We love Rocco's food! We eat there at least twice a month! Yummy pizza and salads and sides! Great service.

I've been ordering from Rocco's Pizza Bar and Grill for at least 15 years now, and I can honestly say they never disappoint. Pretty much every time, I go for a pizza--and my all-time favorite is their spinach and feta pizza with mushrooms added. It's absolutely incredible. The crust is just right--crispy, flavorful, and so good I can't stop eating it. I could probably put away a whole 12" by myself without thinking twice! The ingredients are always fresh, and the flavor combination is perfect. Whoever's making the pizzas back there clearly knows exactly what they're doing. It's honestly a wonder how places like Papa Gino's are still around when Rocco's is serving up this level of quality. Our family has ordered from this place on many occasions and place large orders all summer long just about every weekend in August and September to feed our employees. We placed an order the other night and this is what my sandwich looked like. I tried sending them an email as I hate blasting people in public so I sent a Facebook message on messenger. Someone saw the message and never even responded. There is no good excuse for this. I will think again before ever ordering from here again and we certainly will NOT recommend this place. read more

We went to Rocco's for the 1st time and did not expect the food to be so delicious! My husband had to Jambalaya and enjoyed it very much. I had the Angus burger which was delicious as well. Even the Caesar salad was tasty and delicious! Even our waiter Patrick was awesome! He was fun and at our beck and call the whole time checking on us frequently to make sure our needs were met and we were enjoying dinner! We will definitely be returning to Rocco's very, very soon! Came with a large group of 12 and they were very accommodating and efficient! Our food came out quick and right which is hard to do with that many orders. They even did separate checks for us! I got the teriyaki chicken salad which was pretty good, chicken was a little dry but decent. I would def recommend the stuffed peppers, I tried someone's and they were amazing. The burgers and pasta dishes looked good too. For dessert we got the fried donuts which were pretty good but kinda greasy and I didn't care for the cinnamon on them, would prefer the chocolate sauce which I heard they do. The food has gotten so over priced! I've been coming here for 14 years I know inflation but seriously. I used to come with my husband we would get 4 drinks a large pizza and a dinner mabey $80 now 2 drinks each same dinners cost $120. Their "rewards" program is non existent now. You have to spend like $400 bucks in I week to get $10 off next visit before it expires! We don't go there anymore but the food was pretty good. read more

The space was redone and expanded, which has a takeout counter, bar area (former Pizza Man dining area) with TV, and now offers full service dining in the new dining room, which is fully carpeted with new tables and booths and an antique fireplace. Free wifi is available. Rocco's serves up traditional hand tossed thin crust pizza (9"-12"-16"-18") and deep dish pizza (16"). Besides the pizza, they offer calzones (with ricotta), sandwiches, wraps, angus burgers, appetizers, grilled items, salads, pasta dinners, steak tips, shepard's pie, chicken fingers, beer battered shrimp, and desserts. Pepsi products are offered here. The bar offers draft and bottled beers and a wine list. Also, a new menu should be implemented in the coming week(s). I stopped in here for dinner recently and sat in the dining room, which was moderately busy with couples and families dining in. I started out with a Small Onion Rings ($3.49), which were crispy thick battered onion rings, slightly greasy and pretty good! The basic side salad (included with my dinner) was fresh which had a mix of crispy lettuce, green peppers, cucumbers, onions, shredded carrots, and a cup of tangy balsamic vinaigrette on the side. For dinner, the Lobster & Shrimp Spaghetti ($11.99) was very rich tasting, which was a dense mixture of tender shrimp & chunks of lobster meat, pepper jack cheddar sauce tossed with al dente spaghetti, served with baked buttered garlic bread. I passed on the offer for dessert since the food was filling and I already bought some cookies from Klemm's, a few doors down. The service was pretty good with the waitress and manager taking turns bringing out my food in a timely fashion. At the same time, the manager was also running the takeout counter. Overall, Rocco's Pizza Bar & Grill is definitely an improvement to the former Pizza Man, which now offers an appealing food menu, reasonable prices, and a comfortable sitdown dining room (someone else does the dishes). We are regulars at ROCCO's. Good food, good selection, and great service...... until this week. They have taken many items off the menu and are somewhat inflexible to the customer's requests. They have always served haddock, either fried or baked. For some strange reason.......only fried now. So my wife can't eat it fried. So no more haddock. They discontinued ribs due to cost. Just charge more! No more shepherds pie. No more scallops. And they are more concentrating on take out than in-house dining. Our food took 50 minutes to come out due to the large takeout business. And no offer to take any money off. Our friends that we sat with got their food, and finished before my wife and i received our food (our friends did order 10 minutes before we did). But 50 minutes? We may be looking for another "regular" place to go if things stay this way. read more

