Friendly staff short quick lines. No cash accepted. I got the swirl chocolate dropped cone. It was delicious!

Nothing I love more than cold sweet treats on the boardwalk! Loved this old school looking spot with so many sweet treat options! We went simple with a frozen chocolate covered banana with peanuts and vanilla soft serve in a cone! The line wasn't that bad, price was reasonable and the lady helping us was nice.

Get your dipped soft-serve cone fix here! I have a total nitpick: they regularly don't dip far enough for the chocolate shell to connect to the cone. Things start off ok, but eventually the ice cream melts like crazy under the bottom edge of the chocolate.

Um excuse me, but this is the best and most beautiful ice cream cone I've ever had in my life. Don't question anything, just go straight here and grab a swirl. Or two. Nobody will judge you.

Burgers were delicious, fries were very good as well. Little tough to find a table on a Saturday…read morebut the live music and overall vibe are solid. Slightly overpriced since there is no table service. Parking is less than ideal as well since it's central to Santa Cruz but that's expected. Maybe the best part is the fact that everyone in your group can find something to eat (even if it's not Belly Goat) since there are several options in Abbott Square. This is what the US should look like. People of all ethnicities enjoying food from all over the world (I know, I know, I got a burger lol). But everyone just chillin', enjoying great weather and good food. Highly recommend a stop here

If you're a cow eater, this is your place. My husband devoured his Cowboy Burger ($18.00). He…read morethought the burger was juicy and prepared perfectly with paired toppings. The Lost Boys ($6.75)(garlic fries) were perfection. The fries are separate from the garlic confit and herbs provided in an Individual container. The garlic was well balanced in flavor, far from being overwhelming, fresh and so satisfying when paired with the fries. The Ahi Burger ($15) was not my favorite. The brioche bun was soft and toasted slightly, the slaw was crunchy and flavorful, the burger itself needed flavor. It felt like an afterthought rather than a main highlight of this dish. If we return, I would try the Forager ($14) a portobello, avocado mash burger I missed on the menu.

Had a great time trying arepas at Pana while at the sharks game on a Thursday night!…read more It's a popular spot that capture a long line because of its live cooking and delicious food. It took about 7-10 minutes for my food to be done. I ordered the Sifrina which is an arepa with shredded chicken, cheese, mayo, and avocado. It was so delicious, great amount of filling, and the avo spread was so tasty. Would love to come here again!

I can't believe I hadn't written a review for Pana before!…read more I hadn't been around the Santa Cruz area in a while, but I was so happy to be back and finally check out their new spot inside Abbott Square Market, right on Cooper Street. I've been to Pana before and usually go for the Pabellón arepa, which is also delicious, but this time I tried the Reina Pepiada, and wow. It's made with shredded chicken, mayo, and avocado. The arepa was extra crispy, which I loved. Honestly, even as a Colombian, and someone who grew up eating arepas all my life, I have to say, this Venezuelan version is amazing. Super flavorful and well-balanced. Germán, the owner, was super welcoming as always. He told me they're opening a new location in San José, which is way closer to me, and I'm honestly so excited to visit them there too! The vibe that day was perfect. There was live music playing, people dancing, and I was just sitting there enjoying my arepa in the sun with all that great energy around me. If you haven't tried Pana, you're missing out. The food, the people, the vibe, todo was on point.
