Avoid this place lets see why. So i got into a collision and the first thing Adam does is take a picture and indicates he needs me to let the adjuster know to contact him for estamates. He deemed the car drivable but one light was not working. Two weeks later after my adjuster settled the claim indicated to take the car to the shop. He was complainingg how he has a small shop and estamates wont be done till 2 to 3 weeks. Maybe that applies to small shops . They lied to my adjuster sayingg they made a price quote . So we went to a great body shop, who deemed it was not drivable one light and the cruise control is damaged, tires shaking! That's liability. The new body shop handled this well. This bodyshop for collision should BE AVOIDED due to their lack of professionalism, horrible service. Small shop should not handle the collisions, stick to what you can handle and also learn how to communicate promptly. Dishonest practice is common in this city but glad this happened as now we have a much better experience and we will have insurance company to not recommend this body shop that can't handle cars staying at the location. That's what i was told and i promised to provide a proper review to my team. Brought my car in November 2022 to have the spark plugs changed. July 2023 my car started acting up again. I took it elsewhere and Carstar put the wrong spark plugs on and charged over double what this new shop charged. This place just takes advantage of people, over charging and no quality. read more

if you need a rental vehicle while your car is being repaired after an accident do not use them to arrange it. They will lie and say there are no vehicles available in your class from any locations and leave you stuck with the one they want you to use. Then lie again when you find a vehicle at another location by saying your insurance company would not like you to change. When called on that lie I was brought an old vehicle in that class and while an another rental place that the insurance company would use tried calling them to switch me they would not. So my advice don't use them at all your insurance company will give you other choices. read more

They gave an estimate of $2500 and three days to repair my car. They ended up taking 7 days and charging $5400. No additional repairs were done beyond the initial estimate so no excuse for the extra time or the extra charges. I'd go anywhere else in the future but not to those people. read more

After the experience I had with Carstar Collision I would seriously advise anyone requiring bodywork on their vehicle to go elsewhere. I could bore you with details but briefly I had an estimate from the shop to repair my vehicle damaged in a parking lot. My insurance company insisted that I take my vehicle to Carstar. The insurance company refused to repair the vehicle and instead gave me a lump sum to have it repaired myself. Since Carstar had already quoted on the repairs and located the parts in a yard in the US I decided to have them go ahead and complete the work. The assessor showed me the vehicle the parts were coming from on his computer. The parts were ordered and I was told I would be called back to schedule a date to bring the vehicle in once the parts arrived. They strung me along for four weeks until I finally called to find out why I had not been called to schedule the work. Their answer was that the vehicle the parts were coming from, was damaged, and, you guessed it, the exact parts I needed were damaged! Furthermore they did not offer to find an alternate source nor anything else for that matter. Even if, by any stretch of the imagination this story had any semblance to truth, why did they not call me beforehand to tell me? If they were not interested in doing the work any longer could they not have done the proper, responsible thing and called me and advised me rather than have kept me guessing as to what was going on? This episode left a bad taste in my mouth and I would, again reiterate that if you require bodywork on your vehicle think very carefully before choosing this business. read more
