So far they have been to my cabin in Willisburg 3 times, once to install a heat pump and twice to repair another "expert's" mistakes. They are now working on getting the thermostat so that it does not run basically all the time and not heat the place well. Set on 72 and temp 66. I have been told by Chris a few days ago the stat should have a setting for emergency heat. The reason this is not a 5 star review is the advertisement stating 24/7. First, contacted the day after service that the heat was still not running properly. The fellow (Jake?) called me back to say he had reached out to sevicemen but none had returned his call. This was Saturday. The problem would be dealt with, apparently, the "first of the week." I called today, Sunday, to give them further information and got an answering service, who obviously knew nothing about what I was saying, but would give them the message." I'm not sure these two incidents truly represent 24/7 service. You can contact the company, but I think service on the problem is implied when 24/7 is advertised. We needed our AC unit serviced at home and Arronco was able to come out the very next morning. Shaun and his trainee were both very kind, knowledgeable, and professional. These guys offered up different options to take care of our issue and seemed very knowledgeable on everything. They definitely met our expectations and we will return to Arronco when we need HVAC help in the future. The price for the service and parts seemed pretty fair. Very poor service, purchased a new system for almost $7,000 and asked for a new wire to be run from to the thermostat which the sales person said would not be a problem. Went to install new WiFi thermostat and still had the original wire. Called and explained the issue and took 4 calls to try and get their service rep to call me back. Told me I would have to pay to have a new wire installed. Would not recommend! read more

Stay away. I have a geothermal installed by this company. I have a service contract and they have the worst service in the world. They have 1 guy working all of Kentucky this Sunday. They said they might call me back to schedule something on Monday, but don't count on them being out for n Monday either. The guy has back to back calls till midnight and doesn't care if you get serviced or not. Their service is worthless and they can't service what they have sold let alone do more work. Get a service plan from anywhere else and don't use these guys.... ever. read more

Just to keep everyone updated regarding the condensation issue that I have had with the AC unit that I bought from Arronco Heating & Air that has been dripping water in my home since 2018. (Which was under warranty) I filed a complaint with the Better Business Bureau and Mr. Wolf (The President of Arronco Heating & Air) would rather argue with me about water coming into my home vs. just sending a repairman to my house and fixing the unit that he installed. I have been an Arronco customer for eight years on their premium service plan. When my air conditioning went out during a September heatwave, I called them early Saturday morning to request a service call. I was told that the company was closed until Monday because of a family emergency and no service was available, Nor could I talk to anyone in the company.. I understand family emergencies but this must be a small company with very limited resources to close their service department for three days. Needless to say, I am switching to another company for my service in the future. read more

Bad Service and Price. I own rental property and had 1 leaky hot water furnace. I changed out the pressure relief valve where the water was coming out, but that did not fix it. I figured it was the expansion tank ( about a $15.00 part ) but decided to let a professional take a look. I called Arronco to come take a look and they indicated it would be a $95.00 charge plus parts. They confirmed it was the tank but did not have any with them. They came back the next day and replaced it. I also asked them to check a register in the hallway. The serviceman was accompanied by another young fellow who was in training. They told me that I would get a bill from the main office, and the $95.00 should not be charged in addition. After they left, I notice dirt all over the recently painted walls, with some of the paint scrapped off. Also, the register I had asked them to fix, they cleaned off but now the cover was pulled away from the wall, and I will have to fix that myself. The serviceman said I would be billed later on for the call (which I figured would be about $30.00 for the part plus a $95.00 visit fee ). Early the next week I got a bill for $495.00 and another $95.00 diagnostic fee. I called the office to get an explanation. They said that was the flat rate for boiler service. I told them they replace a $15.00 part and wanted to charge me $495.00 for it. I also told them the technician said the $95.00 would be removed because they did the work. The secretary talked to her boss and they would only charge $495.00 for everything. I suggested the cost should be $125.00 to $150.00 but they would not budge. WOW! Lousy service and a $590.00 charge to replace a $15.00 part. They lost a customer over this issue! read more

Arronco replaced my 30 yr. old furnace and AC unit right after a long, hot Memorial Day weekend. The men were professional and efficient. Installation took about a day and a half. They made sure to cover their shoes, explained the new controls and filters thoroughly, cleaned up after themselves. The new unit is working perfectly so far (very quiet). I haven't tried the furnace yet, will update later! read more

Don't let them work on your HVAC! They charged me 2000 to fix a coil and it didn't fix it! I'm out that money now probably gonna have to replace my whole outside unit. Arronco has been here 3 times and done nothing but take my money! read more

Completely awful! I called and advised that my basement had a strong odor that would not go away so they scheduled an appointment. Two men came in, walked into the basement bathroom and said they did not smell anything, asked 2 or 3 questions and said there was nothing they could do and charged me $100. This could have been done on the phone w/out the $100 charge. The guys eyes were completely bloodshot and they had sat in my driveway for about 20 minutes and then came in for 2. Took me longer to write the check that the time they spent in the bathroom. read more

We have a geothermal system and a heat pump in another part of the house, both installed by Arronco. Overall, the geothermal system has worked efficiently, however we have had many issues with installation and service. Due to improper installation, our 2nd floor was flooded requiring drying, mold remediation, replacement of ceilings, etc. To Arronco's credit, they paid for all the repairs. On the heat pump, we've had Arronco service it repeatedly due to issues with balancing the temperature and failure of components. read more

I was completely satisfied with my semi-annual maintenance visit for our geothermal system, as I have been ever since Arronco installed it 6 years ago. The technician gave me a heads-up phone call an hour before he arrived. He knew to bring new filters into the house with him, even though it was his first time here. He was courteous, pleasant, and focused on his work. The job took 1 hr. He reviewed his findings with me before he left. read more

We have both geothermal and a separate heat pump for a detached building that we had installed by another company before we got the geothermal with Arronco. We have had the geothermal for 5 years. We were pleased with all of our interactions with Arronco prior to and during installation, and since then during biannual maintenance visits. They have always been up front about costs and not recommending anything when not needed. They have been thorough and conscientious at each maintenance visit. They service the separate heat pump with the same care and thoroughness that they service the geothermal system they installed. Before we started with Arronco, we had a heating/cooling service with servicemen that seemed more interested in selling us new parts (a different part for the same problem each visit), so the honesty of the Arronco team has been very refreshing. read more
