This was a really great meal after a long day at the parks! The service though was reeeeeaaalllly slow!

    A delicious dinner!

Love this spot at CityWalk! Amazing food with great customer service. We sat at the bar for dinner and our bartender was so friendly and helpful. We shared the Focaccia appetizer as well as a Margherita Pizza. It was so fresh and so delicious. The crust was cooked perfect and it was a great size for two people to share. Can't wait to come back and try another type of pizza!

Update: they changed their menu. The bread is no longer free. The Caprese.was small tomatoes not big slices. The Pasta Ragu was a little different with a lighter sauce and broccolini. It was all still very good but probably will ask for the old Ragu next time. We arrived early and they were able to seat us in a booth that we had asked for through our reservation. I loved the booth. Our waitress was very nice and answered all our questions. She even gave me the tip of asking for the "old Ragu" next time if I liked that better. We will definitely be back. It's my favorite pasta place

Good service, great food -- the red sauce had a weird flavor but the margarita was amazing! The mushroom pasta was also yummy and the wine was great. Sitting was a vibe honestly and they rain Parmesan. Only thing, be sure to check on your food if it hasn't came out yet, we came close to closing and ordered two margaritas however they forgot to make our second.

Universal CityWalk is Orlando's hottest spot for entertainment, boasting the biggest names in live music, dining, dancing, movies, and more. Vivo Italian Kitchen is a fantastic, vibrant establishment appealing to everyone from couples to families, where we decided on dinner today. A reservation was easily made for a party of 11. Upon entering, for some of us as first-timers, my partner, our friends, and I were greeted by the host and got a table inside the dimmed lights and fun decor with jars filled with different ingredients, evoking a sleek and contemporary modern vibe. The star of this restaurant is the open kitchen, which allows patrons to watch the chefs prepare fresh pasta from scratch, as well as hand-pulled mozzarella. So one can't go wrong with any of those. Their diverse menu is filled with traditional Italian dishes from classic pizzas to hearty pastas with vegan options available. As an appetizer to share, we opted for the House-made Garlic-Cheese Bread with roasted garlic butter, eggplant caponata, and basil pesto spread. For the main meal, we decided on the Chicken Fettuccine Alfredo, Pasta Artichoke Cream, Chicken Piccata, Pasta Bolognese, and Lasagna. Every dish we tried was delicious, beautifully prepared, and full of authentic flavor. Portions are pretty large. The price was right in line with any other restaurant. The staff were warm, attentive, and genuinely welcoming, creating a relaxed and enjoyable dining experience from start to finish. Our server was Alex. A Taste of Italy--Truly Exceptional!

We've been here several times and always sit at the bar and Daniel is our favorite bartender so far! All the food we've had is great and the ambience is comfortable for a day after the parks . We will be back soon

Must say, i was dead from back to back to back days at the parks and am always excited to get some food at the end of the day! We made our way down to Universal blvd where all the things were popping off! We saw a corporate group of about 100+ people waiting to go inside for private event at the park but just behind them we saw Vivo! Walked up and they initially said about 30 min wait (we did see plenty of open tables but said sure) we'll go explore. As we entered the gift shops nearby i got a text in 5 min and made our way back haha. Seated promptly, back by the open kitchen. Boy my feet was screaming to release the from walking. The smell was great with the kitchen right there, it was extra warm. Our server brought out bread and dips. Scrumptious since we were starving! Ordered couple sodas, 2x chicken parm and 1x clam linguini! Enjoyed my chicken parm and noodz, chicken wasn't overcooked and dry, just the right amount of sauce and filled us up. My lady enjoyed her linguini, had good garlic white wine flavor and ample amount of clams to make her happy! Calamari is my go to anytime i see it on any menu. Tasted fresh, flaky, and a perfect cook. Not chewy. Paired with the marinara dip and it just melded well! Would be back!

Meets expectations. Not all were a hit but still good nonetheless. The complimentary bread was so fluffy and delicious! Their chicken ravioli was the best pasta dish on the entire menu. Small portion but was addicting. Would get again. Squid ink pasta was good but just meets expectations. Very light in flavor but still does the job. Well cooked seafood. The stuffed cheese pasta in red sauce was ok. Vegetarian. It was initially kinda enjoyable but got boring towards the end. Not a must get. The sausage pasta was ok I would pass on this in the future

This evening I decided to stop at VIVO and get some drinks as well as some food for dinner. I got here around 4:30 and it wasn't really busy but right now it is just starting to pick up and it's currently 5:37 PM. I got the minestrone soup for $12 a bowl and then I had a bread service as well along with my festival seasonal drink. My favorite spot to eat at VIVO is the bar you get an outstanding service and it is first come first serve. If you haven't been to VIVO, the ambience is upscale Italian restaurant to me. It reminds me of a mix between WolfGang Puck and Maria and Enzo's. 10/10 My bartender her name is HALE and she is outstanding .

