Musso and Frank's Grill on Hollywood Blvd. has been a regular dining rotation of ours for decades. But the parking RATES have INCREASED! We must ALERT patrons of the SHAMEFUL practices of this PARKING company "CarPark". Our server thoughtfully reminded us to get validated so the charge would be "no more than $15," he said--but, then upon retrieving our vehicle the valet said it will be $25 because we were just over 3 hours. That's contrary to what we were told! And their small podium sign reads 'up to a maximum of $25' implying increases are incremental. However, It should read, ONE MINUTE over 3 hours and the already steep price of $15 JUMPS to an even more exorbitant price of $25. Regardless, what's the point in validating if you're charged the maximum! Plus a $1 credit-card use charge which we were NOT told about and discovered on treceipt. MEANWHILE The SERVERS need to be more swift with their service, since SLOW SERVICE means you are in jeopardy of incurring a STEEPER $25 valet CHARGE. The Restaurant Musso and Frank's is not worth the parking prices & their unscrupulous practices. read more

Nearly 2 years have passed since my original post. All of a sudden I get a call out of the blue from, Joseph Gharib, who apparently owns this company. Joseph seemed clearly apologetic and asked me about the incident which I have since forgotten. He offered to send me a gift card to one of their partner restaurants, Loteria. Two months later I received a letter and a $50 gift card. Nothing excuses the level of service I experienced from this company, but it is heartening that they are trying to do right. However, my car was not damaged- if it was this would have been a whole different situation. read more

TERRIBLE!! They dented and scratched the back of my brand new car! When the valet guy returned the car to me after dinner, he hurried me back into the car yelling at me that the keys were in the cup holder. Um okay? I knew something was up because he seemed nervous like on drugs or something. Then I got home and realized he had smashed my back bumper into something! I have the worst experience with this company. I have been using their service for three months now and the monthly pass is always due on the 3rd of every month. I'm moving out tomorrow which is the 2nd. Valet at 611 s Catalina st. saw me moving stuff to the car and asked me if I'm going to get a new pass next month. I said no because I'm leaving. DON'T USE THIS COMPANY. These guys broke my passenger window (on a rainy night. Why would you even need to open it?) They promptly sent us a claim form it took about a week to get then another week to hear from their insurance company now a week later we hear from a third party saying our claim was denied, I asked why and he said it's the regulator and they sometimes go out and slide half way down. It was a coincidence that it happen to them and the company couldn't be held responsible. I waited a month with a broken window to hear that. Wish I had read that other guys review first... Nothing better than quality service and feeling secure when you leave your car with someone! I was late to go to a show, very hungry and the parking lot near the theater was full. I pulled into the lot on Las Palmas in Hollywood. The attendant was very professional and informative. He suggested some quick restaurants to grab a bite to eat on the way to the theater. I was very pleased with the customer service I received this past Tuesday on my trip with my friends to Hollywood. It was SSSSSOOOOO frustrating to find a decent parking spot, or at least it was until I came across the Los Palmas parking lot. There was a man working there, and he was so kind! He treated my friends and I like we were royalty lol. He let us choose the parking spot of my choice (I am so bad at parking lol). My friends and I were satisfied, and went went off to our destination! When we returned, we found that two cars had parked next to me. I was extremely nervous, but the attendant remembered that I was worried about the whole parking situation, and came to my rescue! Very good Customer Service. This is one of my favorite parking companies ever. Whenever I go to Hollywood, I specifically look for their parking lots because of the great customer service they provide. In addition to that, their prices are beyond reasonable compared to other Lots in the area. I have never seen a more organized and on point staff. They are constantly running around to a assure their customers are highly satisfied. I've parked at several of their parking lots in Hollywood and I've never had any issue with my car or with the attendants. Usually the attendants are pretty nice and friends (which has not always been the case for me at OTHER parking lots) and so I appreciate this! By far the worst company I have ever ever ever worked with. I am not a picky or hard to deal with client. I always tip well, but when I am mistreated I will definitely share to help others stay away. They damaged my car and have been so incredibly unpleasant to deal with, I have tried talking to the owner, who apparently is too busy to call me back about a claim in HIS company. They then pawned me off (not the the insurance, but a third party) who "evaluated" my damages and said that they declined my claim. How can you decline fixing something you broke?! I trusted this company with my car and they sh*** all over me. Now I'm having to work on taking them to court to get my car fixed. Do yourself a favor and self park, avoid this god awful company at ALL costs. They should be ashamed of their service. read more

