Decided that it was time to get my carpets changed, so Carpets N More was my choice! A bit overwhelming when I saw the dozens of options they had to choose from. I thought it was going to be a breeze- Nope ! There were alot of steps to be taken to make the right choice ! Paul, Lyle and Steve were very attentive and accommodating through the entire process. Paul communicated with me throughout the measuring , guidance with picking a color, and when there was a slight delay in delivery. ( one day later) Steve gave his expertise about the texture, depth , comfort and durability of all of the carpets that would suit my budget and lifestyle. As I don't have any children, he recommended a lighter color, yet dark enough to withstand traffic areas. The carpet Technicians arrived promptly at 8 am , and worked nonstop throughout the day. They made sure that I was satisfied before they left. I've never had to choose carpets before, but I was very pleased with their customer service and dozens of options to choose from. At the end of everything, my house looks amazing, and most of all, I feel like I'm walking on clouds '- as Steve described how it would feel. And he was absolutely right! Overall I would not recommend this company for anything. We were given a timeline of 3 days to complete the house. It ended up taking over 3 weeks. Halfway through the project, they managed to flood my bathroom, allowing the water to go through 3 walls into my pantry. Then no one from the company showed up at all to inspect the issues, they weren't going to send anyone that day to clean up the flood until I started throwing a fit since it was going to cause mold damage. Carpets and More kept trying to say there wouldn't be an issue. (The contractor there filled up his 9 gallon shock vac a few times with water, which he did on his own, not because he was instructed by the company to.) They had to rip out all the flooring cause the water seeped under 200+sq ft. I find that the installation upstairs was poor- they did not lay the flooring in the right direction, prep the floors properly, or raise the toilets like they promised. One month after everything is finally done, I step down from my stairs and get poked by flooring that is already coming up. I kindly message our sales rep Bob to have it fixed. He responds that he'll have someone call from customer service. Week later no call, I send him a text again. No response... would highly not recommend this company. read more

Don't waste your time or money with this lousy company. My brand new home is still under the builders warranty(this is Lennar's contract) or I would call another company to fix the issue. First off the, the already installed window treatments are cheaply made and don't align properly at the base of the windows. Secondly, I've had 3 appointments for someone to come out to fix the issue. All 3 appointments have been no shows. After the second no show, I called and demanded to be the first appointment of the day since I was tired of waiting around during their window of 8am-12pm and wasting my whole morning. I was promised to be the first appointment and to be called the night before to confirm my appointment. I knew right away there was going to be another issue when I didn't receive the call prior to confirm my appointment. By 9:30am, I called to see where the installer was since he was suppose to be at my home by 8am. I got the offices voicemail but received a callback after 10 minutes and was told the driver was delayed at the warehouse but I was still his first appointment of the day. I explained that this was now the third appointment and I was going to leave a bad review. The person on the other of the line didn't seem to care and said to go ahead and leave a bad review. I hung up annoyed but STILL hopeful the installer would show up but he never did!!! Did they decide to cancel my appointment after saying he was still showing up or did this guy never make it to any of his appointments of the day ??? I ran into my Lennar contact on my street (mind you, I live in a new construction zone and my street is not completely built out) who inquired if the installer came. I told her no and that Lennar needs to find reliable company to fulfill their work orders. She informed me that this is a constant issue and they are under contract so there isn't much choice to go with another company. I'm pretty sure this company doesn't care about customer service, being reliable or standing behind their product. After all they have a HUGE contract with Lennar and are guaranteed work for god knows how many homes!!! My advice - Stay clear from this company if they can't give top notch service to big money making contract deal. Who's to say, that you would have better service with such a small job in comparison to Lennar. read more

