Customer service was absolutely fantastic and Tyler W. was accommodating and gave us clear explanations as to what was wrong. We received a text message with a picture of the employees so we knew who to expect and what they looked like. Arlinghaus has to send another worker out to discuss prices on a new furnace. Tyler was able to get our furnace working temporarily as we look into buying a new furnace. It cost $89 for him to come out and diagnose the problem. They will remove this from any extra work they may need to do. Unfortunately, in the end we could not afford even the lowest option they had for a furnace. They use a top furnace line brand and are more expensive then the national average. This was the only draw back for me that it was to expensive and I did not want to enter into a loan for a $7,000 furnace when the average homeowners pay is $3100. Regardless, they were transparent and did not pressure me into anything we didn't want to do. I highly recommend Arlinghaus for their professionalism and honesty with their customers.

My furnace died sometime during the night and we…read morewoke up to an inside temperature of 56 degrees and an outside temp of 30 with temps in the teens forecasted for the next night. We are talking Christmas weekend 2020 We called several hvac repair listings and left messages. The only person who returned my calls was Dave Walston. He had other outages to respond to but said he would add me to his list and be here as soon as possible. He asked me to call him if any other company was able to respond earlier than he could so that I could get heat as soon as possible. Later that day Dave called to verify that I was still without heat and said he would be here in about 20 minutes. I advised him that his working conditions would be less than desirable but he still agreed to come. He arrived on time and diagnosed the problem in a timely manner. Unfortunately the problem was with the control board and none of the local supply houses had it in stock. He called Trane directly and had it overnighted to him. He arrived the next morning, control board in hand and replaced the defective one. He showed me the old board where one of the components had "fried". He presented me with the bill. His charges were extremely fair and much lower than expected. I can assure you that anytime I need hvac service in the future that it will be Dave Walston who will get the call. Thank you Dave!

Guy on the phone said sure we can do that. I called back on Wednesday just to ask if they had done it or if not when were they going to. Before I could even ask the guy said, "yeah we're not going to be able to do it." So they basically weren't going to do the job and worse yet had I not called to check they wouldn't have even called to tell me that. This kind of poor customer service deserves to lose business. Please don't pay them anything as they deserve to go out of business for simple horrible customer service. Too many others in the HVAC business that deserve your business.

He arranged installation very quickly. His worker was very conscientious and went above and beyond to complete the job. Jason stopped by once during installation to be sure things were on track, and then again upon completion. He showed me how unit operates and offered help at any time Highly recommend.