I was at the lot on San Vincente and Sunset, next to the London Hotel today. I parked at aprox 4pm and when I arrived, there was no attendant and no price listed as a pay parking lot. I go into the hotel and leave aprox 5:30pm and I was approach led by a very rude gentleman who demanded $20 to park there. I was not informed of it being a paid lot, there was no signage and he was absolutely rude to me and another gentleman trying to pull out of the lot, also unaware it was a paid lot. Your employee was not at his post to inform anyone of the cost of the lost and demanded money or treatened to call police and take photos of my plates. This is unethical and completely out of line. I payed the $20 because he refused to move from in front of my car. I would like to be reimbursed as I do not believe you can charge for parking without posting rates or having an attendant upon admittance. I feel taken advantage of. read more

They parked my car in a metered zone, I got a ticket, but didn't find out until after the ticket arrived to my house. $58 and I didn't even know. The valet driver took the ticket off my windshield before driving my car back to me. read more

It has been 12 months since the valet parking has lost my laser key to one of my vehicles a 2012 BMW 640i parked at Saddle Ranch, Hollywood. This valet Service was through Car Parks, Inc. at 9000 W. Sunset Blvd. Ste 1410 West Hollywood, CA 90069 (323-462-6060) One of the worst Valet services I have had the displeasure of knowing. When this situation occurred it had caused me much stress and inconvenience as I was not only locked out of my car, but also locked out of my estate with zero access to the property. Cameron Riahi, (general manager of Saddle Ranch) was instrumental in ensuring that I was transported to my estate and back. Thankfully my housekeeper that evening was home and was able to access me in to obtain my "spare" laser key. I then returned to the Saddle Ranch Sunset location to pick up my car. The following day I presented an invoice directly from Century BMW located in Studio City , Ca to Raffi the supervisor of valet. He assured me I would be reimbursed in full from the valet employee who lost the key. Since then the employee has left the company and Raffi seems to give me excuse after excuse, and when I approached him one night he started behaving disrespectful to me in front of patrons pulling in and out of the valet. I took it upon myself to obtain the owners information and discuss this with him. His name is Joseph Gharib (jgharib@carparkinc.com). He refuses to reimburse me for my key that his employee lost. He has also said he would look into the matter and call me back and he never did. I called him several times and was always told he was not in or in a meeting. This is one of the WORST businesses I have ever had to deal with and I would not recommend their valet services to anyone, as they do not keep their promise in getting your car key cost reimbursed when they do lose it. I would recommend you NEVER use their services. read more

I dined at the Geisha House in Hollywood for the first time after reading reviews on Yelp. In terms of the restaurant, I thought the decor was nice, and the service and food was good. However, I would not return based on the experience I had with the CarPark valet service outside the restaurant. I have invested a significant amount of money into my stereo and sound system and purposefully turn the system off prior to car washes, valets, etc. So it was surprising to have my car returned with not only the radio turned on to Spanish speaking station, but also with the speaker blown. I find it amazing that any valet believes it is necessary to tamper with vehicles while parking a car a mere meters away, but what was more amazing was the reaction of the manager (carlos) when I made a complaint. After requesting contact information for the company, I was publicly cursed out by the valet manager. And while I enjoyed myself and the food inside the restaurant, the behavior of the valet and the cost to repair the damage caused to my vehicle makes it highly unlikely that I will ever return. No patron should have this to worry about their vehicle while trying to enjoy a meal, and parking issues should never be a reason to avoid a restaurant...Overall very disappointed. I would advise any company considering use of this company to seriously reconsider. read more

I live at the Jefferson in Hollywood. I haved lived here going on three years never had a problem with parking. My mother comes to town uses my vehicle parks in a parking spot not assigned to me but one for the public. Less than hour goes by and my car is towed. No tagging my car, no leaving a warning or notifying. I was ur of town the day this happens come back to find my car gone and when I asked parking attendant they know nothing of anything. She calls her manager who knew nothing of it, finally I threatened to call the cops and low and behold they finally told me they towed my car. Then lied and said they tagged my car more than five times. Whats really sad is they knew it was my car it had my decal on the vehicle and they did it less than an hour of the car being parked. To top that off they towed my car to Culver City from Hollywood. I am filing in court today, but be very weary of this company, very shady! I have filed a complaint with better business Bureau and will have a day with them in court it looks like. read more
