My cart experienced a scraping/rubbing noise from the left rear wheel area that went from intermittent to constant after a week or two. The noise level kept increasing so it was obvious that something was wrong; I suspected the culprit to be the axel bearing. I requested service and Apex picked up the cart in the morning and returned by the evening with two new axle bearings at 2 hours of labor charge; that's very reasonable and there was no other alleged issue...as I already figured. But best of all and why I give Apex 5 Stars, Kyle - the owner - learned that his shop repaired my cart without first calling me and receiving my consent. They did the repair as soon as they diagnosed the problem. Kyle admitted to me that I legitimately did not have to pay for the repairs because The shop never received my consent! When he told me that, I was obviously surprised and appreciative of his honesty. Kyle is an owner with integrity, so I paid for the repair anyway. After all, his shop did the work and it's the fair thing to do. A shop with integrity and trustworthy should be rated 5 Stars!!! read more

Would give fewer stars if I could. Dishonest and deceptive business. They posted a very clearly written ad for a cart and wrote it in a way that stated it included a $500 folding rear seat. When we arrived to purchase all of a sudden the rear seat was additional. The salesman was beyond rude and they did not want to budge on anything at all. Not budging on price I understand. Carts are popular during Covid. Being incredibly rude to customers and lying on your ads? Not good. On top of this I can find numerous offers for their "$500 folding seat" all over the web for $269 - $289. So even if the ad for a 23 year old golf cart was accidentally written poorly by their staff, at the REAL cost of the seat, they weren't losing money on the sale of a 23 year old cart. I've written way too many online ads over the past 20+ years of selling high end sports equipment online to buy that this was a mistake. Based on their location it seems perhaps the Company goal is to take advantage of elderly and retired citizens living in nearby Laguna Woods. Avoid these guys at all costs. There are many good and friendly dealers in the area who know exactly how to treat a customer. I have since found multiple ads from reputable dealers for far newer carts, in better shape for similar pricing. read more

After searching quite a bit on Yelp for Golf Cart repair shops in Orange County we decided to go with Apex Golf Carts for the refurbishment of our old golf cart. The process itself of getting the colors and options on our club car ds golf cart was very easy and Kyle was very patient and took his time explaining the available options for our golf cart. It took about 3 weeks to get ge golf cart back but it was well worth the time as it came out looking like new and exactly the way we wanted our golf cart to drive. I would highly recommend them and have had the golf cart for about one month now without any issues so far but they did give us a 1 year warranty on all parts installed on our refurbished golf cart. read more

Last year for our annual company Christmas party we rented two 6 passenger golf carts. Our plan was to drive through our neighborhood "Nellie Gail" looking at the Christmas lights. Both carts showed full charge when we loaded up. After only one mile one of the carts ran out of charge, it was 45 degrees last year near Christmas and we had to park the cart and have employees take Uber's back to our house. We had to tow the second cart back to our house later that night. They offered us one free cart for next year. This year we took them up on their offer and had two 6 passenger carts delivered and I ask them to make sure they were in excellent condition based on what happened last year. Both carts showed full charge, when we turned them on one of the carts headlights were not working, I decided I'd drive that cart behind the other cart with working lights. 1/4 to the top of the hill my cart showed low charge and we had to return. What a bummer. They offered me again one free cart but at this point I feel they should have comped my paid cart. Very disappointed with Apex, lots of disappointed employees at my party... read more