These guys were awesome! They were on time, and they had the whole house (3-bedroom. 2-bath) done with the vinyl flooring in one day. They moved all the furniture outside in the yard and back in again when they were finished. At some point they accidentally broke a part of a glass tabletop and they did replace it for us a couple of days after the job was finished. The crew was one supervisor and about five Mexicans, who didn't speak much English but were excellent at what they did. The floor is beautiful and I would highly recommend them to anyone. My husband and I bought a DR Horton home 2 1/2 years ago. We were referred to Carpets and more for upgrades if needed. The carpet was fine. However, we ended up downgrading from the nice tile included in our price range to Vinyl flooring. The associate at the time noticed I was pregnant and she saw I was looking for something more child friendly. She recommended the Vinyl flooring due to it being softer than the tile and much more friendly for young children banging their heads. I asked in regards to spills if it would be affected and they stated not at all. They gave me specific instructions in regards to how to clean this specific flooring and I followed them to a tee.Fast forward during the installation I noticed a lot of errors. Which was fine they fixed them. The flooring was also strange around all my crown molding and floorboards. They also stated that was "normal" because it is a "floating floor", so it moves and shifts. Which to me is also very odd... the flooring is Mohawk would not recommend.Fast forward not even a year later we started getting lifting and bubbling in the flooring, which by the way was installed over concrete. I would also challenge the fact that I do not think they used a moisture barrier which is required when installing over concrete. We had a huge storm last July that a huge lifting and bubbling/rising probably 3 feet tall occurred near my screen door. I called Carpets N More and they said because of the storm and this type of flooring absorbs humidity and moisture. So that this was also "normal". When 3 feet rising occurs on a floor, I believe it can cause issues throughout the entire floor due to the shifting and improper movement that occurred! I then asked if someone could come to inspect. Which the lifting took over a month to subside. All they asked me for were pictures. Carpets N More never sent anyone to physically Inspect the flooring.Then 2 YEARS later someone finally came by to inspect the flooring!! What great customer service... lol I also had to follow up tons of times during the whole year it took for someone to come out. Which I don't think was good at all. It's like they didn't care about the problem, said everything was normal, and then boom it's our fault that a huge rising from underneath our floor occurred. It also was leaking air. Why would a storm cause this to happen indoors?? Because I do not believe Carpets N More was Installed properly, to begin with.Of course, then they want to put all the blame on us and nothing to do with their product, flooring, and or poor installation to begin with. They stated it was due to "tropical moisture", caused by the humans that live on it.Possible small spills by toddlers. No chemicals were ever used on the flooring as instructed. I dry mop the floor as taught and instructed.I strongly disagree with their inspector along with the responses that took a total of 2 years. He also had the audacity in the report to say that we spill drinks on our pool table billiards, referring to us frequently drinking... That is an assumption. Obv he does not know how to inspect and is going by a theory and bias in his head. Yes, little droplets get on the floor when doing dishes and putting them in the dishwasher. We remodeled 4 years ago and chose Carpets N More because their staff was so knowledgeable and always available. Last year we had a few installation issues and they came out quickly to check them out. This year, I had a few small areas where the tacking was coming up and a couple that needed a bit of stretching. Their customer service scheduler, Sandra, took down the areas of concern and immediately scheduled someone to come out to fix it. Carpets N More was one of the choices we had with our new home build. They do have a lot of options and nice show room. Our appointment was with Mariem and she showed us what our standard options were with the house. Of course we asked what upgrades were available and she showed us those options. She is very sweet and willing to help, the only thing was we didn't get very much help when we asked for suggestions. We aren't professionals, so when we were trying to match tile with carpet it was a little difficult. You can never really get the best "big picture" from just seeing samples. I wish they would've been a little more helpful or educated on what would look best. Another idea would be having a program that could show you what different options would look like. You don't want to wait until your home is complete and paid for everything before you realize nothing matches or goes together. Besides the confusion and run around we got with how we could pay, it was a little frustrating when we came to pay off our balance and the office didn't know how much was left to pay. Yes, we could've brought our paperwork, but we figured they would have the information in the system. We ended up waiting about 20 minutes in the office because they had to contact our Mariem, it was her day off. There should be a better way to find out how much we owed to pay off the balance then having to contact someone on their day off. It just feels once the sale and upgrades were made, the service quality declines. Again, we had two companies to choose from and this company had the better reviews. I truly thought we'd get better service from them. The fantastic customer service we got in the beginning was nowhere to be found after that first appointment. read more