Man, is this place popping right after park close. Not an empty table in sight. Unfortunately, we probably got the worst seat in the house right in the corner where ya get forgotten about. Service took quite a while. Understandable because of how busy it was, but when a worker is constantly passing by and not acknowledging you at all it kind of was becoming annoying. Food, however, was worth all the wait. You get free bread for the table and it was pretty good. My main dish was absolutely delicious! I got three meals out of that plate, it was that ginormous. Left with a full belly and forgot all about the long wait. As long as the food is good, that's always something I can forgive lol.

$26 for Eggplant parmesan with no noodles, no sides, no nothing, and the flavor was stale and old, and had nothing to be desired

Zero Stars This restaurant needs to be shut down and immediately condemned for the absolutely disgusting level of food that this kitchen is producing. I spent $47 on eggplant Parmesan that came with nothing but just eggplant and a side of meatballs that was two medium size meatballs I believe they are capitalizing on the location and people being hungry when they leave universal but I would not recommend this place and it's awful that they would try to present this to customers.

My husband and I enjoyed a meal yesterday and our server Markell was humorous and very helpful when he was around. He made sure we had what we needed with our drinks, our food was exactly the way we asked for and he complimented the food choices we made. The atmosphere was very comfortable and friendly. We will return again and we will suggest it to friends who want Italian food in this area.

After spending the entire day at the parks, we decided to hop over to Universal CityWalk to grab dinner! Vivo Italian Kitchen seemed to be a popular choice & we can always go for Italian... so we ended up here hehe. It was a ~5 min wait for a party of 3, not bad at all! We started off our meal with calamari. Thought it was actually pretty good, no complaints here. It was flavorful & perfectly crispy. For entrees, we got two orders of the chicken parmigiana & one linguine w/ clams. Hahahaha, I personally love when restaurants include pasta w/ chicken parm, so I thought the portion sizes here were pretty generous! My favorite was the linguine w/ clams (the dish I ordered). This tends to be my go-to dish whenever I go to an Italian restaurant. I loved that they actually gave me a decent amount of clams! More times than not, I find that when I order this dish, they only give me a few clams & I end up still being quite hungry after. This was not the case for this meal! Great flavor & was definitely satisfied overall. Will definitely be back here the next time we're visiting again.

How can I make a reservation?

If you google the restaurant name a link pops up to make a reservation

    Is their salmon wild caught?

The waiter said their salmon is from the Atlantic Ocean. Wild, I would assume.

Do they serve coke or Pepsi?

    Coke

    Does park g get validated?

No if you come during the day but if you arrive after 6 it is free parking at Universal studios.

Is this place good for large groups?

This place would most likely be able to accommodate large groups (with a reservation), since the restaurant is huge.

If you could transport a traditional pizza parlor out of Manhattan, Brooklyn, or Queens and drop it in Orlando, this would be the spot. I can't be sure, but it felt family-owned by multiple generations of guys working behind the counter, taking pride and care in the pies they were making. It almost was like a pizza ice cream parlor in this fact that their slices were on display behind a glass counter and were impossible to choose. The dining area was larger than it looked in this strip mall setting, and the bathrooms were clean, as were all the tables, making it feel more like a restaurant than a quick slice shop. The sliced portions were generous, and the selection ranged from traditional slices, such as meat lovers, veggie, to more exotic Neapolitan and a vodka sauce-inspired slice that they were proud to have me try. We also ordered a Caesar salad that had a great taste and crisp lettuce, which is a must! At the end of the day, Sal's Pizza Bar was a great find. I appreciated the pride and love put into these pies and the service that we received.

The fish and chips were crispy, hot, and satisfying after a long day in the park. The shepherd's pie was hearty and comforting, with a rich savory filling that felt like classic British comfort food. Both dishes were filling and fit the immersive theme of the area perfectly. For dessert, the Butterbeer potted cream was a standout. It was smooth, creamy, and packed with that signature Butterbeer flavor without being overwhelmingly sweet. The ice cream was also a refreshing treat and a great way to cool down in the Florida heat. Service was efficient, and the staff handled the crowds well despite the popularity of the area. The atmosphere is what really makes the experience special. From the detailed theming to the views of Hogsmeade, it truly feels like stepping into the Harry Potter universe. Whether you're a fan of the books or movies, the immersive environment adds so much to the meal. Overall, a fun and memorable dining experience with comforting food, tasty desserts, and one of the best themed environments in the park.

