THE DEETS: After researching a couple of local carpet places, I am so grateful that I found Elite. We were in the tumultuous process of trying to get new carpet installed within a very tight timeframe. Every place I checked did not have the carpet that I was looking for in stock and it would NOT arrive in time --but Alex at Elite assured me that he had what I wanted in stock or he could order/get it in time, if needed. I was super impressed by the first conversation with Alex because I had already spoken to a few other carpet places and had been getting the same responses from all the others --they would need to access the house to take measurements in order to give me an accurate estimate/quote ---which is NOT easily done when you're in escrow and the house is still occupied by the current owner. Alex assured me that he already knew the measurements because he has access to an exclusive database that contains that information. This was SUCH a relief and a huge game changer --with our challenging timeline, we were able to save a whole day and bypass an entire step in the process and it just made everything so much smoother. The installers were professional, thorough, and had great work ethic in getting the job done in a 3 day period. My wife is disabled and we had a couple of requests to help make life a little easier for her and Elite rose to the challenge to make it happen....also one closet was pretty intricate and they saw to that becoming reality with ease! The 3 bedroom closets also had their own obstructions that the installers did wonderful work to complete those tasks. Careful work installing all of the baseboard, caulking, and painting was all expertly cut as well. I tried getting as much furniture and other belongings out of the house prior to their visit, but with the bigger pieces too much for me to handle, without complaint, shifted the objects around to do their work. Installer Juan was also kind enough to assist me in moving my wife's queen sized adjustable bed and his supervisor, Jaime took time to inspect the work and did some finishing tasks as well before calling it a day. We are seniors residing in Sun Lakes and were in need for carpet replacement. We have been delaying it as we are physically not able to move our furniture for installation. We shopped with Home Depot, as it was near us, and to measure our rooms we would incur a $100 fee. I was advised I would have to hire additional labor to move out and replace furniture and could not guarantee it would be done on the day of installation. I found several carpet sellers on yelp and Alex Davari from Elite Carpet & tile in Loma Linda responded almost immediately. We arranged a meet at his store and were pleasantly greeted and were shown our options. I must admit, Alex is an extremely knowledgable and assisted us in our selection, pointing out pro's and con's of each carpet. We selected a Shaw brand "Pet friendly" carpet and padding. We explained to Alex that as seniors we were unable to move out the large pieces of bedroom furniture but would remove smaller items from the dressers and nightstands. He advised that he would send individuals that would remove the heavy furniture and replace after carpet was installed for no additional charge. Carpet was ordered and Alex kept us apprised of its delivery every few days. On the day of installation his crew (Tony & John) arrived on time (if not a little earlier than scheduled) and immediate set out to remove furniture from the 2 rooms, taking extreme care not to damage any furniture or walls. The Carpet was PROFESSIONALLY installed, not a single seam visible, and all old carpet and padding removed. They meticulously vacuumed and raked the nap and when done it was . PERFECT! I am beyond pleased with my floors from Elite and very grateful for Alex's help throughout the process! I just purchased my new home and wanted to make a few changes to personalize it to my style. It originally had this great tile and white carpet on the floors, but I wanted something different. After calling Elite, I came in to have a look at their selection. I didn't know what brand of tile was already on the floors, so I brought a leftover piece to the shop in hopes of finding a match. Alex was extremely helpful and informative throughout the process! He found me an almost identical match and had some great opinions for a transition piece to go between the existing and new tile. We discussed several options for vinyl flooring upstrairs and he explained the pros and cons of having specific types of flooring throughout the house. I ultimately decided to tile the carpeted area downstairs, replace the carpet on the stairs with something darker, and have vinyl upstairs for the bedrooms and hallway. I was looking to get carpet replaced at my house - I spoke to Alex, he was cordial and professional. I went into the store and met David, who was also nice. After speaking with David, a carpet was decided and everything seemed smooth. They had expected payment first, which I thought was odd given that I paid all other house-job work after the fact, but based on the good reviews about this company I felt safe about it so I went ahead with it and scheduled a date for the installation. Installation day: the installer was nowhere to be found so I called Alex and found out that the installation was never scheduled. I had taken a day off work to get this done and so the day was wasted. Alex did his best to reschedule as soon as he could, but they were only able to install on a day that I was unavailable so I handed over the key for installation without me there since I couldn't delay it further. The job was a duration of 2 days so the first day I wasn't able to make it, second day I was able to be there for the rest of the job. I expressed to Alex I wanted to be there to look at the job quality and note any inconsistencies that I found on the second day, Alex agreed to the second date. Communication hasn't been great at this point so before the second day installation, I called Alex to confirm and he said it could not be done and the installer was already finishing up. Okay. As I inspected the carpet after the completed job, there were so many spaces along the wall where the carpet was not secured and tacks were not flattened. Practically every step on the stairs I had stepped on the tacks. The carpet was also riddled with strands and extra fibers. Took me 2 hours to clean up since any kind of vacuum isn't able to effectively pick up the ends of the walls without using the handle attachment. Post Job: Alex never contacted me to see if I was happy with the installation NOR contacted me to schedule a time to return the key to my house. This made me feel VERY uncomfortable and was the last straw on top of the delays and lack of communication of status on the job. I called Alex once more to schedule the installer to come and do the fixes and I was done. This company is reasonably cheap in cost, but it's the exact definition of "you get what you pay for". No communication (I was always the one calling), no commitments (No concrete schedule), and little trust. read more

He is the only guy out of 5 tile places I called who proactively callled around to try to get the tile I need. Everyone else just said "we don't carry that kind/color of tile". After searching for a flooring company to renovate our home in Yucaipa, we were fortunate to find Elite Carpet & Tile.
