also have display cases filled with cakes and other pastries that need to be kept refrigerated. For my coffee on this morning I went with a 16 oz hot honey lavender macchiato while my wife chose a 16 oz iced tiramisu latte. I have to admit that the name of my drink confused me a bit at first, but it ended up being a latte macchiato as expected. With that being said, I thought it was quite good. The lavender was light enough to be noticeable without overpowering the drink, while the honey added just the right amount of sweetness. The espresso was also present, especially on the finish, where it added both flavor and body. My wife also enjoyed her latte and appreciated the tiramisu flavors throughout. Outside of the coffee, we ordered a number of pastries. My wife chose the Crookie, which is a cookie baked on top of a croissant. My son picked out a chocolate-covered Belgian waffle, while my daughter chose the strawberry soft bread. All of them enjoyed what they ordered, and I think my wife especially loved the Crookie. As for me, I went a little overboard and chose a garlic and cheese croissant, a curry croquette, pork-dusted bread, and a sweet taro cream bread. All of them were delicious in their own way. The garlic and cheese croissant was a nice savory option, with plenty of garlic flavor and a crispy cheese crust. The curry croquette had wonderful warming spices that made it especially flavorful. The pork-dusted bread was definitely the most unusual item. The pork topping reminded me of Wild Bill's Beef Jerky, and somehow those savory flavors worked really well on top of the crunchy laminated bread. Last but certainly not least was the taro cream bread. I was impressed by how light it felt despite being packed with an impressive amount of cream filling. The bottom line for me is that I would head back here again in the future. I'm a sucker for bakeries like this and clearly ordered far more than my waistline needed, but everything I tried was enjoyable. While the coffee was good, the pastries are the real reason to visit, with the coffee serving as an excellent complement.
