Travelled over and hour to visit this Location with my family , the carnitas are absolutely delicious But the customer service is horrible From the cashiers and servers I got my carnitas and 5 minutes my tortillas They forgot my husbands menudo I had to asked twice for it ... they are unorganized As a place of high demand right now they need better management to help with the getting people in and out as quick as possible . My husband and I came for the chicharrones and guacamole but ended up trying several things. We wanted to go early for the freshest prospects so we called first to make sure everything was available. The gentlemen who answered the phone assured me that they had plenty and it was all fresh. His customer service was great over the phone and was even better in person. It's a small, quint restaurant that offers homemade sauces, pic de gallo and delicious guacamole. My husband doesn't eat guacamole or care at all for cilantro but he loved everything-- which really shocked me. We purchased pork trotters (feet), braised pork, braised pork belly and the chicharrones as well as an array of delicious sauces. We also got corn and flour tortillas--so good. I ordered the Carnitas torta Thursday special which was advertised on the board at $7.99. It was a disappointment as it was bland and mostly tasted like lard. When we received the bill it was charged at regular price which was $10.99. We questioned the discrepancy and were told the $7.99 is a cash only price. If a credit card is used then you're charged full price but it is not stated anywhere. This is a bad way to do business-- very sneaky and deceptive. I've eaten here a few times. It seems like they cook the food and put it into a freezer and reheat it and serve. I've gotten food with tomatoes being bad made me feel sick. Then again with the lettuce and then again with the sauce. The people in there are incredibly nice though.