This is located inside Universal Orlando Island's of Adventure. I do think this can be confused with the restaurant and how to actually get there. Hog's Head is actually separate from the restaurant. There is a separate entrance, separate lines as well. This is just a bar, they do not sell any food here. However, the restaurant is next door and easily accessible if you want to grab a drink and then go get food. The bar is themed to Harry Potter, and if you are a fan you will love it. If you have never seen the movies or read the books, you can still enjoy the bar. Their options here are limited, with them just having beer, ciders, a couple of cocktails and the famous butter beers. I believe they only do the frozen here. If you wanted a different version I think you need to go to a different place. I personally prefer getting butter beer here as opposed to the carts, since the line is so much shorter. It is also a bar, so the bartenders know how to keep the line moving quickly! You are able to also purchase the butter beer in the souvenir goblets. My wife and I do enjoy coming here, I love their beers and it really is always a stop when we are in the park. Their vibes are kind of dark and gloomy but completely themed to Harry Potter. The last time we visited, my wife was not feeling a beer and we really only knew of a long island cocktail which she does like. I was speaking with the bartender and she suggested a vodka based drink with lemonade and Prickly Pear. I ordered this for my wife but since she was sitting outside I could not take both drinks. However, the bartender was very sweet, let me order both, and she just had my wife step inside. When she went in, it was ready and she just handed it over to. It was very nice! She didn't have to wait in the line. This was a great drink, one she said she would order over and over. Overall, I think you need to add this to your list. It's a fun spot to grab a drink and experience Harry Potter. ACES!

We were searching on yelp for a great Italian restaurant in the Orlando Florida area and we came across Fresco Cucina Italiana . We called for a 7 PM reservation. We arrived a little early and we wanted a booth seating so we had to wait about 15 minutes for one to become available. We were seated and brought fresh baked bread with seasoned extra virgin olive oil it was to die for . Then our server Irnzen came over introduced herself she was fabulous very kind and friendly she went over all the specials and then answered all of our questions as the menu is quite extensive and all items are authentic italian prepared and are different than what you might expect. She is so knowledgeable about their menu . We placed our order starting with appetizers my wife ordered the fried calamari lightly battered and lightly fried it came out perfect very tender with a wonderful house made tomato sauce. I had the mussels in a white broth which was delicious and the mussels were plump and flavorful. For our entrees my wife ordered the zuppa de pesce in house made tomato broth with angelhair pasta. She said it was the best she has ever had it was loaded with fresh Seafood and could not stop dunking the house baked bread in the broth. Love the deep dish pizza always. This specific Giordanos is pretty dirty (windows, doors,…read morebathrooms, what you can see of the kitchen when you walk back, the pile of dirty paper towels that sit by the door going back into the dining room). I did let someone know the soap was out in both the men's and women's bathrooms and the paper towels in the women's (mom life visiting both multiple times). Neither was addressed in the time we were there (probably an hour and a half...takes about 45 minutes to get deep dish). Service wise at this place, looked like one person working most of the tables, so I know that can be tough and it was a little slow reflecting that, which isn't her fault. The biggest weird thing though is that we actually took a second to look at our bill (both of us looked). The subtotal didn't add up. So I'm not sure if she already added tip and just didn't have a line for it (maybe it's like an auto thing?) but then when you tap to pay it gives you another spot to tip again. I just think that's a little sketch. We often are in a hurry and don't look, so adding an extra almost $20 and not having a line for it and then also having a spot for another tip can be a little deceptive. There were just the 4 of us, I know it's often auto when it's a bigger table, but we weren't. So, yeah, just weird and felt a bit deceptive. And there was a line for tax, so it wasn't that.

I had their kale and goat cheese salad - it was so rich and incredibly flavorful. We had a couple hour drive home, and our server gave us coffees to go, as it was late at night. Overall: Service is super friendly and the food is absolutely divine. I would highly recommend!

Met up with a colleague for lunch today and realized it's been YEARS since I've been to North…read moreItalia. I went when they first opened and remembered really enjoying it, but I have not been back for lunch. It was pretty quiet during that time. I ordered one of their zero proof mocktails, the 00 Spritz, which was light and refreshing. We decided to share a couple menu items including the beef carpaccio and the garlic knot sliders with pesto chicken parm. Prior to ordering, my colleague had asked our server about another menu item and the type of meat that was in the sauce because she cannot eat pork. It was clear that he was not very sure. For it not being very busy and most people dining in were on a lunch break, the food took quite a while to come out. We received the carpaccio first - it was very tasty and we both enjoyed it. When we received the garlic knot sliders, they looked amazing. It comes with 3 sliders and a side of fries. Once we began eating the sliders, my friend noticed that there was crispy prosciutto (aka pork) on them. This was not listed on the menu or mentioned by our server. Many people don't eat pork (for personal or religious reasons), so that ingredient really should be disclosed on the menu. Our server was apologetic and mentioned that they had just updated their menu so this must have been an oversight. Sadly, my friend did not have enough time left in her lunch break at this point to wait for something else to come out. I personally did enjoy the sliders and took the leftovers home. I also ordered the cacio e pepe pizza to-go to have for dinner later, and it was also very good. Besides that hiccup, overall the food was good and I would go back to try more menu items.
