The food and staff were amazing. We stayed here during our kid-free trip to Orlando. This is much closer to Kissimmee. Anywho! After venturing out for food a few nights we were actually tired of hopping in Lyfts so we opted to dine at the hotel , which already had great reviews. Ambiance very relaxing when you first enter and throughout your whole experience there. Dimed lights and relaxed settings. It felt like dining on a cruise. The staff was very nice and they did receive us in a professional way. Wait time was about 15 mins. Food was absolutely delicious! The pasta I ordered I did however sprinkled a hint of salt. I personally felt it needed just a hint more. But it was delicious. The nuttiness of the butter with the cheese and white wine paired very well. The vegetables added a nice crunch and flavor to the pasta. My husband's beef tips meal was also very delicious. The sauce went well with the vegetables that were cooked to perfection! Food; salmon w vegetables, salmon was cooked just perfectly to not be over dry and tons of flavor over rice. Beef tips were tender and juicy. Ribs literally fell off the bone they were so moist. Our to-go included a burger, cooked just how we wanted, nice soft bun, crisp fries with it. The cheese pizza we got was not a cheap thrown together pie, but was flavorful and cooked perfectly. The kids spaghetti had nice thick sauce not a cheap runny tomato sauce Restaurant would easily go up to 5 stars if service was a little faster. Calamari rings are truly only rings here. No tentacles. Don't expect nice service during covid. Your food is provided in these styrofoam boxes while dining in. You get plastic utensils too. No tablecloths used, tables sat at were beat up. Vegetables were a little undercooked imo, and should have just a bit of salt. They seemed almost entirely unseasoned to me. read more

Food is AMAZING! I tried the flatbread for lunch and steak bites for dinner. Every employee is so friendly and has amazing customer service. The only issue is it takes a long time to receive your food and your bill. I recommend asking for your bill when the food is delivered. At lunch, it took over 30 minutes to be delivered food and when I was done there was no one in site for my Bill for over ten minutes. I would recommend for food however be prepared to be awhile. I have only been here one time and am basing my review solely on this visit. When I go back I will update my review accordingly. Fabio was my server and he was super friendly. We are both from New York so we had that commonality from the start. Although he is a fairly new employee, he provided me with excellent service. After a long day at SeaWorld I was tired and hungry and I didn't want "park food" again. I'll write a another review later on the "all day dining pass" I purchased at SeaWorld. I was lazy and the hotel restaurant had good reviews so I figured I would give it a try. Although my dinner was not wonderful, I will definitely be back. The menu prices are fair and the dining room is charming. The food didn't impress me but I wasn't expecting to be "wowed" in the Embassy Suites dining room. The soup of the day was chili which is a favorite of mine so I ordered a cup ($6.00). It had a nice amount of meat and beans in it but lacked any real flavor, not even a hint of heat or any type of seasonings typically used in chili. It wasn't served with any bread or crackers so I asked Fabio to bring me some crackers. I also asked for hot sauce but they didn't have any. The saltines were stale and I was disappointed. I didn't eat very much and it wasn't removed from my bill and I was so tired I didn't feel like questioning it. I couldn't decide between the burger or the popcorn shrimp appetizer and Fabio said he loved the shrimp so I went with his recommendation. Wow, my appetizer of popcorn shrimp ($9.00) was enormous. The shrimp were definitely out of a bag (which I expected) but they were nice and crispy. They were very good BUT.... I had to request lemon and the cocktail sauce had no zip. It really tasted like ketchup. Fabio brought me some lemons and that helped. I asked him for some horseradish so I can add it to their version of cocktail sauce and they didn't have that either. Considering horseradish is an important ingredient used in the preparation of cocktail sauce I was very surprised. I asked for tartar sauce and they didn't have that either. Wow, no horseradish, hot sauce or tartar sauce in the whole restaurant??? I did eat several of the shrimp and I enjoyed them but I would have enjoyed them even more with some decent cocktail sauce. I had so much left over but I had to leave it because the next day I was leaving. I think the restaurant should pay more attention to the little details that can make or break their customers dining experience. For example; horseradish would have been a quick fix for my cocktail sauce. The saltines could have been fresh, little things like this are the reason for only three stars. I absolutely loved the hotel and will returning soon. I will eat in this restaurant again and hopefully next time will be a better experience. Or, I will smuggle some of my own condiments in and really enjoy my meal. I sat at the bar after dinner and had a great time. The bartender made me a delicious Pina Colada and I was happy. read more

It was our first stay at the Embassy Hilton Hotel Lake Buena Vista South and wanted to try the Kyng's Grill Restaurant that is inside the Hotel. The food advertised looked so delicious. My family and I really enjoyed the service from Estefany. She made us feel really welcomed and was very nice and was well knowledged in their food/ drink selection. The food was absolutely amazing. My husband and I entertained a client at Kyngs Grille, just after checking into the Embassy Suites, Lake Buena Vista South on Kyngs Heath Road. We were seated promptly and our waiter was very friendly and attentive. We were able to use a Groupon, which gave us, two appetizers, four entrées and four glasses of wine for $82. It was well worth it! For our appetizers, we chose a double portion Ahi Tuna. There was more than enough for four. For our entrées, we had meatloaf and mashed potatoes, NY Strip steak with a side of roasted vegetables, and two chose the grilled salmon. Every dish was delicious. Nothing was left on our plates. We barely had room for the fabulous dessert afterwards. But somehow we managed to eat it all! Later that night, we stopped by the bar, just before they closed the kitchen. We ordered chicken wings, the Tuscan flatbread, and a couple of drinks. Both appetizers were delicious; however, the flatbread had to be sent back for a bit more toasting to get the crust a little firmer. Our bartender was very kind and took good care of us. Fabio was a most excellent waiter, during our dinner and the restaurant manager even helped out my pouring our wine. Great job everybody! Would definitely recommend dining in this hotel restaurant. After a long day at Epcot, our family was famished but no one felt like getting dressed up for dinner. As we were walking in to the hotel we decided to order room service from Kyng's. It was a great idea, we ordered several dishes and they were all fantastic. We were not expecting to love the food. Even the kids loved it and the prices are very reasonable. The young lady that delivered our food was very charming, our food arrived promptly and followed up with a call to our room to make sure that we were happy with our meal. We all agreed that we will dine from Kyng's again before we go back home. read more