I just ordered take out. Originally ordered a Turkey Club and a Scallop dinner. Lisa the current manager said they could not make a turkey club from the girl answering the phone. Called after the order was delivered asked for LISA. Said it took three lines to make a turkey club and the could not do it on a busy night. Bread, Turkey, and Cheese, takes three lines? Scallops were good and fresh. No ketchup for the fries and no cole slaw either. I have been a patron for decades, long before it changed from Connies. Over 30 years. So you can't say I've put up with the disappointments. The current changes from the management perspective are not helping. Please correct and make better decisions. We have our new local spot! Have lived in the area for a couple years and had never heard of them as we're on the other side of town. Haven't been thrilled with many of the local places, so went to Google and zoomed out a bit. Saw Rocco's and thought why not give it a try? Fantastic! Excellent food, great value, outstanding staff. Rocco's is a good family friendly restaurant. I was there at 6 on a Saturday night and there were several other families with small children. Our server was super friendly. My son had the kids Mac & cheese. He loved it, but it was literally Kraft Mac & cheese. My husband and I shared the chicken Parm grinder and a small sausage, pepperoni and onion pizza. Both were just ok. The pizza really wasn't that great, especially compared to other local options. The beer list (both draft and bottle) was pretty unremarkable. read more

I have ordered from many places in Hudson, tonight was the first time from Rocco's. I've heard good things and wanted to try it for myself. Everything I heard was true. Tonight we ordered Chicken Parm, a pizza, side of Cole slaw, and fried dough bites. Everything was delicious. The pizza was amazing, great dough, fresh toppings, and savory sauce. The chicken parm was better than I've had in Italian restaurants with tender, nicely prepared chicken and pasta. The fried dough bites are a great way to finish off a meal.. taste like what you might get at the fair.. only better. I can honestly say I think I found my new favorite place for dinner. The Pizza is well made and the sauce is not too sweet like many local shops. Restaurant side is good for families and there is a separate bar area if you're looking to relax with other adults. There are also a few high tops in the dining room that are nice for couples. Service is always attentive. Tried this place after hearing was pretty good. Not so great. The bar service was, for lack of a better word "moody". I asked for a slight variation to my meal and was told that they were unable to accommodate me. Then I looked over at the person across from me, and they had exactly the item I was asking for. I guess we'll have to try coming on a day when her mood was better or maybe because we're not considered regulars it didn't matter to them. I want to give Rocco's 4 stars where it should be but with the recent mistakes that keep happening on our take our orders I dropped to a 3. I do like the food and prefer to call them than some others in the neighborhood but the last 3 take out orders I'd been bothered by a couple of things. Last two of three take out I got the scallops, first time they didn't bring tarter sauce, something I like with my scallops. Next Delivery I asked for extra tarter sauce and they delivered none again. I complained and they said next delivery they comp $10 but that didn't happen tonight This time we get a meatball calzone for the first time which has no meatballs just bread. I like the pizza, my wife likes the steak and cheese both are very good. Ate a few times at location also good. read more

