Everything here is solid. Food is well seasoned, portions are generous and the service makes you feel at home! Plenty of free parking. They do have a drive-thru. They have renovated a few times and the place always smells clean. Prices are still affordable even with inflation. read more

After a long day working in Downtown LA, I was starving by the time I reached Carson. I searched for breakfast spots near Vermont and the UCLA Harbor Center, and Ted's burgers in Carson, 2220 and main popped up with 4.0 stars--so glad I stopped by! This cozy, family-owned restaurant did not disappoint. I ordered their avocado omelette, loaded with bacon and cheese, served with crispy hashbrowns, plus a coffee. Everything was delicious! (Check out the pics!) The place is spacious, conveniently located near the 110 freeway, and even offers patio seating. The staff, especially Gaby, were super friendly and helpful. I've been going to this place for years, but after the pandemic, I stopped. The quality of the food went really downhill. Last week, to stave off starvation, I decided to order an omelette. It was dry and terrible. The next day I drove by and saw that have a "B" from the health department. This used to be my go to, but not anymore. Do better. read more

A Carson staple! I've been going here ever since I was a kid. I think I've gone here in every stage of life and I still love it until this day. It's one of my comfort spots. The food is still like it used to be when I was a kid (go-tos are the pastrami sandwich, chili cheese fries with pastrami on it, zucchini fries, and all meat burrito). The portions haven't changed either, which is great. I usually only do drive-thru and the service I've gotten is usually good. They're usually friendly and quick. read more

This place has been here forever! Been coming here since I was a kid! Located next to St Philomena, it's usually always decently occupied. The food is good, but remember that its a hole in the wall w your standard fare. We usually come for breakfast and order the same thing. Service is fast, but what makes this place memorable is the lovely lady who greets all the guests w a smile and makes you feel welcome. She chats w guests and always has a smile on her face!!! Best stinking fries this side of the Mississippi I mean Fries are fries are fries right guys? but they season them right som one knows what they're doing. Hot crispy. Sure they cost over five bucks but they practically fill the bag that they came in Service is good and polite. I used the drive through so can't really comment on the ambience . Drive through speaker work. The menu was intact and had nice pictures And in comparison to a nearby, flame, broiled burger place, whose name I won't mention, but it starts with yellow and ends with basket where they use no seasoning no salt. Went here to pick up some Asada Fries my wife wanted for valentines day. I did skim though the menu before ordering and everything was fairly priced. The service was top notch and the workers freely conversed with the patrons. The place gave off the vibe of what Carson was like in the 80s. People just getting along. My order only took 5 minutes to make and it was very hot. It took me 30 minutes to drive to my wife's workplace when we started to dig in. The food was still warm at that time so that was good. Fries were salted just enough, cheese was gooey, and the Carne Asada was very delicous and juicy. My wife kept raving about the asada fries during her lunch break haha. My father and I used to drop by here in the 90s. Looks like I'll be bringing my wife and kids here and show them whats up :) read more

When you find a place where the sheriff's finest go for breakfast, you know the spot is legit. The service is the best for warm friendly take care of you down home goodness. Plenty of parking along the side and in back. There's a drive-thru for takeout orders. Inside is clean and simple. Go up to the counter, the menu board is easy to read. Order, pay and have a seat. There's also a covered patio along the front. I had your basic, scramble eggs, bacon, home fried potatoes and buttered toast. Delicious. The bacon had just the right amount of crispy existence. "What do you mean existence?" The bacon thought it existed and so it did, crispy and all. I was asked what kind of toast and I said white and Rosie the super friendly one asked "buttered?" Oh, yes! My food arrived a couple of minutes later with a smile. And they check up on your often to make sure your coffee (or other needs) are in check. I'll be back to try lunch. read more

Went to pick up my Uber eats pick up , and someone picked it up tried to cancel my order couldn't do nothing and I told the lady said she gave it to a guy and said there's nothing she can do but charge me regular, so I ended up getting the same order and paying for it ... nasty asada fries the asada was chewy you can tell it's from last week and my breakfast burrito had a nasty red sauce taste like ketchup wid salsa would not recommend this place at all read more

It's a neighborhood favorite located on Main Street and 220th in Carson. I grew up patronizing Ted's Burgers and as my parents and I are on the verge of saying goodbye to the South Bay, I have to leave a review. I've frequently gotten zucchini fries, chili cheese fries, and horchata at this Ted's. It's like home. It might not be the crispiest fries or as much meat or cheese as I would like, but the staff are friendly, always cooked to order, and still satisfying. There is just something incredibly comforting knowing I can just find myself here after school or church or before choir practice growing up. Still a fan! read more

Also have some healthy options and plenty of breakfast but what makes this place a five star is the service specially provided by the older short lady with glasses did not catch her name, but her service is amazing. They just don't make people like her anymore. She goes above and beyond and takes care of you as if you were family. read more

i can not stress enough how great this family owned business is. Their customer service is unmatched and has truly set the standard for me going forward. With such a large variety on their menu, you're bound to find something you like. i've been eating here since high school and they say hi with a welcoming smile. Breakfast and cheeseburgers here are delicious!! The caramel ice coffee is good but, it depends on who makes it sometimes they do not put enough coffee. Definitely pass on quesadillas and Mexican burritos not the best. The service here is amazing everyone is always friendly and attentive always checking up on you even when it's busy which is during the weekends. The only negative I have is that I wished they brought your order all at once and they bring it out as it's ready which is fresh but, now I have to wait for the other dishes for my group which sometimes can be from 2-5 minutes more. The place is always clean they have a lot of inside seating and outside another negative is that the drive through to be able to pay and get your food is located on the passenger window so sometimes you have to stretch out to be able to give your payment and get your food but, if you have someone on your passenger side you'll be fine. Can't wait to try more items from here. read more

I finished the beer and ordered a small beer but I started feeling really dizzy during this time. And not from drinking. If you've ever been roofied you know this exact feeling. Things are moving slower. You're spinning. You don't have full control. And you could pass out at any second. Thankfully I got home but it continued in a shower I took to try and wake up, but that didn't work. On my sofa I passed out. And woke up the next day still not feeling good. Still needing to lay down and needing more sleep. Another night passed where I slept early. Like I was knocked out. And today, Friday I finally felt like it was all out of my system. And this all happened because I went to Slip. This is not a fluke. It was not an accident. It happened to me and it can happen to you too. It can happen anywhere maybe, or maybe not. But what's for sure is it happened to me there. If you're with Slip and you're reading this, do not try and make me an offer to return. I won't. Ever.

I've tried their other location and I like the small business feel of the place. The shishito peppers are good, very greasy though and the sauce wasn't anything unique, it did the job. The burgers are good, every time I come back, I'm reminded how a lot of the options seem to be on the sweeter side and I'm personally a savory burger gal. Maybe this is a sign to bring my own hot sauce. Anyways, this is a good place to support, just gotta be in a specific craving.
