Purchased a set of new Crown batteries, with 2 year replacement warranty. I've never had a battery set last less than 5 years in my cart. These batteries failed after 20 months. No service available at the El Toro Rd. location. Cart Mart said they would have their service department call me from another location, and I would be required to pay a service call fee for Cart Mart to check my battery condition. I agreed to these requirements. Cart Mart service department never called. Cart Mart El Toro never called back. No warranty coverage. No response at all. Unreliable. No local service. Poor products. If it wasn't for our salesman Jerod Morgan we would have canceled our order. Jerod was amazing. He was knowledgeable, friendly, not a pushy salesman and explained everything about our purchase. The negative and the reason we almost canceled was the finance people. We paid cash and were quoted a specific price along with a written quote which we agreed too. At the delivery of our cart, Cart Mart tried to increase the price without notifying us of the increase. Dealing with the finance woman she tried giving excuses as to why the price increase without the company notifying us. However, we had a contract written by them for a specific price we all had agreed upon and eventually she hung up on me. Later she called the poor delivery guy back, whose phone I was using to talk to her on, and she told him to "just take what I thought I owed". Jerod called me back a few moments later and was super apologetic, and a great representative of what customer service is all about. So in the end NO I would not recommend Cart Mart to anyone but I would definitely recommend Jerod to anyone looking to add a great salesman to their team. read more

After a year and a half - the batteries failed!!!! Cart Mart did ABSOLUTELY nothing to assist us other than charge us hundreds and hundreds of dollars to tell us we needed new batteries. No Kidding!! One blew up. We called just to see if they were under warranty. They told us they wouldn't warranty them even though they were new. They claimed we had batteries that we clearly didn't have. Then after charging all that money for nothing - they were "willing" to sell us exactly what we had for about $4,000 MORE dollars - and laughed and said they may last another year or ten - they don't know. Our father-in-law was in the market for a golf cart and we began the research process. We started by looking at ads online, (don't waste your time everything is a scam). We decided to go into some of the retail stores and started with a small place that had one type of vehicle and the salesman insisted it was the right one for us. He was very pushy and all in all it was an awkward, uncomfortable experience. The next place we went to was a dark, dirty cave of a place and literally nobody spoke to us. We couldn't leave fast enough. Finally we went to Cart Mart. The first thing we noticed, they actually have parking!! We walked in to an amazingly beautiful showroom and received the friendliest greeting - a courtesy that is far too uncommon. The store is clean and bright and smelled nice, there was pleasant music playing, we were offered something to drink - just a very warm, inviting atmosphere. We felt very comfortable as soon as we walked in the door. We had a long conversation with the manager named Jared who instead of trying to sell us what he had, asked us questions about our needs and actually listened before offering any information about his products. We had a lengthy conversation and left knowing everything we will ever need to know about golf carts. We were very impressed with company and recommend strongly. We thought our golf cart was in need of new batteries and tires so we drove it over to Cart Mart in Laguna Woods. Jared, Brooke, and Scott assessed our issues and talked us out of replacing anything! Our golf cart was dormant for a long while with a power drain and our regular charger was not able to charger the batteries. I was hearing an unusual squeak coming from the front wheels and called Cart Mart. A technician was at my residence not more than 24 hours later to fix the problem on the spot. The problem was out of alignment weeks which were adjusted within half an hour. Easy peasy. Because it was the first service call there was no charge. Subsequent calls would be only 30 bucks.
