Wow! The folks at Carolina Charm Florist are AMAZING! I can't say enough good things about the service (and genuine caring) provided by Lee, the owner, and her sister Julie. I was looking for an arrangement to have delivered to my aunt who has been moved into hospice care. My aunt is one of the sweetest, most wonderful people you could ever meet so I wanted it to be especially beautiful. I've had a couple of bad experiences with ordering expensive arrangements from highly rated florists only to have the delivered arrangement look nothing like the pictured/agreed upon arrangement (I assume they thought I would never know what was actually delivered). Given my relative's health situation, I didn't want the same to happen again and I couldn't have picked a better florist to ensure that it didn't. I saw a Teleflora arrangement on the Carolina Charm web site that was very pretty but not exactly what I was looking for. After just a few minutes on the phone with Julie (and with very vague information from me), they created a custom arrangement in the same price range as the Teleflora arrangement that was absolutely SPECTACULAR. They provided me with pictures of what they delivered (I don't know that I've ever seen as many flowers in a tabletop arrangement and every single one was beautiful) and they even managed to deliver it the same day. Needless to say my aunt was blown away by the arrangement and other family members said they were amazed at the size and quality of the arrangement. I was really excited to purchase flowers from this site after seeing the positive reviews. I picked a nice bouquet priced around $80 for my mother's birthday. I recently saw the bouquet I purchased in person and I was blown away by how small and underwhelming it was. Carolina Charm created the perfect replica of a spray that I found on their website for my Father-in-law's casket spray. I called the store on Tuesday and placed my order with Melanie. She was absolutely great to work with. She checked to ensure they had all the flowers needed in order to make the spray. She informed me that they didn't have one of the flowers but stated that they would substitute it with an equal flower in price. The flower was delivered in time for the Wednesday night viewing and it was absolutely beautiful. I highly recommend them. read more

I always try to use local florists when I can, but it's hard to trust what you may not ever see to be what you hope it to be. Case in point, the last bouquet I purchased didn't look anything like the picture. I even unchecked the box that said they could use other flowers if the ones I chose were unavailable and yet they still chose to use what they had in-store. I appreciate flowers any way they come and I know the recipient did as well; however, I have a hard time dealing with the fact that they blatantly assumed I would never see the final product. I say that because they were so obviously thrown together at the last moment (as evidenced by the 2 PM phone call I received to verify my debit card info). My mom said there were dead flowers and she had to rearrange them when she got them- for $45, that is unbelievable! I have been a regular at Carolina Charm and it's mostly been simply because they were local and I wanted to give them the business. That being said, after calling and complaining, Lee graciously refunded my money and apologized, citing that perhaps the flowers I ordered were mixed up with funeral flowers. While we may never know, I do appreciate the quick solution and have added one more star to this review. My dad uses them all the time and has had good and bad experiences with them, too. My cousin used them for her wedding and she said the did a great job, so perhaps it was just an error. From now on, I will be getting pictures of the flowers I send so that I can verify I'm getting what I pay for! read more

Great local flower shop and they will work with your budget. If you use the website I would suggest using it as a reference then calling in your order. The staff is very friendly and will help you out. I have used them many times over the years and always enjoy their products. read more

The owner Lee was an absolute delight to work with and was so helpful in realizing the vision I shared with her. The flowers were all fresh and the sprays reflected the budget I gave her. I took off a star because I assumed (my fault) that the banners would be printed not glitter, though tastefully done. Also, I would have increased the budget so the red spray could be fuller. Good points- Friendly staff and the flowers were delivered on time. They got the job done. Not so good points- The flowers were just kind of meh. The arrangement looked thrown together and lacked creativity. They sort of used the flowers that I requested. They did not have a lot of flowers in stock. The ribbon color did not match the arrangement and they just simply tied a bow around the vase. Nothing fancy. After only using this florists once, I will continue to shop around for a more creative florist. read more

I have now used Carolina Charm twice recently to order for a funeral. They have been very helpful in helping me choose something in the budget and the plant that was delivered was just as described. In both cases the family was very pleased with the plant that was sent. My extended family has used them for casket sprays and wreaths. My birthday flowers are the most beautiful arrangement that I've ever gotten. My mother-in-law called the shop from Atlanta in the late morning on Saturday. I received the arrangement before noon that same day, delivered by a super friendly woman. I Love Carolina Charm and think that Leigh, the owner is super talented.
