The rooms are relatively clean, and the staff do their best to keep all areas of the hotel as clean as they can. My room for the most part was clean with some minor stains on the carpet. The bathroom was spotless and the room wifi was easy to connect to and had a good signal that allowed me to surf, stream and connect to work through a VPN. The fitness centre is small and cramped and lacks modern equipment. Some of the machines were out of service during my stay. The dial for the heating and AC unit was broken and the TV had limited channels. The breakfast is standard IHG Holiday food which they change up daily offering hot and cold choices ei. bacon one day and sausage and gravy the next. Overall this hotel could use a modern renovation but it's okay for a short stay.

The front desk staff greeted me with a smile and had me on my way to my room in just a few minutes, which I appreciated after a day of travel. The hotel has a clean, modern vibe in the public spaces -- everything looked well-kept and tidy, from the lobby to the hallways. My room was clean and comfortable, but honestly pretty standard. Nothing jumped out as particularly memorable, but it got the job done. The bed was decent and I slept fine, which is really all I needed for this trip. The biggest downside for me was the price. For what the room offers -- just the basics -- it felt a little steep. That said, prices in the area seemed generally high, so I don't blame the hotel too much for that. If I needed a place to crash in Carrollton again, I'd consider coming back, especially for the convenience and friendly service.

They had both a salad and soup bar and a hot bar option. I ate a lot of salads during my visit. Breakfast was similar a hot bar. The rooms are somewhat dated but it worked out just fine. I loved the balcony view which looked right into the woods, so serene. We also had a team building activity which was so much fun! They planned such a great event for us.

You get double queens that hurt my back both nights, I very thin blanket that I ended you getting the one off the other get to not freeze to death becuse the heat was Bibolar. The heat got turned on and it be cold one second and burning up the next without touching the temp them back to cold. The water bath/shower was messed up. Biggest issue was it never got hot. It was always luck warm it's slippery and they gave a foot by foot none slip mate in the shower. The handy cap bars are in the weirdest places for kids I guess. I called to get room service to clean, towels, trash extra blanket they never showed up I had to track them down to get towels. Oldie but a Goodie I…read morestayed in this Hampton Inn while in the Carrollton area for business. This Hampton is an older property but they have made updates over the years. The staff is welcoming, the rooms and bathrooms are clean and the breakfast is your standard Hampton fare. The hotel is located just off the highway and close to Fast Food chains, Walmart, gas stations and only five to ten minutes from town if you have to go into Carrollton. My room had two beds and an accessible washroom that was very large. The beds were comfortable and the bathroom was very spacious. The room also came with a mini-fridge, microwave and a little coffee station. The fitness center was on the smaller side and had a Peloton. The Peloton only works if you have a paid account or else it is just a nice decoration taking up space in the fitness room. Many Hilton properties have a Peleton account for their bikes so any guest can use them. At the time of my visit, this property did not. Overall a great stay and the only hangup I had was that my bill was not emailed to me when I checked out. When I called a few days later about my bill, they emailed me right away. Overall a great stay in a well-managed Hilton Property that seems to be undergoing some updates. Stay on the first floor as stairs are challenging. This hotel uses the Digital Key and it worked during my stay. I either stay here or next door in the Holiday Inn when I'm in the area.

They also were very kind to us during our stay and they were very accommodating. We got to the hotel around noon, but check-in wasn't until 4 (poor communication with my in-laws..oops). But the staff was very nice and we were able to just hang out in their lounge area, which has a great view of the water. The rooms were very nice and the view of the river was beautiful. They were doing a deep clean while we were there, which was unfortunate, but when you gotta clean, you gotta clean! I wouldn't hold that against them. It should be noted that they do not have a continental breakfast. I believe that they just stopped doing that January 2019. All in all, this is a great hotel and a lovely place to stay in Vevay.

Why can't I just call them directly??? We made our Saturday night reservation a couple months ago then called to extend our reservation to Friday night as well for my birthday. It took 30 minutes to accomplish this. So frustrating! Only to get a call the next night from a panicked employee asking if we had intended to book the suite or were we purchasing it for the bride & groom? They had inadvertently put us in the only master suite and that is what the bride & groom were to have. Seriously how does that even happen?! I had only asked for a king size bed because I didn't want to end up sharing a room because family thought we had an extra bed. They also had half the wedding party booked in March in stead of October. They need to seriously overhaul their reservation process! We got there and checked in only to find our room stunk like old musty. Let me stop here and say I will fully admit to being a hotel snob. I can't handle the thought of a dirty room and bed linens that aren't clean. I do have to say the sheets were clean and the bed was comfy. The pillows went flat pretty quick though. The walls have to be so thin & poorly insulated. I could hear every toilet flush from the rooms around us & doors slamming.

Carrollton, KY After…read morea long seven hours drive (590 miles and speeding) we decided to check in for the night. There were a few hotels to choose from but Super 8 was the closest after filling up petrol. We appreciate our night clerk as she was very pleasant and accommodating. We didnt have pets but juat an old disabled lady (my mum) and I asked how much would she charge for her (jokingly) she smiled and replied nothing. She asked if my mum needed any accommodation and I thanked her respectfuly and letting her know she had everything she needed. The room was clean and the beds were very comfortable. There were loads of towels and wash cloth to use, and a good number of toiletries to accommodate us. The fridge was cold and big enough to store my mums huge bag of insulin as they needed to be in a cold place for storage. The shower is great, water pressure is great and as well as the toilet. Breakfast was great! The morning clerk staff were amazing. They accommodation my husband in getting the coffee made as it was empty. They didnt rush us out or showed any signs of frustrations, though they had a hard time with some of the contraptions with the coffee machine (it was new) and very ergonomic. The food choice was great and was not burnt, sausages and scrambled eggs were cooked deliciously. The waffle area is ready for the next waffle monster and is great. Juice, bread and cereal and yogurt and fruit area is full, just take your pick. Oh and their headboard has beautiful scenery photos. We truly enjoyed our stay and would recommend this hotel to anyone who are traveling
