It's a well known spot with the locals with several locations in the city. We ordered tacos with both crispy and soft tortillas as a vessel for our combo of birria and chicharrones. The taco was a dramatic flavor explosion in my mouth. I was almost reduced to tears with every bite because it was so good. The mixture of flavors and textures in this taco was unlike any taco I've ever had! My friend said that haven't great quality and tasty food isn't new to Tijuana and it has always been like this. As an Alta Californian, your dining dollars go a long way here. $1 - $2 per taco. I'm in love with Baja California and their food scene right now. I can't wait for my next visit.

As you walk in, you can see a lady making handmade tortillas. You can also see a large container of freshly made chicharron. The inside is nice with plenty of tables to seat multiple parties. They have two dining areas. My brother loves their tacos de carnitas surtidos. He normally gets three. They are made with handmade tortillas. I try something new each visit. So far, I've had their pan frances, tacos, pechuga de pollo, arrachera, and chilaquiles. Everything has been tasty. For this visit, I had their enchiladas with red sauce. I had one of each filing: chicken, cheese, and pork. They serve the three enchiladas with frijoles refritos, and machaca. I also got a licuado de platano. The licuados are lightly sweetened. The red sauce was flavorful. I've never had an enchilada with pork. The pork enchilada had the best flavor. They use queso cotija like my mom does. The chicken enchilada was flavorful. The chicken was seasoned well. They accept card and cash. If you pay with cash, I would recommend bringing pesos for a faster transaction. If you pay with dollars, they do take around 15-20 minutes to bring you change. I'm looking forward to trying more dishes.

The nachos were loaded and delicious, and the guacamole was super fresh, creamy, and packed with flavor. The flan was also amazing. Honestly, everything we tried was excellent, our group basically ordered one of everything on the menu and there wasn't anything that didn't taste great. Service was fantastic; very friendly, attentive, and they happily spoke English when my Spanish started failing me Bathrooms were clean too, which is always a huge plus when you're eating across the border.
