I sent a message through yelp and got a response the next day that it would be $350. He then said that before proceeding he would have to inspect the vehicle because it was over 20 years old and asked for my address, so I gave it to him. Four days later he tells me he can't do it because it wasn't a running vehicle. Funny enough I was driving the vehicle back from the store when I got the text. It has been 5 days of run around and poor communication and now I am back to square one to find someone to replace my cracked window. Chips mobile Glass Repair was a giant waste of my time. REPLY to his response: I contacted you about a 2001 Lexus. I gave you my phone number! My most charitable guess is that you came to my house when I wasn't home, without contacting me first, and saw a 1982 Toyota Land Cruiser project sitting by my shop and somehow could not tell the difference between the two cars and still wouldn't call or ask any questions. If you answered your phone or called anyone back this could have been sorted out in 2 minutes! This has been a ridiculously frustrating experience and very unprofessional behavior. I called him to sort it out and he cussed and yelled at me and wouldn't listen to a thing I said. This was shockingly horrible behavior.

I have had this done many times and usually had to be shown where the repair was made because it usually just about disappears. The employee said it was guaranteed not to crack or your money back. It cracked above and below the repair so I called them up for reimbursement and they said, "no problem, as long as you get a new windshield from us"...they left that part out when discussing it with me in person. They were very polite and friendly. Took about 30 minutes, start to finish. Sat in their comfortable lobby surfing on my phone, watching them work, drinking Keurig French roast umm hmm good. Installation was very professional. Cost was exactly what they told me over the phone. Would use Act Fast again in a heartbeat. Completely happy and satisfied!
