Tonight My wife and I recently ordered from Carrabba's on Vineland Avenue, and unfortunately, what should have been an enjoyable dinner turned into a very disappointing experience. When we arrived at 6:05 PM, I could see through the app that our order had been ready and bagged at 6:00 PM. We parked in the designated curbside pickup spot, selected our parking space number, and checked in as instructed. We then sat in our car waiting for someone to bring out our food. After more than 15 minutes had passed, we noticed another customer waiting for a takeout order. They eventually went inside and returned moments later with their food, shaking their head in frustration. Seeing that, I decided to go inside myself. When I entered the restaurant, I found the takeout attendant simply standing there. I informed her that we had been waiting for our order, and she immediately walked around the corner and grabbed our bag, which had apparently been sitting there the entire time. What made the situation even more frustrating was that the restaurant was nearly empty, so there was no obvious reason for such a long delay. By the time we got home, our food was cold and needed to be reheated before we could eat it. For the amount of money we spent, it felt like part of the dining experience was wasted due to simple negligence and lack of attention to the curbside pickup process. The disappointing service overshadowed what was otherwise good food. My Chicken Bryan with garlic mashed potatoes was flavorful and delicious, and my wife's Chicken Fettuccine was also very enjoyable. The portion sizes were generous, and under normal circumstances we would have thoroughly enjoyed the meal. Thankfully, this seems to be a rare occurrence, but it was still frustrating enough to impact our overall experience. I hope management addresses the curbside pickup process because customers shouldn't have to wait over 15 minutes for food that has already been sitting there ready to go. We're willing to give Carrabba's another chance, and hopefully our next visit will be much smoother. read more

I've literally never seen my 4 year old eat more. The kids meals are great here. My 4 year old absolutely scarfed down her cheese ravioli, and my 2 year old was a tremendous fan of the spaghetti and meatballs. For adult food, it's chain Italian. Soo ya know, just ok. The chicken parm was decent though, as was my side of broccoli. I also really enjoyed the cesar salad, though the dressing was extremely garlic heavy. Service was great. We loved the big wine pour, and we especially loved the chocolate cake for dessert. Yes there are cooler places to eat in Disney, but when you are hungry during a rainstorm sometimes you can't beat an easy place that's close to your hotel. Carrabba's definitely delivered! read more

Very efficient system they've got for ordering online/curbside pickup. My friends and I ordered this for dinner to carbo load the night before running the Disney marathon. It's a quick 8 min ride or so off Disney's property and it's surrounded by a whole plaza of other restaurants, gas stations, convenient stores, etc. I give them credit because as we were pulling in to pick up our order, I spotted a Friendly's. If you know me, you know I love Friendly's. I went there after running the race lol. Anywho, the pickup process was super simple. Didn't even have to step a single foot outside the car. They texted us when our order would be ready, we pulled in, and texted saying we're here. We ordered from here twice, and both times our order came out within 5-10 min. Not bad! I ordered the spaghetti with a side Cesar salad. The pasta was fine, maybe since it was takeout that makes it different from eating it in person, but I didn't loveeee the red sauce. The portion was huge so that helped with carbo loading which was nice. Highlight was the salad honestly. Delicious Cesar dressing and it came with fresh lettuce and croutons. We came in December for a family dinner while visiting Orlando. Most of the others in our party had visited a Carrabba's previously, however this my son's and my first visit. Our service was great. Out server was very friendly and very accommodating. Our drinks did not remain empty for long and he made sure we had as much bread as we wanted. BTW, the bread and olive oil with herbs was my favorite part of the meal. I ordered a trio that came with ravioli, steak and chicken with goat cheese. It came with a soup or salad and I was told there was a polenta soup so I decided to try that. The soup was didn't seem to be polenta, it seemed more like lentils, it was good, even thought I don't normally care for lentiils, but the flavor was nice. The main dish was fine. The steak was under cooked but no biggie. It was very tough so it was probably a good thing it was under cooked. The pasta didn't have much flavor to me and the chicken with the goat cheese and sundried tomato was ok. Honestly, I think for the price it was just OK. I would probably visit Carrabba's again if family wanted to visit, and I would find something else to order. It was okay, but I was not blown away. The service was great though. read more

