This is one of my mom's favorite places to buy the chickens for Thanksgiving don't forget to pre-order your chickens. Also they have a little corner where you can send money to some places in Mexico or you can exchange your paycheck for cash. You can also refill you water bottle .

Love this Carniceria. Some of the best quality meat you can get. The guys working the counter are always super helpful. It gets busy during holidays but the line moves quick. Haven't been here in a while, but this used to be my spot to buy meat for my family bbq the meat is still really good. I like the way they marinated it, but just like every Carniceria now these days the prices have gone up dramatically. they were on top of it. You don't have to wait long. They have plenty of butchers ready to help out they give you free salsa when you buy a certain amount of meat and they even let you try some other homemade Chicharron. read more

Don't ever go right before closing, went like 10 min before closing I get it they want to get out . If they out of marinated meat then just say we out I asked for carne asada n the guy got me 5lbs I asked for it marinated and all he did was add some premade marinade. Nothing like what they show case in the case. Might need to find a new spot I come here weekly. read more

To be completely honest I use to buy my carne ranchera from La Carneceria meat market but once I tried Los Compadres I never went back this is the best meat for your BBQS TRUST ME you wont regret it. The meat is juicy and tender and the seasoning wont upset your stomach its just perfect. read more

This place is definitely a popular one and they have organized chaos. Every walk if life was in that store. And everyone took pounds of meat home to bbq. We were referred to this place after a scrumptious bbq and it was worth the drive. Service was fantastic! Place is clean and orderly and prices for what you purchase extremely fair! Only downside is it's so busy there parking is at a minimum and the parking lot is very small. Take a drive and buy some of the carne asada or ribs to bbq. They were delicious! read more

One of the best carnicerias I've been too. The meat always looks really fresh. We love the ranchera meat it's just bomb. But only at this location we have try the other location they have and the meat is just not the same. Service while getting the meats is great. Me and my husband come pretty often.. My husband wanted to grill again so we stopped in to get some meat and chicken. As he is in line, they help the person behind him. The person behind the meat counter then asks who's next. My husband steps up to the counter and as he is telling the man his order, he proceeds to walk away. Very rude and disrespectful. Everyone but my husband was being treated great. Is it because my husband is black? Service sucks here. The meat quality is great and is why we continue to return despite the horrible service me and him both receive. Oh yeah they also fail to mention a 0.50 cent fee for using debit/credit, which I don't mind, but it'd be nice to know. read more

Ok Ok. I've had my Carniceria I've been going to my whole life and I've tried others With no luck. So my girl kept telling me about this place and she has bee to try it. I drove from GLENDORA!!! andddddd let me tell you. I will drive my happy butt down there ANY TIME . As hard as it is for me to admit. This place is way better than my spot . The people are friendly the meat looked so fresh. I feel the meat was a biiiiit over priced but after I tried it. I'll pay anything Got home and fired up the grill. The meat was seasoned perfectly. Once done it was soooo soft and flavorful . Bought green salsa and it had the right amount of spice. I called all of my family and friends to have them go and try it. I bought some ranchera here and it was soft. I know for a fact they used tenderizer season that's why the meat is soft might be choice USD but the stuff they put is to make it even softer for sure I can taste it. My review is specifically because I came Easter Sunday and I know the place was busy busy. Line moved fairly quickly but my mango habanero chicken was super salty. The ranchera was maybe a little salty as well but not like the chicken. I had already grilled it I had family over. Someone at the store wanted me to bring it back, it wasn't not gonna happen. Not with me hosting. Not looking for free food, but maybe a replacement promise or something?? Sucks cause I like coming here. read more

The ranchers meat is very good, but a bit pricey. I've never seen ranchera at $15 a pound. Family was happy with the t date, but if you planning a large gathering it will set you back a good amount. I do like that they give it to you in an aluminum tray. Much more convenient than just stuffing a bag with meat. read more

Not really knowing what to expect I reached out prior asking for a menu. The prices seemed like quite the steal so I figured I'd give it a shot. I left the valley around 8am and it took me about 35 mins to make it to East LA. They opened at 8:30 and when I arrived there were already people waiting. The setup is you walk up and take a menu. Once you make your selections you turn in your order and they begin to prep it for you. Now what's really cool is as we were waiting they were constantly bringing out new products not on the menu and even dropped prices on some of the items already out. A guy brought out a case of grass fed ribeyes for $6/each. I got several Australian wagyu steaks for I believe $10/each and I'm talking 10-12oz. It's been a long time since I've walked away feeling like I got a steal of a deal on anything in LA but this was amazing. If you can appreciate a good steak I highly recommend you follow their IG page and look out for their sales.

When I came in today I noticed the machine only dispensed watery melted ice cream. I was dissatisfied, I asked the workers in the front if maybe it needed more time and both works explained to me that the machine is broken and how sometimes it works and other times it doesn't. They explained the boss doesn't want to fix the machine which is truly unfair to the consumers who provide the money towards them, they can at least ensure the machines are functioning properly for their customers. I just want to also thank Anthony for being a great help and trying his best to ensure a good experience despite the broken machine.

I encountered the meats from this place at a friend's GOT finale party and liked them so much I had to write a review. Not to oversell it but definitely best chicken I've had in over 10 years. They're ranchera and tasajo is the best you can buy highly recommend it. Also try they're mago habanero chicken very good. Usually drive about an hour and 20 minutes for the meat. read more
