8/25/26- My first time...and I know this is going to be my regular.. I was in search of getting an alteration done, but sadly that is not one of the services provided.. Customer service went above and beyond with a referral to have my pants altered.. This is the only dry cleaning service in the Reno area that uses exclusively organic, water-based, and nontoxic cleaning agents. Needless to say my UC Davis master's program son, would definitely approve.. There are several cleaners in my neighborhood.. but honestly, I felt so comfortable. I had an emergency for an upcoming event that I needed my suit dry cleaned before 10 am the next day. When I went in I was attended by I think Christa. (Thats who I received the text from when my suit was ready) She is super friendly and very accommodating for my emergency rush order. She said it would be done before 10 am the next day, but to my delighted surprise It was ready at 5:30 pm the same day I went in! It was truly appreciated and if I could give more stars, I would. I came to spot with about 12 tablecloths or varying quality and one custom suit. The suit had some wear schmutz on it and we needed it perfect for a wedding. We just need the table cloths pressed. Chris does a great job and she is friendly as heck but, I've been a little frustrated with her pricing several times. One time, I asked her to have a dress shirt ready for an event where I needed to wear it. This wasn't a rush it was like 5 days. She said no problem. Then when I got the bill, it was larger than normal and when I asked why she said, oh, i had to dry clean it to get it to you on time so it costs more. I was not happy with this. She never told me in advance that it was going to be more she just said no problem. Next, I picked up a few shirts and use my debit card. She said the amount and I never got my receipt. Then looking at my statement a few days later I noticed that the amount she actually charged was higher than what she stated. I asked her at the next visit and she said that all credit/debit charges come with a service charge. I was never informed of these charges and no where in the store did I ever see a sign posted stating these charges. Finally, that last time I went there and I picked up a few shirts and she gave me the total, it was higher than past transactions so I asked if she was sure that the amount was correct. She said, "oh prices have gone up." No, "sorry." No letting me know/informing me of the increased/changed prices. No signs communicating this in the store front. NOTHING. Unfortunately that was my last straw. In spite of the fact that she does a good job, her communication about pricing and charges has ticked me off and I don't feel that it is good customer service. For that reason, I wont be able to return as a customer. I cannot give my highest recommendation. read more

I recently moved to Reno & currently work two jobs. Working two jobs, I have a very tight schedule and needed a dry-cleaner that could work with my schedule. I usually have four pairs of slacks which I need cleaned every two weeks. First I tried Bobby Page's, however they would always take too long to finish my dry-cleaning with wait times of up to a week and a half! I was so thankful to find Chris at Spot Cleaners, as she always works with me to get my dry-cleaning done in a suitable timeframe for my needs. Even if she is busy, she always finds a way to get my order done in the timeframe I need. Being a salesman I have to look good! Chris does a wonderful job cleaning my clothes as well & my slacks always look pristine. An added benefit is that unlike most dry-cleaners, Chris avoids using harsh chemicals which is better for my clothes and the environment. We only had a few days to get it done, and Christa (the owner, I think) bent over backwards to make that happen for us. We actually ended up having a day less, because her store was going to be closed an extra day, but she made sure that his suit was ready to go in plenty of time. I was looking for a dry cleaners close to my hotel and Yelp steered me in the right direction. I dropped of my dry cleaning on Monday night and was going to pick it up on Wednesday night. I came back on Wed night right before close to pick up my items. I was informed a button on one of my suit jackets fell off during the cleaning process. The owner apologized and said she would be happy to get the button sewn back on if I could pick up the items the following day. I wasn't in a rush, so that worked fine for me.