We worked with them while purchasing our new house and they were one of the companies we could use to do our flooring and cabinets. First important thing, they only take appointments and no walk ins! Make sure you called ahead of time and schedule an appointment. They usually reserve a period of two hours for you so you can explore everything and have some assisting you and giving you their full undivided attention. They have a good selection as far as flooring goes and their prices are pretty good. As for the carpet, cabinets and countertops, I wasn't impressed but they do have a decent selection, a little small. If you have a two story house (+) I strongly recommend you to add their protection padding if you have pets or kids, it will protect all the wood under the carpet and won't let odors impregnate your house. It does work! My only complaint about this company is regarding their costumer service and installation. They won't return calls, no matter how many messages you leave; they won't talk to you about sealing your grout (which a lot of new homeowners know nothing about) and when it was time to install the cabinets they messed up in one of our doors so now we will have to have them come out and fix it. If you buy a house from Lennar, they'll tell you that you have no choice but to use Carpets N More for your flooring. Don't do it. Because they think you have no other place you can go, they'll act like they own you. Everything is overpriced. Service is atrocious. And their work is horrendous. You should just let Lennar install their basic flooring so you can close on your house without paying any extra. Then right after you close, find a better flooring company and hire them to rip out the flooring Carpets N More did and install your new flooring the right way. It'll be cheaper and less of a headache this way. You might have to delay moving into your house for just a little bit but it will be worth it. Unless you just want to have a floor where every other tile is chipped and/or have lippage issues, you shouldn't give Carpets N More a dime. read more

I've bought home from lennar, the one in spring mountain at 11/13. First, I upgraded my granite, I pay 3500. However, I didnt notice the granite are broken, there are more than 50 cracks and one part almost broken, it crack from the top side till the down side. I notice this after a week I stayed in my new house, I call lennar to come and see it, but what he said is oh sorry we do not warranty this. WHAT? I have paid $3500 for cracked granite?! he kept saying oh this is neutral stone, it happened. but this is not just small crack, it almost broken! if someone put their hands with a little bit pressure, it will crack and injure them. I asked for replacement, but they are not willing to do it. It cost them nothing! but this is how they treat their customer. Second, Their tile is such as a nightmare. I pay $9000 for that. They put pretty and nice tile in the model home and I decided to get the same one. But, what happened is they just do it randomly, they didnot pay attention to the pattern. It ended up with horrible and weird tile. They dont even care about it. All they want is take your money and give you bad quality things. DO NOT EVER DEALING WITH LENNAR AND CARPETS N MORE! read more

We do love the floors but the company didn't do the best job leaving patches of grout and leaving a haze over the whole floor. We bought a Lennar home in 2015 and were referred to Carpets N More for our flooring needs. We purchased the top of the line padding and upgraded the carpeting 3 grades. What we have now is carpet that crunches like you're walking in a barn on hay. Whats happening is the top of the line padding we purchased is crumbling up under our carpet.When I called Carpets N More I was told their warranty was one year. That Carpets N More may have installed the padding but it was the manufacturer responsibility to handle any defects of the padding. I was also informed that the company that manufactured the padding was no longer in business. So Carpets N More can hire bargain inferior manufacturers because they don't have to stand behind their work. If you can avoid shopping a Carpets and More I would do just that. My home was built and Carpets and More were used for the flooring so I needed to go back to them to get the same flooring because I wanted to hardwood up my staircase. Seems like an easy enough thing to do. However I did not like what the salesman chose for white risers and I asked for it to be returned for something that was nicer and easier to maintain. For some reason The salesman could not figure out what I was talking about. I waited and waited for them to come to install the steps but the salesman stated they couldn't do what I wanted. I have contacted someone else to do the labor and I've asked for a refund for the installation portion. I'm still waiting. I had my credit card company dispute the charge for the installation portion because this is been going on for sometime now. I still have the product I asked him to pick up that I no longer wanted because it was inferior and I'm still waiting for that as well. This has been going on since July. This is a horrible company to deal with. read more

