This was my first visit to this.. I'm assuming locally owned hardware store. I purchased over 400…read morepounds of rocks for my flower garden. While everyone was very friendly, my only complaint about this business was with all the strong young men that assisted me, weighing my rocks, when I went to load them in my car no one offered to help me. I'm almost 70 and while I'm perfectly capable of lifting and loading my car it would of been nice to have an offer for help. I like to support the local business but if I had gone to Lowe's they would of offered assistance. Since I do have a choice of where to go I will try somewhere that puts customers above all else.

We decided to stop at Lowe's and get a feel for the materials available and costs associated to a project like ours. As we entered the store Lowe's pro sales specialist, Tony Pisano ask if he could be of help. It was certainly our great luck to have had this chance meeting because he has become an unbelievable source of information and guidance. he simplified the composite board menu available to us and helped us make the right choice. He also suggested other materials that would be needed with this type of wood. He helped find the best prices and delivery options available to us. His advice has resulted in our saving quite a bit of money and knowing that he is only a phone call away if we have a concern is a real confidence builder for us. We also want to give a shout out to Alina Lavrenyuk , 8another pro sales specialist from Lowe's who gave up her lunch hour to help us with our project and convert our existing account to a Lowe's pro (business ) account, which gave us even more savings. It's our hope that our compliments will filter from management back to Tony and Alina with thanks for being such dedicated Lowe's employees and their importance to attracting and keeping customers.

This is the WORST Lowe's store I have ever experienced, multiple times over. My most recent…read moreexperience involves the cabinet department. Long story made short, a cabinet associate quoted us for a project in a color we didn't want, we requested the color be changed to make sure everything was what we asked for and she refused because "color doesn't affect the cost" and we can change it at check out. We said ok and changed the color, not only to find out that no stock and no projected stock was available for the color we wanted, but that Color does in fact affect the cost in a significant way. The stock issue and color cost difference issue should have been something relayed to us when the cabinet pack was designed. They also refused to make this right. This store is run by a manager and team of other managers who clearly do not care about training and managing employees, which would explain what happened to us, as well as their perpetual short staffing. Don't shop here. Also, if anyone else has had a similar experience, you should contact Lowe's Executive Customer Service. That phone number is 866-284-8989. Again, this store is poorly run, poorly staffed and the manager should be looking for a different career since they obviously care so little about their staff and the customer experience.

I took it to Ace in Mills River and David and Peter were incredibly kind and helpful and showed me how to put new string on. I really appreciated how they took the time to figure out how to fix the problem, as well as show me, and let me try to solution so I knew I could replicate it at home. Would recommend going here if you have an issue with a tool, the service was great and everyone was kind.
