Horrible. Took my vacuum to see if it was clogged. They charged me $50 to tell me that nothing was wrong. We took the vacuum home, still had problems. We then took it apart to find a huge clog. Not impressed. read more

Guy at Carson City Vacuum is one of the most helpful and customer service oriented guys we have ever run into in pretty much any business. They have been in business since 1970. He helps us when we have vacuum issues and stays on target with communication and follow-up. When we had issues with a vacuum we bought years earlier from his business he worked diligently to make sure we were happy and satisfied with an outcome that worked for us. First let me say I have been a long time customer of this shop. Between buying vacuums, sewing machines and service it has to be over 1500.00 I've spent there and I will never spend another dime. I took my vacuum in for a tuneup. There wasn't a whole lot wrong with it, just burning rubber from the belt which we could have easily changed ourselves, but it's been a while since it had an overhaul so I took it in. I get a quote of 125. I'm told the filters will be cleaned, brushes cleaned, motor blown out. I question why the filters aren't being replaced for that much, and am told she can clean them just as well. Uh-huh. I would swear back in the day for a tuneup you got new filters, new brushes for your rollers, new rubber band and anything else was extra. Whatever, it's there, just do it. I pick up my vacuum on Saturday, use it Sunday morning for a few minutes and it's making a horrible noise and rubber is flying. I thought the rubber band had broken so I just took it back in on Monday assuming it would be fixed. I didn't really bother looking at anything because of that. Turns out one of the roller brushes came out of the track. The girl tells me it will be 20 dollars to fix it. I about blew a gasket. I just spent 125 dollars here for something I could have done myself and you want another 20 bucks for something you probably caused? She accused me of running over something with the vacuum. That absolutely did NOT happen. For goodness sake, I can BUY a new vacuum for less than they charged me to tune mine up. Granted not a Simplicity or Riccar, but a vacuum that will work well enough for a year which is about how often I get tune ups on my more expensive vacuums.Brought the vacuum home, changed the brush myself for just the cost of the brush. I am a small business owner myself, customer service is SO important, and there clearly is none here. So disappointed. read more

Dealt with them 3 times, 2 times they tried to tell me parts that were just replaced were bad and needed replaced. 1 of those they didn't fix the actual part that was bad, then wanted to replace a part they just replaced the first visit. 3rt time they did repairs without authorization, then demanded I pay them or they wouldn't give me back the vacuum. read more

Guy seems lost cannot work register doent answer questions. I had a clog in a vacuum he sold me and he wanted to take the vacumm in and service it. I told him I just bought it and he looked at me like I was an alien. read more

Took my vacuum in to get serviced they called me and said it was ready I drove in from Yerington to find out that it wasn't ready then they called me again and said it was ready so when I came in the old guy I was trying to sell a vacuum and allI needed was to pay for my vacuum there was three people standing back there two men and one woman ,I said can I just pay for my vacuum they said no I had to wait for the old man and I said using the F bomb just get my vacuum they proceeded to call me a slut a whore bitch over and over they Tagteam calling me names filthy names finally the women left. and they kept threatening to call the police I beg them to call the police ,in the meantime I was in a hurry because my husband had cancer and was very sick which is now died, I was so shook up over such horrible behavior and that's what happens when you use privately owned business they can treat you any way they want they have your product held hostage and you will wait until they release it to you charged me $130 and it works worse than it did when I took it in never step foot back in that place again read more