The service provided by Dan was exceptional. He was extremely attentive even from afar. He did not let our water glasses go empty. He had more bread brought to our table before we could ask for more. He continuously cleared our tables. Now onto the food! I tried the Branzino with pesto and sun-dried tomatoes. I was expecting a typical green pesto but the sauce was very different but very flavorful. My daughter ordered the Fettuccine Carrabba and the portion was huge. We all tried her Alfredo sauce and it was light and not creamy and thick which made it much more easy on the palette. My husband ordered the Shrimp and Scallop Linguine alla Vodka and he loved every bit of it. The restaurant was clean, warm and inviting. It had nice mellow music in the background. The fact that we had delicious wine with our dinner that cost us $43 a bottle and found it in the stores for less than $10 was very upsetting. The food was great the service was great but the fact that the mark up was this high was unacceptable. Lesson learned. read more

4 1/2 stars. This is not my first time dining at this particular Carrabba's, but I haven't reviewed them before. We were seated immediately when we arrived early on a Saturday night. We decided on the Classics Combinations appetizer: fried mozzarella sticks (good), stuffed mushrooms (pretty good) and fried calamari (good crunchy breading, not thick or greasy, but on the bland side.). Entree was the Pollo Rosa Maria, chicken breasts stuffed with prosciutto and mozzarella in a mild lemon sauce with mushrooms: delicious. I chose the Parmesan truffle fries, which I loved: crispy, plenty of Parmesan and herbs, well-salted. We finished sharing a generous portion of the Chocolate Dream. The description said it started with a chocolate brownie, but it was much softer than that, with chocolate mousse and whipped cream. Just wonderful. Service was good. read more

Great Happy Hour!!! Carrabba's is currently offering Happy Hour specials everyday at the bar. Not only are there drink specials, but there are plenty of food specials as well. So even if u don't drink alcohol, u can still enjoy the Happy Hour!!! The plan going in was to order all Happy Hour specials. I didn't know what several things were but when I looked them up, a lot of it was served on some type of bread. So then I considered a regular entree but then decided to stick with the plan. The Calamari, the Mezzaluna Fritte, and the Vegetable Foccacia were all good. Loved the two sauces with the calamari, one of them had a really nice kick. The truffle Cacio e Pepe was okay, it needed a little help, could have been the choice of noodle, it was very dry. Drinks were amazing. They were out of the passion pear spritz which I really wanted, but the Pomegranate Martini definitely didn't disappoint! The Blackberry Sangria was another tasty choice! I didn't get to try the charcuterie board with 2 glasses of wine for $25 but it's a good deal and it looked good. My bar neighbor had ordered it. We stopped going to Oliva Garden several years ago because they no longer served veal parmigiana. For years Carrabba's has had excellent Italian food and the best veal parmigiana. We recently went to Carrabba's and I ordered veal. The waiter took the order and came back and told me they stopped selling it. He believed it is because of the way the animals are treated. He mentioned they had chicken parm. I wonder if they ever seen chickens being truck down the road in cages or prepared for their demise. We were visiting Orlando and had reservations at Disney Springs at an Italian restaurant but it was pouring rain and there were no parking spaces left there, so we had to cancelled our reservations. My husband and I and our friends were in the mood for Italian, so we decided to see if we could get into Carrabba's even though it was a chain restaurant. We were seated immediately and I must say the atmosphere was very much like a genuine Italian restaurant. The waitress Mae was so helpful and well versed in her menu and explained everything to our friends who never had been to a Carrabba's before. I ordered a Pomegranate Martini, which was the best I've ever had and done perfectly and so was the Old Fashioned our friends had. I ordered the Chicken Parmesan, my husband had the Chicken Piccata, my girlfriend had Lasagna and her husband had the Chicken Parmesan as well. Our drink came and then our salads came, but it seemed like quite awhile before our entree's came. Entrees finally arrived and they were warm, not hot, my friends husband said they had been sitting for quite some time because he saw them sitting there. We mentioned it to our waitress and she immediately offered to take them back but we said " no" we would eat them. Then the manager, I think her name was Brissy, came over and couldn't apologize enough, even offering to make us new ones. We thanked her immensely but said we would eat them but thanked her again. When our waitress brought our check, she did tell us that the manager took care of our meals; when we saw the check we understood exactly what the waitress meant. We definitely made sure to leave a good tip for Mae and thanked the manager. We were extremely satisfied with the entire experience. Having been a restaurant manager at one time I was more than pleased with way things were handled and feel the manager did things the way I would've done or perhaps better than I would've done and deserves the accolades for handling a touchy situation without any hesitation. That shows me that she treats this restaurant as if she owned it herself. We will definitely return here when we are back here in a few weeks and hope more people enjoy this restaurant that truly cares about its customers and offers quality and great food. read more