The worst experience I ever had with a company that promises to make things right, I had some tile replaced and when the tech came out, he did the worst job I ever seen, I mean, I could have done the job better with my 5 year old, when the tech didn't cover and protect the areas in my home he was working in, he started to remove the old tile with a hammer, chips of tile flying all over the floor and in the tracks of my new sliding glass door, as he was hammering away, hits my brand new sliding glass door tracks and damages the tracks, he cuts the new tile to fit and he dry cuts the new tile, that caused chipping on the new tile, he installed it like that, after the install he doesn't finish the grout, the grout he did do, left grout haze all over my floor, he never cleaned up, he didn't vacuum any of the mess he left or wipe up any of the foot prints he left behind. I could not believe my eyes! Very unprofessional. Never again! Now I'm dealing with getting this replaced again and getting the runaround. No one seems to care. read more

December 21 Update: The representative I was working with for the last few months is no longer with the company and my experience has improved since this change. The tile becoming unavailable was a misunderstanding on their part - the tiles were actually available, but they were looking at the wrong tile. Since my initial review last month, my entire tile floor has been removed and the concrete has been prepped for a completely new installation, which is currently underway. The tile manufacturer (Marazzi) ended up declaring my original tile floor defective and shipping out replacement tiles of the same style for Carpets N More to replace. The new tiles had the same exact discoloration/die lot problems, and Marazzi allowed me to pick a new selection. Though I went through Carpets N More to purchase Marazzi tile, I've interacted with them and they have been awesome in their support of Carpets N More and myself. Overall, we're satisfied - though of course I wish the original installation would have worked out. It's an unfortunate experience for anyone to go through, especially since it took so long to begin working towards the resolution. However, progress is progress, and it will all be finished soon. read more

This place has no explanation of charges, we are buying a new house and they said we had two options and Carpets-N-More was one of them. We walked in the first day and didn't even get greeted. We looked around for 10 minutes or so and asked to setup an appointment for the next day. This is where it goes from bad to worse. The next day we come and sit down with our design agent. First of all their granite color was different from the color that our home company has and she swore it was the same but it wasn't... Then we walked the floor and selected a laminate flooring and tile for wet areas. She says these are good choices and will match well and also advised us the price was pretty good on them..... So we go and sit down in back as she goes to her desk to get a price. She comes back and the first thing she says is don't laugh.... So now we are thinking the worst. She says total price is 44k, this is with your credit for the basic not being installed. We were floored literally!!! I am not a dumb person like she thought... We asked why so expensive, she said I put your product into my computer and this is the price that comes up. That's $10 per Sqft I said and she said there is nothing she can do to this, sorry. Well sorry but due to your: 1. Lack of customer service 2. Inexperienced design lady 3. Non caring staff 4. Ridiculous prices 5. Lack of explanation 6. Costs that are 300% higher We will be using another company and we will be letting everyone we know that you guys are a ripoff! We had a company come in with 5 star Yelp reviews and do an estimate. This review is in regards to a recent follow up I have attempted to make with Carpets N More. I had wood floors installed back in 2012. Some of the planks have started to shift, which I am sure is due to happen over time (no problem). I contacted Carpets N More on Monday, April 8th to see if I can speak to someone in regards to the issue, and to see if it would still be covered under warranty. I have been in contact (if contact consists of you constantly emailing or calling, I suppose) with a lady by the name of Alexis. Alexis advised me on Monday that the job was no longer under warranty, after she was able to obtain my information..... ok, I understand. I asked Alexis if she would be able to send me a copy of the warranty *which yes, I suppose I should have a copy* via email, and she said sure. 2 hours go by...still don't have an email back. I called Alexis back saying I never received it, but if she could try sending it to my work email, which she did and I received. However, what I received was the invoice, NOT the warranty as I asked for! I then AGAIN called Alexis back, and she had to have her colleague assist me. Upon speaking to this gentleman, he advised me that he found this warranty, and was going to send it to me. Today I call back and now talk to an Alecia, who says she has to wait and speak to Lyle to review. The initial process back in 2012 was great, but as I am trying to do a follow up, this is by far the worst customer service I have ever experienced. read more