A restaurant that truly cares about their customers! After eating in and taking out about a dozen times and being very dissatisfied on multiple occasions, I was eager to reach out to the owner of the establishment. First off, his response was not only prompt but very sincere. He wanted Myself and my family to give them another opportunity and we accepted his generous offer. After going back now two times since originally reaching out, we have received amazing service and the food has always been exceptional! It is by far my sons favorite pizza! Oh, yummm! I have been passing this place by for a while, now, thinking it was just a little pizza dive that probably wasn't worth my time. Boy, was I wrong! Since leaving PA, I have been searching for a pizza that wasn't thick, wasn't chewy, wasn't laden with sweet sauce and heavy toppings. I had nearly given up on ever finding such a repast ever again -- until my hubby and i stopped in at Rocco's last night. What a bargain! Large pizzas start at $10.99 -- we got it topped with onions and sausage. As the waitress approached the table with our pie, I knew we had a winner. The crust was light and airy -- full of bubbles from the yeasty goodness. Slightly charred and very crispy on the edges without being hard and chewy. This is a crust that you definitely WANT to finish! The sauce was savory and full of wonderful Italian flavors, but it didn't overwhelm the toppings -- lovely stringy mozzarella, savory slices of Italian sausage, and rings of sweet onion. The large was more than enough for dinner for two with a few slices left to take home. Londonderry friends, be sure to drive a few miles out of your way for GREAT pizza! Tonight was my first time ordering food from Rocco's and I'm impressed. The pizza in Hudson has been a big disappointed to me, but Rocco's is a winner. I got the Spicy Spinach Pizza, which is baby spinach, garlic, crushed red pepper, mozzarella, feta, olive oil and a drizzle of red sauce. It's the best of a white and red pizza in one, with a nice bite to it. The crust is thin crust, with just the right amount of chew. I will be ordering from here again. My 20 yo son and his friends swear by this place. They love the pizza, subs especially the burger and bacon, and I really like the boneless sweet and spicy tenders... such a good bite. I figured I'd try the toasted tuna with provolone, pickles, tomato, and onion. This was great. I had to add a little mayo to the bread only because I forgot to ask for it. The small is big! I'm not complaining, just is. And they didn't over stuff with tuna, which is good because that can be messy and wasteful. A good quality sandwich. I was looking at the Yelp pics and was surprised to see elevated dishes. So it looks like we may need to go beyond the pizza, sandwich fare. Next time he's on school break! We needed something other than turkey. This place did the trick. Oh and delivery was quicker than quoted. Always pleasant. The spicy fries are really good, not greasy, just right. As a New Yorker, my pizza tastes are very picky. Rocco's was cooked fast and the price was decent, but our cheese pizza just had no flavor. The sauce had no kick, the cheese was overly processed and tasteless, and the crust tasted of flour with no salt or seasoning whatsoever. I had to put way more garlic and red pepper on the one slice I had just to make it anywhere better. Our waitress was also somewhat rude. We were having a conversation about something where one of us said something to the effect of, "God, that sucks!" I guess she thought we were talking about the food (which we weren't) and turned on her heels after saying, "Well SORRRRRY." The nice thing is that Rocco's prices are fair, their menu has good variety, they have a full bar with a TV, and the jalapeno poppers we ordered were really, really good. read more

Rocco's is a great place to eat in or carry out. My husband and I moved to the area 3 years ago and we frequently find ourselves ordering food from here. We particularly LOVE the pulled pork potato skins, buffalo chicken pizza and the chicken fajita salad. Those are just a few items we love, there are definitely more to list. Total townie joint. SB and I went here with a few friends for dinner. One thing I enjoyed thoroughly is that the pizza is NOT Greek style, which is an overwhelmingly prevalent style in this area. The crust is relatively thin, the sauce more savory than sweet. Our table ordered garlic bread which comes in pizza form (tasty), two pizzas, and a few beers, all coming in at under $60. The. Price. Is. Right! The service was good. Our server definitely had her hands full and had no problem staying on top of things for us. Seating is relatively limited, especially in the bar.
