You couldn't ask for a better place to buy a used appliance. We had to switch from an electric dryer to gas so we took a chance on buying a used dryer. It was very reasonable at only $190. We have had it for two years now with no problems, until recently when the heat wasn't working. My husband called the business and the man offered to fix it at just the cost of the part if we could get the dryer there. We could have had someone come out, but then there would have been a service charge. So my husband got it out to him and he fixed it for $20!!! He was so nice and honest. Sold items that were in Used but new condition but didn't function properly and needed repair & 1 item causing damage to other appliances in my home In 2/2016 I purchased washer/dryer stackable, gas stove and refrigerator. 1st refrigerator stopped cooling & ruined approx. $300 in food I contacted them and and no response I had to go to the store & once there they seemed were unconcerned they had left my family without food for over a week. The answer was to pay $275 dollars more for another refrigerator. I made them aware that on this refrigerator the ice machine didn't work. They said I would have to pay for an ice machine. When I asked them why since it hasn't worked since I bought it the owner told me they are in business to make money not lose money. This issue was brought to their attention in 4/16 as of today 10/11/2016 still no working ice machine. I contacted them many times and get promises of a return call. 2nd The stove/oven I bought which was told to me at time of purchase that stove/oven had been tested and everything works great. I put oven in self clean on a Saturday and it overheated causing knob to melt i called DJ used appliance because they were open and I was told nothing we can do about it it's Saturday..I had to call cilco to shut gas off before a fire took place in my home.they came out 2 weeks after this to look at stove/oven and said we will get u a knob. I called them 1st thing Monday morning I wanted them to come out to see the damage and I let them know at this time the excessive heat from their appliance had burnt up my above the stove/oven microwave.. And I had to way to again prepare food for my family ..It took 2 weeks for them to come look at the damage and another 2 weeks & me calling 4 times to get them to come with a knob. I again spike with them about replacing my microwave they said not going to happen I asked about ice maker again they said it was ordered and I needed to be patient.. It's now October I have made many calls to them and no return calls or repairs. As of October I filed a credit complaint with the BBB and they still didn't respond to try and fix the problem read more
