I've had my hermit crab well over 8 years. Prob 10 tbh. We treat this crab like a king but we ran out of the shells he likes to live in. Yes they are picky! And no kidding he's molting while we're here on vacation so perfect timing and Sea Shell City has the shells he likes! Home decor! A nice Conch on the fireplace mantel or a bowl of clay shells in tje bathroom are a hit. You can make shell wind chimes and shell necklaces. You can out them in your fish tank and in your garden. I have a couple shells in my pot with my snake plant. Just eye candy really. Also they can be great for conversation starters when your guests come over. On to the incense! They has the thick sticks for $1 each! Cinnamon and Vanilla for me. The normal thin ones were $0.20 a each so I'm set. They had a great selection of scents. Sea Shell City also has your theme decor of: "It's 5 o'clock somewhere" stuff. Wall hangings and paradise bird decor stuff. You know. I love it. And so do millions of other people. This place has been around more than 40 years and still providing a great service! No Covid bringing this place down! Come on in and brainstorm while you walk around. The shop closes at 4pm on Friday, so just keep this in mind if you go. The prices were on some things were a little high, but expected for a beach shop. I simply needed four boxsprings to lower two beds. I decided to contact this local store since they were near by. I realize that many stores are short staffed and might be working with customers. I did speak with a salesperson, placed an order, but then she had to make phone calls about delivery. We discussed two dates, and I remember wanting to coordinate our travels to our condo. I admit I wrote down the wrong date, but at 80 I am allowed to do it. Immediately when it was discovered it was not just a simple redelivery, but then there was another $150 for redelivery, and another $75 for rescheduling. I was then told to call the store to see if the salesperson could help get these fees waived. I spoke to her and she said she would do what she could do. Of course, she could not simply make a call, but this had to be handled by an email to the owner and the delivery manager. The more I thought about it, I realized that this store was all about the money and not service. After running a successful business for 40 years, I knew this was not the way to deal with customers. I called back and was told she did not have a response to her initial email. I explained that I just wanted to cancel the order. I then was cautioned that if I did that, they would still charge me the initial fees for the failed delivery and a 25% restocking fee. Mind you when I first spoke to them these items were in such demand I was told they might night be available. You decide if this is the kind of business you want to deal with. I contacted C&E Furniture about design a condominium by the ocean I was renovating. I want to…read morereport that I was very happy with the outcome of this project and the work which C&E Furniture did for me. The owner, Katie Winnington, has a smart & effective team approach to their work and I had the pleasure of working with both Erica Ellison and Britney Keidel as well as Katie on the design and execution of it. The outcome was terrific and the designers on my project were outstanding. I would say anyone going through a renovation has to have realistic expectations about the many challenging and difficult dynamics any quality interior design company deals with at any given time. What was nice was that they kept me informed. They told me if there was a supply chain issue on something I wanted to order. They told me if there was an unexpected hiccup in something. And each person, Erica, Britney and Katie, are very good at what they do. Any person doing a renovation of anything - a house, a room, a condo -who thinks it is easy work for the designer has unrealistic expectations. It is an extremely difficult business, and they earn every penny they charge. I had the cell phone numbers of each person with C&E I was working with, and if I had a question, and they were considerate about responding timely. I strongly recommend this company. Renovations are difficult: Be kind, thoughtful, reasonable and patient to who you work with when you undertake one. It pays enormous dividends - especially when you have people working as hard as the C&E team worked for me!

If this place lowered the cost considerably, they might sell some of this stuff. The Buddha, and other statues in my picture, is over $500 just like most of the other large pots sitting outside forever. Come off the price. People will buy. And so on... it will come back around. Inside was really worse. Upon walk in the damp must was a smack in the face. Costs were ridiculous. Even a vegetable brush was $14? (Just as a reference) I walked the whole store actually trying to find something to buy and walked out shaking my head.

I enjoyed winding my way through the maze of goodies. Some of the things that caught my eye were Polish pottery, pretty reusable tote bags, cheeky kitchen gadgets and funny cocktail napkins. They also had sign art, candles, throw blankets, funny socks, adult greeting cards, yard flags and air plants. It's a very eclectic mix of merchandise. The store is a bit tight in spots so I'd recommend against bringing a gaggle of people, big purse or stroller.
