While out for a ride, we were going to a distillery tasting in Kentucky. We wanted to eat before the tasting. There wasn't much to offer at the interstate exit. We drove past the distillery and 5 miles later, were in Indiana. We found Moasis Grill. What a cute spot. The food is all made to order. Fresh. We chatted and laughed with our server, Katie as well as the owner/chef. The food was really good and we absolutely enjoyed our little travel mishap. I hope to visit them again. read more

We visited Moasis Grill during a 2 day get away for my husband & I. We received the best personal service from Tara the fantastic waitress there & Moe! Tara took time to ensure we had the best experience! She was the perfect waitress & so much fun! Moe the chef came personally out & talked to us to make sure we enjoyed the food & had a wonderful dinning experience. We had the potato skins for an app which were very good. I ordered the steak tips, Cesar salad & loaded potato soup. The steak was cooked perfectly & the Cesar salad was the best. My husband had the catfish strips & cabbage along with a Cesar salad & he loved all his food as well. My potato soup had a little bit too much flour in it but everything else was wonderful & the service was top notch! We will definitely be back! read more

Party of two for lunch. We ordered the steak Caesar salad and soup. I chose chili for my soup my wife had the loaded potato soup. The chili was different from any chili I've ever had but it was very very good. They loaded potato soup was incredible very flavorful and topped with bacon scallops and cheese my wife enjoyed it. The steak Caesar salad's are huge mistake was cooked SBS as ordered. All the vegetables were fresh and crunchy dressing was nice. The whole bill was reasonable under $40 with drinks. My wife and I came out here for a week, stayed at the Belterra and found this hidden gem a day before our departure date. It's a mom pop family restaurant, family friendly, great service, good prices, and the food tastes delicious... I've had grilled chicken just about anywhere, this one y far is the best testing, juciest chicken I've had in a long time... Looks like it's a spot in this little town... This gem is a must try! The steaks are great, the Mo Burger is great and the ranch is the best around, and I love some ranch! I just wish it was closer to where I live so I could eat there more! Mo's Steakhouse is a good sized location with a variety of menu options, from burgers to catfish to steak and ribs. The food is generally good and I love their salads. The service can be inattentive and a bit slow if they're very busy, which they usually are in the evenings. It can also get very loud when the restaurant is full. There is an attached bar at the rear of the restaurant that is separated from the restaurant by a door that is kept closed. The televisions are in a smaller section of the restaurant that used to be set aside for smoking until the recent passage of the smoking ban in Indiana. They have at least one, usually two, daily specials that are cheaper than the regular menu price or items that are not carried regularly. For example: a t-bone with choice of potato, vegetable side (they usually have just 2 to choose from) plus soup or salad and dinner rolls for $16.95. The steak is usually quite large and well cooked to specification. I've never ordered dessert there because I am always too full to eat it. I frequently order a house salad with the buffalo chicken tenders as my entire meal. The chicken tender meal includes the same options as the t-bone meal I described above and that's just too much food. Either make sure you're very hungry, or plan on bringing some of your meal home with you. All in all, Mo's is a fair restaurant, though I do prefer to avoid it when it's very full due to the noise. The owner frequently leaves the kitchen to visit tables to ensure that everything is to his patron's liking, which is a nice touch. read more

My son and I stopped with my 2 grands after attending the Wine Festival. I ordered the fried chicken with fries and a salad and my son ordered the fried boneless porkchops with rice and a salad. The children shared the grilled cheese with fries. I have eaten in restaurants up and down the eastern seaboard and have never seen anyone served such horrible food.    Everything fried tasted horrible and oozed grease. The oil was old and broken down fouling all of the fried food. The fries were soft and ran grease when sqeezed. The rice was hard and undercooked. The grilled cheese was hard as a brick and inedible. Nothing was seasoned at all. Whoever cooked this food shouldn't be allowed to mop the floor in a kitchen.   When advised that the food wasn't acceptable the waitress to her credit offered to replace the meals with something else but we didn't want anything else out of that kitchen.   Then to top it off they charged us full price! Over $50 for 2 house salads and 4 soft drinks. Don't eat here. read more

My friends and I were going to Belterra but did not want to dine in their overpriced restaurants but when exiting the expressway only had a choice of McDonald's or Subway so after searching on Yelp we decided on Mo's Steak House. Mo's has a full bar and a pretty good variety of food to choose from - soups, salads, wraps, panins, burgers, a children's menu and a dinner menu with chicken, catfish, shrimp, tilapia, and steak. They also had daily special for ribs which was not on the menu. The portions of the food were very large. I had blackened chicken breasts that came with two pieces of chicken, two sides and bread. My friends had a fried chicken sandwich with fries and a salad and the Supreme Panini - ham, turkey, bacon and cheese with fries. We had plenty to eat! And the food was very good. The chicken breasts had been cooked just a little too long but were still delicious. There are no substitutes for the fries with the sandwiches, paninis and wraps. There is an additional side to the restaurant with pool tables that is open to the restaurant area. The service was excellent and very friendly. The restaurant was not crowded at all when we got there since it was around 3 but a dinner crowd started showing up when we were leaving. I would eat here again. read more

My mother was born and raised in this town. Over the years it has changed only a little with different restaurants. My boyfriend and I come down a lot to visit with her. We tried this new steakhouse once. There was one or two tables with people sitting that had just gotten their food. Within 5 min the older man had to call the waitress over because his burger was raw in the middle. They did try to fix the problem. But I guess I should have known from. We were hungry so I tried the grilled chicken but received burnt chicken. I'm not usually one to complain especially when my mom's around. She gets nervous easily But now my mother was having her floors done to her apartment and was staying at the ogle haus for the nite. They took her to you guessed mos steakhouse. She has been sick for the past 4 days. She is still not well. I'm positive that someone contaminated the food for I have nothing positive to say of this place that's good. If you are hungry stop in Versailles or go to Madison for something to eat for mo's needs to figure out how to cook and stop cross contaminating food. My mother does not get sick that bad. This little out of the way place serves the best ribeye sandwich I have ever eaten. It was cooked just right and expertly seasoned. It was hanging off the the bun and was only $8.95! What a feast!