My family and I came to this restaurant because our friends had a room there. It was a very good idea for us to have dinner with them there. The service and food was very impressive for a small hotel setting. We were very surprised by the quality of food and service. It was getting really late and there is not much to choose from in the area (go to Smoky Bones/ it's great). I had the strip steak ($5 upcharge). My wife had tenderloin tips. Both cooked perfectly, large portion and delicious. House Zinfandel went perfectly. WOW! An incredible unexpected amazing meal. We had purchased a Groupon to go here and it did not disappoint. The restaurant is located in the lobby of the main hotel. It is beautiful decorated in a nice setting where you walk over a water stream to get it. We were seated as soon as we arrived. Once our waitress came to our table, she suggested we move to a large table to be more comfortable and she was right. I didn't know I was uncomfortable until I was so comfy at the new table. We started off with the blue cheese chips and they were just jammed packed with blue cheese and she brought us extra. SCORE! We both do not drink so we just had soft drinks which were not ever empty. We even had our 2nd before our 1st was empty. We both ordered the ny strip steak that was a perfect med rare with mashed potatoes and asparagus. We than moved onto dessert of cheesecake with fresh berries that were to die for. The manager came around and greeted every table and really seemed to listen to the customers. Nice looking Oasis lounge across from the restaurant if you were looking for a nightcap. If you venture out to this location ask for Fatima as your waitress. You won't be disappointed. It's what you'd expect from a chain hotel's restaurant. First off, the fact an Embassy Suites has a full service dining restaurant is a plus. Second, the menu is quite accommodating. Third, the price is reasonable. Okay, so why just three stars? Service is slow! For a restaurant with 3 occupied tables and four or five wait staff service could be faster. Second, the food is just meh! But then you shouldn't be too picky if you are eating at a restaurant at the Embassy Suites! I would eat there again if it was late and I was too tired to venture out. I would eat there again if the other choices were Burger King, Taco Bell or some other fast food joint. But there are plenty of other restaurants I would prefer over Kyng's Grill. read more

I only ate here once so feel free to take my opinion with a grain of salt. I ordered the paella but unfortunately it was a bit late and that ran out. I went for the NY steak with smashed potatoes as a backup. The cook on the steak was perfect, like I wanted to go back in the kitchen and chest bump the guy who did it. I think the steak was a bit undersalted but the chimichurri had enough salt to make it right, though I'd prefer my chimichurri more herbs and less oil. Smashed potatoes were delicious. The house salad with the roasted vegetables was also a pleasant surprise. As for the value I thought it was a good value for a hotel restaurant, about on par with what I'd expect to pay the same prices at a normal restaurant. No clue how this place is rated as high as it is. Ordered the French onion and it was no flavor, all bread and cheese. The chicken wings were so little however even though there was little sauce they did offer a seasoned kick. The strip steaks were a real disappointment as it wasn't cooked to temp, mid rare, either steak that was ordered and the cut was not the usual delicious flavor. The worst steak I have ever had. The meat quality was terrible. Much of the NY Strip was inedible. Asparagus wasn't fresh either. Pizza is delicious. At first I was skeptical because the dinner menu had a variety of categories. Went ahead and order a pizza which is 16in. Fed my family of four. The thickness of the cheese on there is to die for. Definitely will order again. Oh and the wings are made extra crispy. We had been here twice previously and had great dinners. I was astounded at how down hill this restaurant has gone in the last year. First of all, the restaurant was as cold as a meat locker. We watched several people ask to have a different table in a warmer part. Another couple said they eat here frequently and it is always extra cold. It was cold enough to be downright uncomfortable. We said something to the waitress; she agreed that it was very cold. We saw several people leave and come back with coats...we assume they went to their room or car if they were lucky enough to have a coat nearby. One couple said they eat there frequently; they said it was always cold, so they know to dress for that. If they know it is uncomfortably cold and people are complaining, why not raise the temperature a degree or two?? My hands were so cold that when my dinner came, I lifted my plate and warmed my hands a little on the heat from my entree! My husband and I ordered the beef tips; the last time we had them, we raved about them. We recommended them to my adult daughter who was with us. All three of us were unable to eat our beef tips. They were chewy and very gristly. I will say we ordered shrimp scampi as an appetizer, and it was excellent. Each of the two other times we dined here, the very friendly manager came to our table to visit and make sure everything was ok. We were there on a Sunday night, and I assume no manager was on duty, as we did not see one. We were looking forward to eating here and have recommended it to others; we will probably not be returning again. read more

In a beautiful marble lined atrium with a relaxing wall of water cascading down, this restaurant was worth going to. #1-It's not a chain, rare for the Orlando area, and #2-not middle eastern food which is in abundance in the immediate surroundings. It had great service, was uncrowded and the chicken was cooked to perfection. We loved the bleu cheese covered chips as an appetizer. Unfortunately we were too full to try dessert but I bet it was spectacular too. (I hope the guy who was flirting with the hostess the entire time found it worth his time!) read more
