I could not update my last review, so here is a new one…read more Edit: the flooring has been completed now for one week. 50 Floor is not the company that came out to install the floor - it was a local contractor by the name of Ed Floors who works out of the Charlotte area. The team feathered in the new floor into the old, meaning that they took out a few boards from the old floor into order to get the new floor to flow as smoothly as possible. The material is similar to the type that was already installed, but the new material has more worm holes and noticeable defects -issues that are common with real oak but I do wish those specific boards were either not used or the holes patched as needed. Again, I understand the flaws are common, but the floors we were matching did not have these same imperfections. That said, the team did everything they could to ensure that the new floor was stained to a color I was content with. We tried many colors and the team remained patient with me the entire time, showing their level of detail for customer service. Even though I am disappointed with the material itself, I cannot overlook the patience and level of detail that the team had - 5 star experience with the subcontractor used! The work took 5 days, beginning on a Monday and finishing on a Saturday. In the photos, you can see the difference between the lip that was there before and is now gone. This is a 4‑star review based on the project's current progress. Kevin, my salesperson, demonstrated solid product knowledge and provided clear guidance. The scope includes replacing approximately 400 sq. ft. of LVP with natural hardwood and staining it on site to match my original 1990s oak flooring. The process will require the space to be cleared for 4-5 days. Although the payment structure--50% upfront and 50% at the start of work--initially gave me pause, the team assured me they will resolve any issues before finalizing the job. The quoted price was about $5,800 (after all the discounts), and the installation is scheduled for the week of May 4th. I look forward to seeing the completed work

We have pictures documenting the stain color we chose compared to how the stairs actually turned out, and the difference is very noticeable. We have been trying for MONTHS to get this issue resolved. IT HAS BEEN A MONTH SINCE OUR LAST COMMUNICATION. Despite multiple attempts to contact the company, we have repeatedly been given the runaround, and at this point, they have not made any effort to contact us or come up with a resolution. We paid for a finished product that we are unhappy with, and the lack of communication and customer service has made the situation even more frustrating. At this point, we simply want our money back for the work that was done to our stairs. We have been more than patient and have given them plenty of opportunities to make this right. Very disappointing experience, especially considering how much we invested in having our flooring and stairs done. After installation was complete he returned to inspect everything and went above and beyond to ensure our home was clean and in order to our satisfaction. David and his helper did a great job installing our carpet. They were very careful carrying long and heavy rolls of carpet through our home and upstairs (which included a very tight turn) without making a single mark on our newly painted walls. Our master closet had many contours along the bottom of our custom shelving units and and they tucked and fastened the carpet seamlessly. At the end of a long day they took the time to throughly vacuum all of the carpet AND cleaned up every little "fuzzy" off of our driveway (where they rough-cut the carpet prior to installation). We have been so delighted with our experience that we've decided to have Neo Flooring provide and install additional runners and an area rug to cover parts of our hardwood floors. I ended up going with another company, and this guy missed out on a 10k+ project because he can't communicate.
