I love coming here for many reasons. The bread tastes fresh and they give you oil for dipping, the salads and soup are both delicious, the food tastes like it was just made. I love the steaks but this time i had the fettuccine carrabas without mushrooms. I wish I liked mushrooms...but no. Hubs had the lasagna. The portions are huge and if i had known we were coming i definitely would have brought a cooler for the leftovers..and for the 10 dollar take home which let's you take a meal of equal or lesser value home for just 10 dollars! The seating here is comfortable and I love the old fashioned music playing in the background. The servers here are always friendly too. The only complaint is that once in awhile if we are seated on the bar side the service is extremely slow. Once it was almost 2 hours for what we expected to be a quick lunch. Still if you enjoy italian food and want a big step up from that place with the bottomless salad and breadsticks..this is a great place to go! read more

This will be my first and last time dining here. Unfortunately, the food was disappointing from start to finish. We started with the stuffed mushrooms, which were watery, while the stuffing tasted microwaved and overcooked. The calamari was just as bad--tiny pieces that were so heavily seasoned we couldn't even finish them. The grilled salmon was incredibly salty. I actually had to eat it from the bottom to try to avoid some of the seasoning, but after a few bites, I gave up. The Chicken Bryan was equally disappointing and extremely salty, and even the "sautéed broccoli" was strangely spicy. The kids' meals weren't any better. My daughter's mac and cheese tasted like tap water, and my son's steak, which was ordered medium-well, was so tough it was like eating a brick. There were several other issues with the meal, but these were the worst. It's pretty telling when the best part of your dinner is the bread basket and the drinks. That's where the one star goes. Side note: The salmon and Chicken Bryan were taken off our bill, which I appreciated. However, the manager was very defensive when we brought up our concerns rather than simply acknowledging that the dishes were not prepared well. While I appreciate that they removed them from the bill, the way our concerns were handled only added to an already disappointing experience. read more

Another excellent meal at Carrabbas! Our server was Michael, and he was outstanding! We ordered the Pistachio Crusted Trout, which I knew I remembered from somewhere - (it is a favorite of mine from Bonefish) and it did not disappoint!! I love the lemon butter at Carrabbas and the Trout was perfect! I got the Lentil Sausage soup for the first time in the well over 25 years since I have been going to Carrabbas. It is so good! Carrabbas Italian restaurant I have been a regular for years. The food is so Italian delicious. I love their bread n oil I could make a meal out of it n their wines I am partial to white but my person had the red. The chicken dishes are great n I love their bread meatballs n pasta's lentil soup a favorite also. Lasagna is great but I never get a big enough piece. So I don't order it now. 5 star experience! We stopped in since tavern in the square had an hour + wait and we walked in to Carrabba's and was Sat immediately! Cute little Italian place with nice music and black and white decor with AMAZING people! Gary was our server and was absolutely wonderful with lots of laughs and movie quotes. I ordered the GF scampi, and it was the best pasta meal I have ever had! So good that even one of my non GF friends ordered a dish with the GF pasta! The $10 take home deal was definitely worth it. We have been going to Carrabba's for over 25 years in different cities. It used to be fantastic. It changed a little about 15 years ago. Then it changed a lot 10+ years ago. The bread is still good. Last night, the salad was soggy with an excess of Italian dressing that wasn't tasty. The pasta had a different unlikeable flavor and was OVERCOOKED, MUSHY!!! The meat sauce was still pretty tasty. I'm VERY disgusted with the food, and will likely never return. The service was OK, and the manager was very accommodating. The chef has to go. read more

Stopped here today to grab takeout for someone currently in a rehab facility. He ordered the Chicken Parmesan. I tasted a few bites, and we both agreed it was very good. The other day my fiancé and I decided to take a trip out to Bedford, and have lunch at Carrabba's. It was our first time dining at a Carrabba's, plus we were celebrating my fiancé's birthday. Upon entering we were immediately greeted by a lovely employee. She seated us, and also ended up being our server. She was beyond kind, and so helpful. I mentioned to her we were first timers, and we're here celebrating a birthday. She told me she would do a nice surprise for him. Our food was delicious! My fiancé ordered a salad along with the fettuccine weesie. I ordered a chicken soup, and the classic trio (lasagna, chicken parmigiana, and fettuccine alfredo). Everything was remarkable. On the humble, yet enthusiastic, recommendation of my favorite uncle, I was implored to check this place out. And man...I'm glad I finally did. You see, I've actually had them bookmarked since the last time I visited NH. But as you know, there are so many places to try, yet so little time for yours truly. So, right as you walk in, you're greeted by an authentic Italian decorum. The dining area is spacious enough where it doesn't feel cramp. It might have been just because it was only moderately busy. Then again, they also seemed a bit short staffed because it took nearly 25 minutes before we got a real waiter. I believe one of the floor managers (or possibly hostess?) took our drink orders and mentioned something about the waitresses needing a chance to catch up. No biggie. I came here to wine n' dine--not chew n' screw. Carrabba's is genuine Italian cuisine; the type of place you come to eat slowly whilst enjoying friendly conversation with friends and loved ones. And that's precisely what transpired here. Tonight, I started things off with the Caesar salad with grilled shrimp, with the shrimp and scallop linguine for the main course. Though, I'll warn you now: when you see this menu, you're gonna have a difficult time deciding what to eat. Because there were at least 5 or 6 things I'd try outright. It took me almost 15 minutes to narrow down my selections. And I'm usually a pretty decisive guy. The grilled shrimp were out of this world delish! An excellent compliment to any Caesar salad. Plus, the salad itself was perfectly dressed, not too tangy with crisp, fresh lettuce. Only problem is the waiter initially forgot the shrimp. So, I would have liked to know how the presentation of the food would have looked otherwise. I'd give it a 9 out 10. The shrimp and scallop linguine was pretty damn good. Not perfect, mind you....but the complaints I have are so minor, it's barely a deterrence from tasting this dish. For one thing, there was WAY too much pasta! Seriously. After I finished all the seafood (which was delectable as f*ck, btw), I slid the other 12 ounces of pasta over to the waiter and rest him assured that no to-go box would be necessary. I mean...it's not like I could take it on the plane with me anyway. Now, the more significant critique I have with this dish is the seasoning. Not that it didn't have any. But it could have used a touch more salt. Although, the freshly grated Parmesan cheese definitely helped the whole thing come together irregardless. Like I said, the complaints are minor. Overall, I enjoy the heck out of this dish! A solid 8 out of 10 for me. Anyone that goes to Olive Garden and thinks they're genuine Italian cuisine needs to get the taste slapped out their mouth. Then, come here and eat. This is Italian food done right. I've already made sure this will be a frequent revisit upon my next trip up to NH. As I said earlier, there are still quite a few dishes left for me to try. I also made sure to take better photos of the menu so you all could see what the fuss is about.
