Fries - great seasoning salt flavor Teriyaki - VERY heavy and the texture of the rice is not consistent (sometimes mushy other times firm).... Carson Burgers.... Mmmm what can I say about this place. Well it was open and the staff were friendly, also the Mexican menu is better than the burgers however that's pretty much where it ends. I can't say it was the best place to grab a bite, with an old run down dinner feel this place feels like it's best years are far behind it. Going through the drive through we had to back up and straighten out a few times as the drive thru wasn't really accessible for the average car after 2000. We ordered the Bacon Avocado burger and the Carne Asada Burrito. Two bites of the burger and was thrown away. The meat wasn't cooked properly and had an off taste. The burrito wasn't much better with off tasting meat that had a ton of grissel. Now I will recommend this place if your looking for some cheap food if you've been partying most of the day or night but yeah skip it! read more

It was like 2 or 3 in the afternoon, and I GUESS it's more of a after work/school, I-don't-want-to-go-home-so-I'll-waste-my-life-away-here kinda place..which is COO if you're reading this and you work or go there. =) hehe Soooo, across the counter was a Polynesian chick. Instantly our "HOOK-IT-UPPPPP-SISTAH" flag went up right away, but I guess she didn't see it..LOL. What!? Blame the ghetto! We get it how we live it son! HAHA. But she was maddd coo, and later proved useful lol. I got me the BLT with avocado. And thats where our adventure begins. Apparently, whoever was on avocado duty that day, didn't get the ripe ones, so they were pretty hard and like any good chef, homeboy wasn't trynna make us eat some stiff veggies. Only issue was, WHAT KIND OF SAMMICH DOESN'T HAVE AVOCADO? That lil green diamond makes all the world of difference! A sandwich without it is like Abbot and no Costello, Peaches and no Herb, R. Kelly and no under-aged girls!! (hahahah, sorry, but the sad thing is, you TOTALLY know what I mean!). So I told dude it's fine and he slaps it in. The result? NOM-NOM SUCCESS BABY! My brother had a cheeseburger, which he says was pretty damn good, but his socks were still on after so it was nothing to be doing cartwheels over..not even a half-hearted, I'm-too-big-to-be-doing-cartwheels-so-can-I-just-roll-on-my-back-? kinda move. Oh, there was a slight mix-up with our orders, so to make it up to us, the Polynesian female hooked us up with some milkshakes! I copped me a strawberry one and it was GOOD!..if I had a motor in my mouth (shuddup) and I could suck a rock thru a straw (shuddup). It was hella frozen...kinda like them Jack in the Box ones hahaha. But what I did manage to suck up (shuddup), I enjoyed! Soooooo a 3 star experience. Not the greatest, but not so bad though. Although I've been coming here for years (because I live right around the corner) I ONLY go here if I'm REALLY hungry and don't feel like cooking or going far. The food is OK at best, I usually get the chicken bowl which is HUGE and can feed 2 people easy. I asked for a half order once and they wouldn't do it (which is lame). And it's VERY overpriced, like $7.50 for the chicken bowl, INSANE! The people here are RUDE!!!! every time I go here I say thank you when they hand me the food and I never get a reply (maybe they're mad because they work in fast food) the girls there carry on with conversations using profane language, which I don't care but it's very unprofessional and tacky. So if your starving and this is the only place around I guess it would do but don't expect much. read more

This Place Blows. I Dislike Restaurants were they charge you a fee $1.00 to use your own money in their establishment. Moving along, I order the cheese burger special which came with fries and a drink. I asked for an Horchata and she said it will be an addy .60 cents I got a coke instead, when I received my food I asked for thousand island dressing that was an extra .50 cents. I'm am just left with my mouth open at all the fees they charge their customers. The food is great, like any other burger spot but you won't catch me coming back to this place. I already advised all my coworkers and we will much rather go to TOMS Burger where they don't charge you squat for extra dressing or using your debit or even for an Horchata. read more