Carrabba's is one of our family favorites. Tonight we dined in and my husband and I took advantage of happy hour and ordered a blackberry sangria each. It's my favorite, so good. I wish our server told us about the discounted appetizers during happy hour. Everything was great (Spaghetti Bolognese with meatballs and the chicken trio with steames broccoli) except for the Fettuccine Weesie I ordered. One of the reasons I wanted to dine in was because the last 2 or 3 times we did carry out, my go-to, Fettuccine Carrabba was bland and noodles were overcooked. Well, I ordered the Fettuccine Weesie thinking it would be better, but it was the same way tonight. This won't stop me from eating at Carrabba's, but next time, I'll have to remember to steer clear of the fettuccine dishes. read more

Hi so, I just thought I would share my most recent experience ordering food from this restaurant. So my birthday recently passed and my mom offered to get me a special meal for my birthday which was somewhat delayed but ended up taking place last night. I decided for my special meal I would like to order from this restaurant the item called Rigatoni Martino. On the DoorDash picture, there is quite a few good sized mushrooms and a decent amount of meat, which is chicken on the picture. When I received my order, no joke, there were 4 tiny mushrooms, (I counted even after digging through all the pasta!), and there were maybe 7 small pieces of sausage throughout the entire dish. Nothing like how the picture shows. Anyway, I would not recommend getting this dish unless you plan to incorporate your own additions which is what I did; I am going to include a before and after pic, however, keep in mind, the before pic is after I ate some, which means I ate like 3 mushrooms, maybe 4 pieces of sausage, and like 10 of the pasta. Also, I just wanted to add, the overall taste was somewhat bland, so what I added was sautéed mushrooms, sausage, fresh oregano, salt, and pepper. They had a combo meal deal going, and was told we get a free appetizer on top of that if we signed up for their rewards program, which we did. They literally served the appetizer the same time as our soup and salad. The crab cakes were dry , little sauce, and tasted like they were sitting around for a long time on a warmer. The sausage lentil soup was good. I was disappointed they took all the veal dishes off the menu. Had the lasagna which was served lukewarm. Wife had the salmon dish with a tomato type sauce. This was a small portion and dry. Between jamming our food on us, when the place was not at all busy (ie trying to turn tables), and it being unappetizing and dry , we decided we would not be back. We recently passed through Ocala and stopped at the Carrabba's on SW College Road. We have lived in many areas and travel a lot and have dined at many Carrabba's locations. The stop in Ocala was special. I can truly say the service and food provided was a clear step above every other Carrabba's location we have enjoyed. Our waitress (Lee - from NJ) was superb, personable, and professional. The manager (Bethany) came by and spoke to us for a while and was a perfect hostess.
