I ran my brand new truck into a fence - so you can imagine the mood I was in going here. They were referred to me by the lot that we bought the truck from. I told them that I needed to get the truck back for Christmas Eve as I had family visiting and we were headed to the mountains. It was a 4 day estimated repair, but it was do-able. I called on the 23rd, only to find out the bumper had come in twice damaged. They put a rush order to have a 3rd one delivered first thing on the 24th...and the manage had called in his 3m guy on his day off. THEY GOT IT DONE. SO refreshing to see an organization take customer service so seriously, to make accommodations to meet deadlines. FABULOUS group! We didn't want it to go to the impound lot where we would be charged big bucks. So, in our panic we thought, take it to Boyd's. It was a Friday after they were closed, so there was no-one to speak to. I left them a phone message explaining what was up and that we would have it removed as soon as we could. It took 5 days to make arrangements and they were kind enough to let us leave it in front of their building. The WORST experience, please (!) find somewhere else to bring your vehicle…read more I called around the Douglasdale / SE area for a new windshield and based on pricing, I selected Go Glass & Accessories as they were approximately $20 cheaper than the competition and had good reviews on Yelp. Lesson learned....you get what you pay for. The one positive experience that I had with Go that I would like to start with, was with the receptionist. An appointment was available the next day, and she was very helpful and friendly throughout the process. HOWEVER, upon picking up my vehicle and taking it home for my husband to look at we were extremely disappointed and surprised with the poor quality of workmanship. The gaskets used were after-market and were for a Dodge Caravan. I drive a Toyota 4Runner and the gaskets literally fell off the same day. There was urethane smeared on the inside of the car, as well as dirt and marks, that should have been cleaned up. There were also scratches on the A-bar. The windshield made loud whistling noises, that they said would stop in a few weeks, who knows if this is true. The part that disappointed me the most was that there was a small scratch mark on the dash either from glass or a tool that was used. I understand that accidents happen and I do not expect Go to repair my dashboard, and while the mark was small it is still annoying to have damage done to your vehicle. However, when I brought it to their attention, Remon, who I believe was the owner, said that he did not believe me that the mark was not there before I brought it in, that his technicians do not lie and would have told them if they made a nick in my dash. While I of course do not have proof that the nick was not there before (it definitely was not), I think it is very poor customer service to accuse your customer of lying, especially when combined with the obviously terrible job they did with replacing the windshield. Remon offered to clean up my vehicle and try to install the windshield again. When I chose to take my vehicle somewhere more trustworthy, he did agree to provide me with a full refund, which was more than warranted. However, because I was getting a refund, he said that he would take the new windshield that they installed back (which is fine), but he wouldn't put my old one back in. He wanted me to drive my car somewhere else, without a windshield... I instead took my car to Easy Autoglass which is down the street and where the company I work for has had their fleet vehicles serviced for years. While it may be nominally more expensive, they are reputable, timely and do high quality work. Again, please, do yourself a favor. Save yourself time and the headache and bring it to Easy Autoglass or any other reputable company other than Go in SE Calgary. Lesson learned.

Lenny was a pleasure to speak to on the phone and in person when I first arrived. She was able to answer all my questions and fit me in to the schedule right away. My vehicle fell victim to golf ball sized hail which left it with 30 or so dents. Their garage and showroom is clean, organized and comfortable. Paolo was my rep and was super friendly and answered all my questions about the process. I like to have some knowledge about the process before making a decision on car repairs (I treat my vehicles with the utmost care). Confident PDR was able to repair all the hail damage and even went the extra mile to catch dents that the insurance appraiser missed. I got my car back and couldn't even tell it had any dents whatsoever. My car came back clean and looking better than ever. I can recommend no one else when it comes to paintless dent repair work in Calgary.

Even though YOU don't physically hurt, you still feel the pain vicariously. Such was the case when I stepped out of the Toad N' Turtle after a night of wings and beer to see my battered Acura. I went through the various stages of "car damage grief" - first, I denied the damage was as bad as I thought. Then, I got angry - furious with a righteous fervour against all of nature, the only enemy I couldn't sucker punch. I soon reached depression - this was going to cost me. I would need to pick up a lot more freelance writing projects about hotels and monkey sex and whatnot to pay it off. Why oh why do I insist on driving anything other than a beater? Because of heated seats and the ability to pass anybody any time I feel like it and the fact that it makes me feel like an over accomplished 20-something even though I'm not. That's why. Sigh. So I begrudgingly called my insurance company. As fate would have it, thousands of cars became dimpled messes during that downpour, so I would have to wait almost 8 months to get in anywhere. When the phone call finally did come from Confident PDR (the PDR stands for paintless dent removal), I could barely hear the girl on the other end. Now, I was in a touring band for awhile which left me with a terrible case of "ring-all-the-time" ears, but I'm certainly not deaf. After cranking up my phone and barking like a senior, I had an appointment set up for the next day (hooray! Speediness at last!) for an assessment. I arrived at the shop bright and early, eager to pick up my rental (I was SURE they were going to lend me an Audi R8) from Enterprise and get to work. Now, not that you should really care about the aesthetics of the car shop fixing your dents, but I just wanted to say that I have no idea how the people who work here go there every day without feeling a soul-crushing depression.There's no art on the walls, no color anywhere - just white, some desks and a stout little coffee machine gurgling away in the corner. But then - what's this?! I was accosted by an extremely cute Yorkie that seemed to brighten the room right up. A guy took my keys and went out to look at my car. I played with the dog, who seemed particularly fond of slowly inching out of petting range, then whining until I moved over to scratch it some more. Alas, all that cuteness couldn't prepare me for the shock that was to come. $3,000+ dollars in damage. Yikes. Even given the damage on my car, that seemed a bit high - I'd had two doors repaired and repainted after some crazy lady backed into me and it came to only slightly more than what they were charging. Then again, I don't really know what's involved in bodywork, so, that could be totally reasonable. Thank the Lord for insurance. So I dropped off my car the next Monday, was told it would take three business days. Guess what?! It took exactly one. I got my car back Wednesday morning. FAST! EFFICIENT! And my car no longer looks like a golf ball. The staff was friendly and the phone calls were prompt - and that darn little dog is just too cute. At the end of the day, this is a reliable place to get your dents taken out - and it was fast too. Staff are friendly, but they do need to turn up their phone; and for pete's sake, at $3,000 a pop, you can afford to put up a poster or something. Would recommend.

They will use the door sill on your vehicle to stand on leaving black glue from their boots on it. The interior will need detailing as the vehicle will never be returned in the same condition as it went in. As well the previous installation had scratches on the door pillar beside the windshield. The installers do not care. Better off to pay a little more and go elsewhere which is what I will do for any future windshields.

Also got 3 chip fixes free over the next year and a coupon for $130 off my next or anyone's next windshield replacement. They are a Customer Choice Winner since 2003 and I see why.