I've been getting the teriyaki chicken plate for years now and it's still just as good as it began. The ranch is good (for the salad) the chicken taste good, the sauce is good. The service is good. The little Mexican lady comes and brings all the condiments to the table. I remember the older Asian lady used to be there more often but I guess business is going well if she barely needs to show up any more. I also tasted the tuna melt and fries (bomb). And the pancakes, I've had them twice, the first were spectacular the second was just ok. Overall highly recommended been eating there for nearly all my life. read more

This is for their breakfast sandwich. This place is just north of the 405 FWY on Wilmington (Not too out of the way on my way to work) and I wanted to try something different than the Del Taco's's I've been having almost every work week recently (great breakfast burritos but I can stand so much) and this joint opens early for a 6:30am breakfast. I was at Apollo Burgers located just north the day before and I decided to try this place also on the whim. I ordered the Ham and Egg sandwich. It's not cheap at over $5 but it's huge with ham slices stacked an inch high. I wished the egg patty was a four egg patty (to match the ham's volume) but that's about the only complaint. The sandwich was better than I expected, normally cheap ham is salty with no flavor but this one was not half bad, soft and tender with no ligaments to get in the way or bite off. I saved half for lunch and it tasted good cold also. I'd go again for the ham and egg sandwich. I accidentally left a $10 bill on the counter there while trying to use the smaller bills and changes (The cashier can't see it from where she stands, the next customer would see it though but at the time I was the only one inside with Drive-Through customers being the main business at this hour). I realized this 3 hours later, too late to go back. This turned into a $15 breakfast sandwich but no fault of theirs. If you found it keep it and have some good food on me (Don't even think of returning it unless you're tacking on like 1,000% interest on it, then it might be worth the drive to retrieve it). read more

We have been coming to Carson Burgers for years for their Chicken Bowl. The chicken bowl can seriously feed 2 people., I buy the chicken bowl take it home add vegetables and it serves 3 people for dinner. Not bad for under 7 dollars. My only problem is the very rude older lady at the drive through. She is almost like a comedy routine with her rudeness. PPPLLease dont ask for extra sauce. The old lady will take your head off. Don't care for the low reviews on service or food...I come to the place to get the massive hamburger special or burrito special. Special gives you a mountain of french fries sprinkled with chili powder and a large drink. I see they have an A rating in the window which I'm a little surprised by because it seems a bit run down. This place is not the fanciest place I've eaten at, but I always come before a Galaxy soccer game not expecting too much more then a great tasting meal and I'm never disappointed. BURGER WAS DRY WITH SOGGY BUN CHILI CHEESE FRIES TASTED LIKE POTTED MEAT PASTRAMI WAS TOUGH AND BLAN Now too the payment of my terrible meal. They accept debit with a few strings attached. They charge in increments of $10 & give u cash back. The sign says the "atm" fee is .99¢. Let me break it down. My meal cost $11.25 My card was charged $21.25 The additional fee was $2.50(charged to my account later) + .99¢(added at the register before taxes) In total I was charged $14.74 for a burger fries and drink. Came here on Tuesday for lunch with the big boss. I ordered the turkey club sandwich combo. A few min later our order was ready for pick up at the window. WTHeeeellll? That was no plate but a freakin TROTH of food! I could feel the food coma coming and I haven't even started on the food. The fries where extra crispy but very salty. The turkey club was good but the bacon was extremly salty. It also came with a few onion rings which had a heavy batter. But very crispy and yummy. The portions are way to large. You have to have a big appetite to come eat here, or at least starving for a few days. Good news is that you get to wash down your salty food with endless fountain drinks. I work in Long Beach, I been here two times I ordered a burrito two eggs avocado and one piece of bacon, the ladie at the register tried to charge me $8.15, I asked why it was so much she looked at me and got mad and really rudely asked me do you want it I said no not for 8.15.
