I used CarStar Brunswick, as my Geico insurance recommended. My car was stolen and had multiple damages that had to be fixed; a bumper, side mirror, and sun sensor & rear view mirror replacement which caused multiple electrical/dash issues. A week after receiving the estimate, we were told to bring the car in. About 4 days later, they mentioned they had to order a part for the rear view mirror therefore, at that time only had fixed the bumper & side mirror. Not a problem, we picked the car up & I was able to drive it until the part came in. So after another week, they told us to bring the car back in (Tuesday) & we were told, once they got to my car, it would only take a day to fix. Two days after we dropped the car off (Thursday), we received a call that they ordered the incorrect part (which they stated was not their fault, so not to be mad at them) so they would have to reorder & wait another 2 days. We mentioned we already started the process of trading this car in & needed it fixed ASAP. They stated the new part would arrive in 2-5 days. Unfortunately it took until the following Wednesday for the part to arrive, and they had it installed Friday and was finally ready to pick up. My husband and I arrived this past Saturday to pick up the car, I get in and noticed they didn't fix the sun sensor (which we left in the cup holder for them -turns out they lost it) nor did they fix the dash issues. So AGAIN, we had to leave the car for them to reorder another sun sensor & fix the dash/electrical isssues. Finally yesterday (Tuesday) the car was 100% fixed, however it only took four attempts. My wife tore the roof antenna off of an employer's car, so we had to fix it. I took it to CARSTAR and showed them the problem and the time allotted to fix it, they said "no problem, we can fix it. I expressed our desperate situation and they agreed. When I picked up the car, the roof was still slightly con caved, and a crappy caulk job that was supposed to look like and extension of the antenna housing to the roof- I was displeased to say the least, so I called the man who promised me "a good job" and they took it back in and tried again.....they half aresed it again and I asked them if this is what they call "a good job" and they responded that it would take a lot more $ which I would've been happy to pay for if he told me that up front. So we took it to the dealer, and put up with the sour attitude from her boss for a week before he got the car back. She now is on their insurance. The end. read more
