EXCELLENT SERVICE AND VERY ACCOMODATING! Carol has been cleaning for me for over two years now. She does excellent work, and goes out of her way to accomodate the needs of my family. She is the sole owner of her company, and most of her jobs come word of mouth due to the small nature of her business. I was shocked to read the comment from Jessica, but then realized she was from California and had never actually used her service. If I were in a situation such as needing someone long distance for a cleaning job, I would be more apt to hire a a larger company that can accomodate her needs such as a fax machine, etc... I also know that during this time Carol's sister was actively dying in a hospice, and Carol was her primary caretaker. So when this lady refers to her as disorganized and flighty, who in their right mind wouldn't be during such a time? Thank God no one judged me the first few months after my mother was in a hospice and died. Unprofessional to let a client know that up front she has serious issues at home? Absolutely not!! I would definitely want to know. That helps me to understand why there may be current conflicts with her schedule, etc. She didn't bring her personal issues to my home either. Living in CA myself, expectations are different, one of the many reasons I moved back to MI. Carol does not have a dishonest bone in her body, so shame on you for writing an evaluation on such little knowledge of her actual work ethics. In Michigan, we care for one another. It's a midwest thing we take great pride in. So for those of you reading such an inacurrate and emotionally charged critique, please disregard. Carol most likely cancelled her appointment because this lady was not willing to pay up front, and based how this lady was probably treating her via phone, she may not of gotten paid. EXCELELLENT CLEANING JOB Once I had to go back to work in September I have had a hard time keeping up with my house work. My husband works, and now I am working 8 sometimes 9 hours a day, plus we take care of two grade school children. With us both working hard and are involved in our children's school. We have zero time to take care of my house like I usually do. Thanksgiving comes along and a was expecting 20 plus people; aunts, uncles, three sisters and their families. Plus my mom and dad are staying the weekend. So I needed a lot of help. I talked to Carol on the 5th and she said she would come by on the 7th and give an estimant. I am very particular on how and what I expect, running boards, top of fridge, finger prints, etc... I wanted it to sparkle for my family on Thanksgiving like it always did.
