Wow. Favorite place to get a truly healthy meal in Mid-beach. Consistently fresh quality and flavors out of the this world. Produce is always crispy and freshly prepared. No brown soggy stuff here ever! Definitely try the signature cilantro lime dressing on the side. It has a bit of oil but I was assured by the manager it is only a bit. I love the fire wrap. Chopped kale, avocado, tomatoes, carrots, red cabbage, and quinoa make for a filling meal. La Bomba is an equally good choice if you like roasted eggplant, hummus and falafel. I like to add roasted portobello mushrooms which are marinated and cut up small. Definitely get a juice. The refresher has lime and ginger and lives up to the name. I ordered from this restaurant and an hour passed by, and then I saw an email that my order was canceled. The owner said it was canceled because I did not answer my phone when she called to ask me if I wanted quinoa or brown rice. Is that a reason to cancel an order? I did call her back when she left a message, and the voicemail from the restaurant was not taking any messages. Then I texted the owner and said quinoa is fine. Now after waiting an hour for lunch, my husband and I are starving and there is no food coming. What kind of business is that? It's amazing how every time i order from this location, and every time there is something wrong. Not everything, just not important details, like a dressing for salad, or if there is dressing, salad comes without croutons, wrap with everything inside, but no cheese, or if everything inside it's not toasted like it's suppose to according to the menu, in few cases food was made just right, there was no forks and knives. Eh it's ok. They usually forget the sauces I ask for which is unacceptable considering the very high prices. I also got horrible food poisoning from their salmon poke bowl once. Considering the prices the service and quality should be better. Everytime I go to the store im afraid to look behind the counter because it's dirty, disorganized, and doesn't look sanitary. After months of walking past this place I finally decided to go in one day and I ordered the Liv wrap. It was delicious! It consisted of avocado, quinoa, kale and pesto. The cilantro lime sauce was the icing on the cake, it was full of flavor, not boring, not tasteless! I decided to enjoy my wrap on the beach which is only a 2 minute walk away. I have gone back for the Liv wrap twice already. I should really start to explore other things on the menu but I can't get over how good that wrap was! 4 stars cause it is a bit pricy (about $12 just for the wrap) but they express to have all natural high quality ingredients. read more

I've only had the smoothies here but I am almost a daily customer for the smoothies. I like to mix up my smoothies with my own off menu combinations of fruits and protein and chia seeds. The staff are friendly and accommodating. The smoothies are prepared in an open kitchen so you can see that it's clean and fresh. Dine in or dine out, come in a swim suit or in a dress. Any attire is fine. I love that they always greet me with a smile . If you are a regular you can join their version of the frequent flier club and get a free smoothie every now and then. The prices are the most fair on Collins Ave and the quality is superior as well as the fruit and veggie options. My only request is that they need to offer nutritional and caloric information. I'm a diabetic and I need to watch my carbs. I called corporate and they said they are working on making this addition. There may be a line during peak hours, in season but the line moves fast. After a long day at the beach, there's nothing better than a cold smoothie. I spotted Carrot Express on our walk back to the car. I read a couple reviews on Yelp and everyone seemed happy about their visit so we decided to go. We had the Pina Colada smoothie and the Strawberry Passion smoothie. If you're ok with paying $20 for two smoothies, then go for it. I'd probably be more okay with it had I been amazed with the smoothie itself. The smoothie was good, but it was nothing out of this world. You could definitely spend less and be more satisfied at Robek's. I guess since you're at the beach you can expect to pay higher prices for stuff. I think a lot of times when you pay more, you expect more. That's what happened here. I have been to the south beach location several times and really enjoyed it but i ordered pick up from this location and got home pretty disappointed. Whoever made my order forgot the cheese in the liv wrap (which I think makes the wrap taste amazing and not too dry).
