Disappointing Experience with Peoria Team, Madison Team Was Great…read more I recently moved from Peoria, IL to Madison, WI on Monday, 2/2/26 using Two Men and a Truck, and unfortunately the experience was very mixed. The Peoria team was a major letdown. They arrived late and did not provide the level of service that was agreed upon. Several pieces of furniture -- some over 40 years old -- were supposed to be properly wrapped and protected, and that simply did not happen. As a result, multiple items were damaged. When the Madison movers unloaded the truck, they immediately noted that the truck had not been loaded correctly, which they confirmed likely caused the damage. In contrast to Peoria, the Madison crew was professional, careful, and communicative. One especially concerning issue: an open knife was left on top of a couch inside the truck. Had the Madison movers not noticed it in time, someone could have been seriously injured. This shows a serious lack of care and safety awareness by the Peoria team. I've been trying to resolve these issues with the Peoria home office, but responses have been slow and unhelpful so far, which has only added to the frustration. Based on this experience, I would strongly recommend using another service, or at the very least avoiding the Peoria location. The Madison team did their best to fix a bad situation, but the damage was already done.

They say they can't and I should talk to the office about rescheduling Nobody calls me for seven hours so I called them and they tell me that due to my use of language that they will not be completing the move because they cannot put their workers into an aggressive atmosphere. I asked if anyone was planning to call me and tell me and they said the driver should have said that before he left. Well, he didn't and now I'm warning all people that using two men in a truck is doing so at your own. don't use them.

I had checked other movers. 2 Men were about 1/2 of their bids! They were professional, fun, friendly, efficient and willing to help in any possible way! They haven't changed a bit from when they did it 8 years ago! My 2016 guys were here! To keep employees loyal for that long says a lot about the firm! I've used many services before. This by far was the worst. Well not all aspects. The guys who…read morepacked our house - great. I mean they used our sheets and stuff to pack items, but whatever. The biggest issue I had was the guys who loaded our truck. They came over an hour late and then instead of wrapping our furniture, they just started tossing the stuff on to the truck unwrapped. The driver even had to tell them they needed to wrap it or he wasn't going to be able to leave. Then within 15 mins - they broke our credenza. We called the office right then and there and they tried to get the crew aligned a touch better. However there was no improvement. We got to our new home and all three TVs were busted dressed were scratched up couch ripped. Their response was - well we will look into it. I mean when the guys unloaded our stuff they took pictures so they wouldn't be blamed. So I guess the service was "fine" we just got a horrid crew in Atlanta to load our truck which is sad because they were the most important part.

I had a very frustrating experience with this truck rental company. The van I reserved was not…read moreavailable at the scheduled pickup time, leaving me standing outside in the dark and cold for about 45 minutes while trying to sort things out with customer service. Eventually, they gave me an upgraded truck at no additional rental charge, which I appreciated, but I didn't need a vehicle that large. The bigger truck ended up costing me more in fuel and was less convenient overall. When I returned the vehicle and asked what happened, the employee at drop-off had no idea about the situation. After I explained everything, the only response I got was that the night crew had "dropped the ball." No apology beyond that, and no offer of compensation or discount for the inconvenience, wasted time, or extra expenses I incurred. Mistakes happen, but the lack of communication and customer service afterward was disappointing.
