We brought our Grey Wolf to Carolina Campers for a problem with the AC when the original dealer we…read morepurchased from could not figure out the problem. We met Kenny that day and in less than 15 minutes, it knew what the problem was and then explained it while showing us the problem. Needless to say, we will STAY with Carolina Campers from here on out. When we had the current problem, again, Carolina Campers found the problem fast, got the part needed in also very fast and it was back on the road in a few days. Hats off and tons of kudos to Kenny, Taylor, Don, and Stephanie, not only for there intense efficiency, but also for their truly friendly help, expertise, and making us feel like they are "friends of the family". It's companies and people like this that make American businesses what they should be. You have our deepest appreciation, and we will ALWAYS come to Carolina Campers, not only for service, but when it's time to upgrade to a new RV as your prices on everything is SO much better than the competition. Thanks again and we wish you all the very best. Have a blessed day. Kirk and Sandra, Graham NC

We called a Tiffin Dealer and they were very indifferent toward our problem. We saw Carolina Campers and RVs and pulled in with the hope they'd be able to help. They made us feel like they'd been waiting for us to arrive! Stephanie met us as we pulled in with a huge smile and let us know, that while they couldn't do Tiffin warranty work, they had two Tiffin qualified technicians. Within 5 minutes, we were introduced to Chad, who reset the Water Heater and then gave us a tour of the inside workings of the motor home. We were on our way within 30 minutes! Vacation Saved!

Service department was very cooperative with getting me scheduled at a time that suited me. Zack took care of my hitch issue and set it where it should have been. He also offered advice on loading the trailer for a better experience. The whole thing took about an hour. I'm fairly new to towing a camper and while I waited, I talked with Brian in parts a bit about the trailer itself. And he offered great info as well. They treated me like I was a long time customer. Couldn't have been happier!

We live full time in our RV and we made sure they knew that we would need it back as quickly as possible. 5 working days later we still hadn't heard anything, so I called. They hadn't even gotten the estimate done yet. She said they were waiting to hear about a part. We went to pick it up because we couldn't wait any longer. She said they were having a hard time finding the cabinet colors, even though my husband clearly stated that the cabinets didn't need to match because we were going to be painting them. She said she would send an estimate using similar cabinets. It's been almost two months and we haven't heard a word. Definitely will be taking our fifth wheel elsewhere.

I'm still looking for a replacement RV and Carolina Coach isn't too far away. We reached out to…read moretheir sales department and were in touch with Matt, who invited us to stop in. So we did and he showed us around. First, three Class B vans. These were all built on the Ram Promaster base and started at $70,000 (marked down massively from the sticker price) to over $120,000. Not a huge selection in our price range but they're nice vans even if they didn't fit my needs. While we were here, let's take a look at some of the travel trailers. Matt was again helpful, getting the gold cart and bringing us to what we wanted to see. The basic and the "one better than the basic". Both are nice and interesting and while it was the nice shiny object, it was great. Once we got into our car to head home, we realized that a travel trailer just won't work. There's no stealth and you can't park it anywhere. Especially not in my driveway or my Dad's driveway. HOA covenants and all that. We mentioned the atrocious Yelp reviews to Matt. He thinks they're fake or created by competitors. "We really don't take any notice of it. It's just a website for complaints." In the end, we didn't make a purchase from Carolina Coach. But Matt continues to be helpful and provide info. Maybe one day, they'll have something we want. [Review 16908 overall - 3235 in North Carolina - 424 of 2022.]

I normally do not leave long reviews, but after everything my family and I experienced throughout…read morethis process, I feel obligated to share my honest experience regarding the purchase of my 2026 Forest River Wildwood Heritage Glen 261FKRB from General RV in Salisbury. Initially, the sales experience was excellent. The salesperson was personable, confident, and made us feel valued as customers. My friend and I both committed to purchasing RVs on April 25, 2026, believing we were dealing with a company that prioritized professionalism, preparation, and customer satisfaction. Unfortunately, once the sale was completed, the experience became increasingly frustrating and disappointing. Before my walkthrough appointment on May 1, I clearly communicated to multiple staff members that taking time away from work directly impacts my income. I explained that it was extremely important for the RV to be fully prepared and ready before my arrival because every hour missed from work costs me money. I drove nearly two hours to the dealership after being told I could arrive early to begin the process sooner. Upon arrival, I discovered the wrong RV had been prepared entirely. Staff had apparently been cleaning and setting up another customer's unit. I was then told my RV would be ready in "15 minutes," but I ended up waiting well over an hour before the walkthrough even began. Due to the delays and lack of preparation, I lost an entire day of income totaling approximately $800. Once the inspection finally started, I immediately identified several quality issues, including improperly mounted ceiling lights, cabinet defects, a twisted cabinet rail, and an improperly sealed electrical/power box in the bathroom. While I understand manufacturers can make mistakes, I questioned why these issues were not caught during General RV's own pre-delivery inspection process before presenting the RV to the customer. The dealership agreed to repair the issues, but during one repair attempt, additional cosmetic damage was caused to the trim area, making the repair look rushed and unprofessional. I was then assured everything would be corrected and the RV would be delivered on May 7. However, upon delivery, the camper had a significant interior water leak, forcing the delivery driver to immediately return it back to the dealership for repairs. After another delay, the RV was finally delivered again on May 11. Unfortunately, even then, the camper had not been properly cleaned from the debris and mess left behind from the repair process. After everything that had already happened, this lack of attention to detail was extremely disappointing. At this point, my frustration is no longer simply about defects. The larger issue has been the overall lack of communication, preparation, urgency, and proactive customer service throughout the process. Nearly every update required repeated follow-ups on my end just to receive basic information regarding repairs or delivery timelines. Spending nearly eight hours at the dealership for what should have been a straightforward walkthrough process was completely unreasonable and reflected poor coordination between departments. To be fair, there were employees who attempted to help throughout the process, and I appreciate those efforts. However, good intentions alone do not fix systemic communication breakdowns and poor quality control. Purchasing an RV is a major financial investment and should be an exciting experience for families. Customers deserve professionalism, transparency, preparation, accountability, and proactive communication throughout the process. I genuinely hope General RV leadership takes reviews like this seriously and uses customer experiences like mine as an opportunity to improve quality control, communication, and overall customer service moving forward.

General RV in Salisbury is the worse RV dealer I have ever dealt with (I have had 3 RVs) and I feel…read morea responsibility to future buyers to make them aware. This is the first and only review I have ever left so I am not a constant complainer. I bought a very expensive diesel pusher last summer and every aspect of the transaction has been horrible. Sales, vehicle delivery, parts and service have been horrible. I ended up having to go to the factory in Indiana to get my rig serviced. Advisors don't return calls (repeatedly-not an isolated incident) and when you have an appointment to get your rig serviced-that's only an appointment with an advisor; it will likely be several weeks before your rig actually makes it inside a bay to begin the actual work. The process is fundamentally flawed. They will not connect you with the service manager either. They list various department heads on their website but no mention of the service manager. Why is that? When you have an appointment at the factory; you have an appointment in the shop that day. Buyers should only buy a brand from this dealer that offers factory service and you should be prepared to take your rig to the factory for service. In my case, the factory did a fantastic job. Full days drive to Indiana but it was well worth it. Buyers should know what they are getting into up front.
