The venue had a large round table that would sit 10 comfortably, but they had 11 people per table. It was hard to maneuver around the tables and guests without crossing in front of the guest speakers. At one point, we couldn't figure out where the extra sound of music was coming from during one of the presentations. I heard it coming from the kitchen. The bathroom had 3 stalls on one side and 4 plus a handicapped stall on the other side. They had a hands-free sensor for the toilets flushing mechanism, which I thought was amazing. They also used high quality paper towels and provided little plastic cups for mouthwash. The breakfast selections were awesome. There was this whipped yogurt that was thick and fluffy, almost like cream cheese. They had this tomato parmesan croissant that was aromatic and I wanted more (I had 3). The custard Danish was delicious too. Lunch selection was pretty good too. Their pasta dish was cold, but filling. Their chicken and salmon were cooked perfectly, wasnt dry. Their smoked gouda mac and cheese wasnt creamy, but wasnt fully dry either. I really enjoyed the barley that came with the salmon. The potatoes were my least favorite, I thought it was too dry and very salty. As far as the golf course, you need to be a resident to get a discount ($10k), and there is a monthly fee after the annual price of $50k. The course looked amazing, not too many people out during my visit, but it had the hills, the sand pits, a lot of green fields.

Jessica would not respond to calls, emails or text. Her contract states a $300 refundable deposit is required. In June I'm still emailing asking for my deposit. She finally writes back after days stating she the deposit will be processed. July and she still did not refund me. So I give her a written 10 day notice stating if my deposit is not refunded I plan to take legal action. On July 24 she refund my deposit with an email stating she was traveling and if I had asked for an update would provided the same outcome. She rudely says she wish me the best with my future events but elsewhere. You kept my money for 3 1/2 month begging for it

Where can you find good service like that, for that low price? I have never had an issue with pick-up, the drivers are always cool and usually one on that same route, so the consistency is good for kids. Her school didn't let her wait outside, so the driver would have to get out to pick her up from the office, which was very cool because most places would not do that when I asked. The staff is awesome, Miss Claudia always knows me and sometimes when she sees me walking up I can hear her already calling the lil one over the overhead speaker. She is always accommodating and helps out. Miss Rudi is, well was the director and she is the best! Very caring and calm with the kids and parents. I trust them all with the care and tutoring they provide. My only negative is that the lil one is one of the youngest there and hangs out with the older kids (even though middle/high are not in the same area) which I have had several talks about and kids will be kids!! The staff did put a stop to it when I told them about it though, so it worked out. Also, I like how they correct the kids mouths there. You know how middle/high school kids can be rude and think their sh!t don't stink, well they are constantly being corrected on the spot and I like that. If you are trying to find a place to pick up and have your kid stay after school, try the Boys and Girls Club out! They offer a lot of various classes and field trips for them. From baking, to Math, to how to act properly, to Football, to dance, they seem to have it all.

The menu looked extremely intriguing with a creative blend of Latin American food as well as Middle Eastern food. What was really interesting is that the mail takes place in a home. Chef Wendy explained that they are the first home kitchen permitted by the health department. I did not know about this permit, but find it absolutely wonderful. It's also a great way for talented chefs to manage timing, budget and other specifics. The night we went there were a couple of friends assisting her in the kitchen and with photography of the evening. The house is large and comfortable as well as tastefully furnished. The table settings matched the theme of the meal. There are other events, besides the chef's tasting menu, including a tea service, which I would definitely like to try. All parties met in the garden and we were promptly served pomegranate citrus,mocktails, as well as lamb or vegetable dumplings as an amuse bouche. The chef explained that the fusion of the food comes from her Latina heritage as well as her husband's Persian heritage. The male also had some Turkish touches. Since the menu is posted for reference, I won't go into a lot of detail. The heart of palm vegetarian ceviche with crispy plantains with a fresh and flavorful start to the meal. I truly enjoyed the chicken El Pastor style tacos, which were served on Middle Eastern bread, along with an onion, herb salad, and toum, the fantastic garlic spread. All flavors went well together and I did not miss the salsa. The salmon truly had a crispy skin and worked wonderfully with their fragrant rice dish. I got quite full before this steak came out and asked to take it home after tasting a few bites. Even after heating it up the following day, it remained extremely tender and did not overcook. The chimichurri sauce was fantastic and the chef left the sauce at the table to add more. I don't particularly have a sweet tooth, but was extremely impressed with the dessert. The Tres leches cake was enhanced with cardamom and rosewater and sprinkled with a pistachio dust. Some of these flavors can taste perfume me, but the chef balanced it so well and had a light touch with the strong flavors. The cake itself definitely stood out. I finished every bite. The mint tea at dessert as well as the pomegranate drink served throughout the meal were extremely refreshing. The groups were split up among three tables and the table I sat in was in the dining room. The guests were extremely lively and interesting and overall I had a wonderful time.

Our CARSON EAGLES is a private national organization, but we have some functions that are open to…read moreguests (and to the public on rare occasions). Membership only happens when another Eagle member recommends you. Membership fees are quite modest and since we are a 'national' organization, your membership card is YOUR personal passport to ALL Eagles Aries (lodges) in America! A member visiting from out of town is welcome to bring guests to any Eagles Arie as long as it's not meeting night for them. The Carson Eagles has a long history of doing great things for the Carson community and we take great pride in that. Most of the schools in Carson (in example) have received our donations and we are happy to help them in one form or another. The Eagles have many 'national projects' as well. Dances, Ladies Darts (Tuesday nites), monthly Birthday celebrations and more! Dances with live bands and/or DJ happen often too. "The Dew Drops" performed for everyone just two weeks ago and the performance was awesome! We celebrate them all: Valentines, Cinco De Mayo, Saint Patty's day and ALL of the major holidays right up to Christmas. Great dinners too. The best news it that you will meet many NEW friends with many skills and talents. While we DO have MANY members who have been Eagles for decades (myself included), it's GREAT to see how our membership is growing younger and younger! We hope the LAST reason you will join is for our private bar (guests with members are welcome). We have fixings for your favorite brew from mixed drinks ~ tequila ~ wine ~ champagne ~ to tap beer(s) and more! There are weekly and monthly specials and all other prices are quite reasonable as well. Today (May 19th, 2015) our (private ('wet')) bus just returned from Laughlin! Although we went just a few months ago many members (and a few of their guests) were eager to go again! There are also trips to casinos and a NEW trip to Las Vegas is in the works for October... THAT will be FUN TOO! If you know a Eagles member ask him or her to INVITE YOU... I know you will be impressed. IMPORTANT: Please know the EAGLES offers a safe, fun and private environment.