I would give negative stars if possible. How the heck are you a flooring store but cannot give me a price per sqft. Is your calculator broke or are you just that stupid. If you use this place even with a builder, do not do any up grade but if you do, do not pay in ful!l They will just roll it into the loan wither you want them too or not and return your money at closing. So take your upgrade money that you would have paid in full anyways and now add interest, there's your cost. All because idiots that work there have no idea what they are doing. I have a very detailed text ready to go that outlines my horrific experience with this company but it is too many characters to post here, so I will summarize. We were supposed to have a kitchen island installed, with quartz countertop, an overhang for seating, and four cabinets, roll out shelving inside. We began this project at the end of October 2020. The initial order was screwed up by a man named Larry Boyer who no longer works for the company. The cabinets we received in January were not what we ordered. They had center dividers and no roll out shelving. An order was put in to remedy this. A new set of doors and roll out shelves were ordered. When the new doors came (in February) they were the wrong design. Lyle, the man who took over for Larry said he would put an order in for the correct door. About 2 months later, those doors were received (April) and they were also incorrect. In fact, they were the same exact door as the previous door. A new order was out in for what is supposed to be the correct door. The doors were supposed to be installed July 22, and I was informed that they were lost somewhere at the warehouse. I got a call today what they have found the doors and install is planned for the first week of August. It is coming up on 10 months later and we still don't have the proper doors on our cabinets. In addition to this, we had issues with the initial cabinet install, the quartz slab we remanence we were promised was never received, and now I can't get in touch with anyone in a position of authority to vent my frustrations. Don't use them for any project, for any reason. What we have endured over the course of nearly a year is absurd. And it's still not finished! read more

If I could give them "0" stars I would. I have a new build and they are preferred vendor. They installed defective padding under my carpet that "squeaks" with every step. After 2 months of calls, texts, emails, muitliple visits to my home from supervisors and even an inspector from the State of Nevada- there still isn't an acceptable solution. I've had to take PTO to meet with all these people- hours away from work as they don't work in the evenings. I've had to accommodate for them, yet, I have no resolution. They hide from poor quality work - not to mention nails coming up through the stairs that caused injury and pain to my son and my dog..... they should be ashamed of themselves and I encourage the Builders here in Nevada to demand quality- as it's your reputation as well!!!!!!!!! #nothappy read more

Good variety, have to admit. The appointments time is unexpectedly inconvenient. They will schedule you from two to four weeks from the time you call. And if you work a normal business hours - forget about, unless you take a time off. This is a regular flooring store and yet they acting like they sell a Patek Philippe diamond watches. They work banking hours and closed Sundays. This is the first time I see when a carpenters and tile people are closed on the weekend. All it takes is just to call your shop a "Showroom" and you can do business as you wish and forget about customers convenience. Completely wrong business approach. We did come in three weeks as it was scheduled. The sales rep was in a hurry as we were unexpected. We all realized that we have a different taste in colors and design and the sales rep was more disturbing than helpful. She gave as an info about the warranty and pricing for per square footage. Questions about price differences and quality will not be answered. I'll get a brush off answer, like "well, it's more expensive, so it must be better". Overall, the store is clean. Not too organized. At times, it's hard to pull the sample from the shelf as they are leaning one on top of another. Salesperson will ask you to leave or drop you if they have another appointment to attend. So you can stay there alone or go make another appointment three weeks later. Be prepared to act fast. I don't recommend this shop if you want some help and confidence. You on your own there. read more
