On 4/20/26 a two-man crew from Carrie's Fence removed my old chain-link fence, and installed a white vinyl privacy fence, all in one day. The fence is absolutely gorgeous, and the employees were hard-working, especially with the challenge of putting up a fence during high winds. The company is top-notch, and offered a quality product, beating out the other two companies I got estimates from. No pressured sales pitch. Estimator "Bob" has 50 years in the fence business, and is worth his weight in gold for his ability to answer my questions and giving me a detailed estimate. Carries installed a vinyl fence and it costed 20k ( I have a big back year). The fence looked good, but two weeks later a small tropical storm came by. It broke our fence and the max wind speed was nothing compared to a hurricane. Tried call Carries fence back out to see if they would fix since it was just installed. They would never answer their phones and when they did they kept giving us the run-around. This fence costed so much, you would think they would come out with no problem. it took them 3 months to come out to assess damages. They finally "fixed" it, to brake again with the next gust of wind. I would not use them. I had a co-worker who needed a new fence and they were gonna use Carrie's. I told them not to use them after all my troubles and they went with someone else and couldn't be happier. I wish I did. read more

Their work is poor, they installed some gates and didn't make the gates even. It's been months and they still haven't fixed anything. There's random sand and a hole that we have to put cinder block down so our dogs won't get out. Shoddy and terrible. read more

Easily the worst and most unprofessional business I have dealt with in a long time. Nothing but delay after delay. Original estimator missed his first appointment, had to reschedule it. Then they missed the first install date THEY scheduled, so I had to reschedule that. Ok. No way they miss again right? Wrong, they missed the second install date, that THEY "promised", so clearly that "promise" meant nothing. I am not rescheduling this time. 3 strikes you are out. Then they had the nerve to tell me maybe it was best if I took my business elsewhere instead of fixing the situation. Very true I suppose, if what I want is an actual fence installed, but just wow. I understand delays happen but that is why you don't make promises you can't keep. They clearly either don't want or need the business, so they aren't getting mine. I actually overheard the sales rep trying to remedy the situation but he was told, by who I assume was the boss, "that's not how we do business here." So clearly this place doesn't really care about customer service, even if they pretend like they do. Save yourself the headache and go elsewhere. It's a fence, not rocket science, just keep your commitments and schedule or don't make them if you can't. Lastly, a warning for any potential future customer - Be prepared to take multiple days off work so that you can fit in with when they decide to actually come out instead of them actually keeping their schedule. I would give them less than 0 stars if possible. read more

The original owners of Carrie's Fence, Tim and Carrie installed our vinyl fence a few years ago.It was great, we also had them install a gate for a transitional housing shelter where I volunteered. They did a fabulous job, very professional. NOW, new owners. We called after storm to have fence and gate repaired, Bob came out to give estimate, week went by we called they said we were the very next estimate , they would call back "tomorrow" after a month or more of tomorrow's, and being lied to, we've found another company who wants the business and doesn't give the run around! Why in the world would you take time to come out to our home and falsely state you were going to repair, then not return calls. If you couldnt do the job have the decency to let us know. This company are over their heads, very unprofessional, can't kerp a commitment on a repair, horrible! Very sad that Carrie had built this business and now this group still use the name and are absolutely doing nothing. BEWARE! Very bad reputation and business practice! read more

We had Carrie's Fence replace our cheap fence that had been lifted by past storms. They exceeded our expectations, honestly we have had a few bad vendors in the past. My experience with Carrie's Fence has unfortunately not been the best. They were polite and did show up for two different measurement/estimate appointments over a 12 month time frame. However, I never did receive estimates for either visit to my residence. I would not have cared if I had all the free time or if I was retired, but I had to take off work to make both appointments. I even called several times confirming my e-mail address with them and asked them for the quote. I never received the quotes or a courtesy call that they did not want the job. I would not waste my time with them and I would go to one of the larger fence companies for the job, since they do the estimates on site during the actual appointment. read more

My husband initially contacted Carrie's fencing they came out gave us an estimate and my husband asked about permitting. My husband was told by Debra the office manager that if a permit was needed it would be obtained and she informed him of the date the contractor would arrive to begin the work. The contractor showed up one day early, which shows poor scheduling on Debra's part and we had never heard back from the office in regards to permits. I am working remotely from home and I hear a lot of banging noise so I go and ask my husband what's going on. He told me the contractor for fencing showed up early and is outside putting up the fence. I asked him if he had heard from Debra in regards to permits and he replied no. I went outside and the fence was halfway built by this time. I asked the contractor about any permits and he said he had know idea and that I needed to call the office. I called the office and spoke to Debra and she said I have a number of permits on my desk and yours is one that got kicked back. I asked her for what reason and she stated that according to the permit department there was still and open permit on the pool from 2005. I knew this was incorrect because I had pulled all permits on this property open or closed for the last ten years shortly after we purchased the property in March. I called the permit department and after much round around they finally determined a permit was not needed for the fence and there were no open permits on the property. I called Debra to let her know and the permit department also called her to confirm. Now, I do not hold Debra responsible for misinformation she was given by the permit department, but what I do have problem with, is sending a contractor to my property to begin a project when debra did not do her due diligence and make sure the problem was resolved prior to the job beginning. Then they pulled the contractor off the job, which is the logical thing to do when you didn't have the correct paperwork in order, but the office did not even notify us that the contractor left. The entire thing was an absolute headache. This company has poor scheduling, poor communication, and does not get their paperwork in order prior to the job. Once the job was finally complete I asked Debra if she would give me a discount due to all the problems during the job. Debra told me " You have two options, I can waive the fee for paying with a debit card, or we can just come pull out the fence." I told her no the work was done I will pay you, however, the way that you are speaking to me is extremely unprofessional and down right rude. I had to give this company one star to leave a review, however, their rating is a zero. I would never EVER use this company unless you enjoy unnecessary headaches, rude treatment, poor planning, poor scheduling and poor communication with the customer. read more
