As someone who used to admire their work and loved eating breakfast at their store, I feel disappointed and treated unfairly. I brought my motorcycle here to get painted after someone bumped and dropped it. They gave me a quote which was under $1000, so I didnt bother going through insurance, and the person who dropped my bike paid fully for the damages. After they prepping and priming the damaged body parts they contacted me and told me the matching paint was not available. I had no other choice but to pay out of pocket to get the entire bike painted (roughly a $3000 job). A year later the paint started chipping and peeling, underneath the chipped areas, it was noticeable that there was no primer in some areas. They stated that their paint jobs have a lifetime warranty, however, they put the blame on me saying I tapered with it. Another shop told me it was a poorly done paint job with little to no flexing agent. For those who dont own a six figure vehicle, I do not recommend this place, I will not come back and yes my bike looks like crap now. read more

I cannot say enough wonderful things about this shop. I brought my car to this shop after a collision and the service I received was unparalleled. As soon as I walked in, the girls at the front were super friendly and welcoming. Josh was my contact person and he was absolutely wonderful. He patiently put up with my daily questions regarding my lengthy and frustrating insurance battle. He advocated on my behalf and would reach out to me to update me on things when my insurance company didn't bother to. He was extremely knowledgeable and an absolute pleasure to deal with. The work this shop does is in a class of its own, your car will look better than it did before any accident. They were also great in providing me with a rental car for the entire duration, even when my insurance coverage expired. This place shouldn't even be considered a body shop, it is truly something else and the customer service is some of the best I have ever experienced. You have a customer for life! read more

To start, Formula First Collision is as good of a body shop as it gets. Outstanding work, and unparalleled customer service. I was involved in an accident in which my vehicle was deemed a total loss, and had numerous issues with my insurance company. This shop will go out of their way to help you as described below. The first thing these guys did was to provide free storage of my car on their property. After storing my vehicle here for a few days, my insurance company decides to cut off paying for storage fees since it was deemed a total loss. Franco went out of his way to provide free storage for my vehicle while I disputed this decision with insurance. The second thing is that they have a quite unique policy in which they provide free use of a rental car if you are already in one of their rentals, while your vehicle is being repaired in the case that the repairs take longer to complete than expected. This was extremely convenient since my insurance company chose to cut off on paying for a rental the day repairs were supposed to be completed. Again, these guys stepped up, and I got to continue driving their rental car free of charge for the next five days it took for repairs to finish. The third thing was that my car had a rust hole in the rear quarter panel, on the inner wheel well lip in front of the rear wheel near the side skirt. It was not on the quote, but the hole was repaired with fibreglass and filler, and should not rust if properly cared for and cleaned regularly. After three weeks, my insurance company eventually decided to repair my vehicle. It was damaged right where the door meets the rear quarter panel, and had a big dent and a lot of scrapes. The dent was pulled, filled with as little filler as possible, and refinished. Now that the repairs are complete, that one side looks better than the side that did not get repaired! You can't even tell that the car had an accident. After the repairs were completed I was allowed to salvage whatever parts I wanted from the vehicle. I was even provided a stand to place the original damaged door on and pick whatever I wanted from it (since my car got a used OEM door). A couple small things: there was that a very tiny section (3mm in diameter) of the rear quarter panel on the inner lip of the wheel well was not painted (covered in primer). It's not a big deal since unless you were specifically looking for this, you would never notice. Unfortunately they did not have any of my paint remaining from the repair, so the touch-up is a noticeably different shade of blue. Again, this spot is literally inside the wheel well, so unless you were specifically looking for it you would never ever find it. The second thing was that it seems a very tiny dent (about 2mm in diameter, can only be seen under certain lighting conditions and can only be seen on a decently clean car) in the roof rail was not caught during the repair. However I am unsure if this was deliberate since that would add to the cost of the repairs, which would sway my extremely stubborn insurance company to not change their mind and probably still total the car. Totally understandable, as this was damage that previously existed before the accident. Again, this is something that any regular person will not notice, and it's not a big deal. These two small things are very very very minor gripes that I had, but at that point I'm just nitpicking. I am extremely OCD about my vehicles and these are just the things I have noted while inspecting my car after it was repaired. The quality of their work is unmatched in any body shop in Windsor for sure, and they would definitely match or exceed the quality of work in any of the best body shops in Ontario. Overall, this experience has highly exceeded my expectations about the repair as well as the service. Even if you live in Toronto (I do) I would still spend the time and effort to drive down to Windsor for any of their auto body services. read more
