I booked Carolina Tiki for my birthday 2nd year in a row and I was beyond impressed last year and I'd have to say even more impresses this year! From start to finish Carolina tiki's experience was above and beyond! The booking process is a breeze and the office manager is so informative! On the day of the trip, Chris and Austin were incredible. Capt.Chris made sure we were safe and drove us around while first mate Austin made sure that every person on the boat had everything they needed from drinks to sunscreen. Even with some inclement weather they let the party continue while the monitored the weather! They have all the floats and amenities that you could need. Seriously this is the best experience, I would recommend it to anyone looking for a great and safe way to get out on lake Norman!! We rented Carolina Tiki for a family outing and we had a really great time! Jason and his son were captaining the boat and went out of their way to make sure we were comfortable. They were right there to answer any questions and to help us with anything we needed. The weather was a little iffy for the day but ended up being sunny and comfortable. They took us to a cove where the kids could go swimming for a few hrs. off the boat and then to an island where beached the boat and relaxed. The grill was perfect for us to cook up some lunch for everyone and there was plenty of room for us to bring our own coolers. It was nice to be able to relax and have someone else worry about driving the boat. We will definitely be back next year to rent Carolina Tiki and we highly recommend them for your next event. read more

I rented the Carolina Tiki for a Sweet 16 birthday celebration. We were not disappointed! The weather was less than ideal - a cloudy, cool, rainy day in mid-August, but that didn't stop us from having a wonderful time. We had kids ranging from 5-45 years old on board, and everyone had a blast. Captain Chris and his mate, Austin, were absolutely phenomenal. The customer service they provided went above and beyond anything we could have expected. There were plenty of water toys and games to be played. The grill was perfect for heating up our food. Chris and Austin were attentive to everyone's needs, and the day just flew by. We would absolutely charter with them again and look forward to doing so! read more

Our group had an incredible time on the Carolina Tiki boat! We were looking for something fun to celebrate the 4th of July weekend that was close by to Charlotte and that could accommodate our large group. After looking into multiple different chartered boat options in the area, Carolina Tiki was by far our first choice and I'm so glad we chose it!! It had everything we wanted plus some: ample seating space for everyone (including some hammocks!), a stereo system, tons of inflatables for the water, a grill, and even a card table for games. We rented the boat last Friday for an afternoon "Team Building" outing with my team at work. Captain (and owner) Jason and his son Austin (1st Mate) were impeccable hosts, placing out floats for us all day and even getting us drinks & snacks! The boat is well maintained and is in great shape. It is very large with plenty of seating room for the 13 of us to lounge comfortably... and lots of room for our 4 coolers too! The bathroom on board is a huge plus. I highly recommend as we had a fun and relaxing time! Awesome experience - we will be rebooking next year for sure! Can't recommend Jason and Carolina Tiki enough! Our group of 16 from all over the country was visiting Lake Norman for a bachelor party and Carolina Tiki's set-up could not be more perfect. Jason was super accommodating, picked us up from our lake front dock and provided a fun experience. We brought several coolers, food, and Jason provided a grill and tons of floats for us to chill on the water. For any group not wanting to deal with the hassle of renting a pontoon boat (or two), dealing with a designated driver, or just looking for a boat that can accommodate more people, Carolina Tiki is the way to go! read more

Leading up to our trip, we were all excited, but even more pleased once we were on the boat. Chris and Austin were a great captain and first mate and were so accommodating, connecting with all of us like they were family. It was nice to be able to grill onboard and have lunch in between swimming. Kids had so much fun playing in the water and lounging on the floats. Thankfully we had perfect weather, but was something everyone enjoyed. Will definitely do this again when we are back on Lake Norman and would recommend to anyone looking for something to do with a large group to get out on the lake. read more

Wow! What a great day on Lake Norman with family on Carolina Tiki. The boat has everything for a wonderful experience both on the boat as well as playing in the water. We were on and off the boat utilizing the floating mat as well as noodles. Adults and kids enjoying a seemless experience. Our Captain was Chris and First Mate was Sebastian and they were just wonderfully professional and accomodating. We spent 4 hours on the boat and wish we spent more. Our company had an INCREDIBLE 7hr charter with Carolina Tiki! The boat is like a floating living room paradise! So much room for our team to walk around, sit, place a drink down, even swing or take a leak! Captains Jason and Austin were beyond helpful in anything our team needed, including loading our coolers on and off the boat or serving as boat DJ. Had the best experience with Austin and Chris this past weekend for my sister bachelorette on the lake! We truly had a blast! Austin was there with a new drink right as everyone's drinks were empty! The boat was so big and was plenty space for 17 girls! I booked a 6 hour trip with Carolina Tiki for my brother's bachelor party. It was incredible, all 11 of us walked off that boat at the end saying how much of a great time we had. We chartered Carolina Tiki on Memorial Day and had a great experience. The weather wasn't ideal on that particular day but the boat was clean and the crew (Captain Chris and First Mate Austin) was very friendly and helpful. Seating was comfortable for our group, it was nice that there is both a covered and uncovered areas, and the bathroom was super convenient. Highly recommend! read more
