When I test drove my new car, I noticed it shifting hard. When I got back to the dealership, I…read morementioned it to, Dennis. He said it was normal for the newer cars to shift like that. Fast forward to October, on my third day at my new job, my transmission goes out. I called Midwest, told them of the issue, the guy I talked to was willing to help me get it fixed with half the price my regular shop would charge me. Great! I'm happy with that. My car broke down on Monday morning, I phoned Midwest on Tues. At that time, they said they'd start working on trying to find me a new transmission. I gave them the car's VIN so they could look it up. Wed.. I call them that morning to see what's been found out, I start getting the run around. They said they have a truck that can go get my car, asked for the address where it is. I had the one guy's number there that sold me the car, Joe. I had text Joe to see if they'd gotten my car picked up, no reply. So I called my shop to see if the car is still in their parking lot,, yup, car is still there. So I call Midwest and left a stern message asking why they hadn't picked up my car yet. They call back saying, "We said we COULD help, not that we WOULD". Thurs.. I call them that morning. Got the run around some more. Joe tells me they could have things figured out by noon. Noon comes and goes, no communication from them. I call, Joe tells me that they need a code to figure out what transmission to get, he said he called my regular mechanic and he was being an "idiot and complete dumb ass". I called my mechanic to get the code, my guy tells me,, there is no code, all they need is the last 8 digits of my VIN (which I gave them on Tues.). I call Midwest back to tell Joe that. Joe then tells me, that in order to figure out for sure which transmission to use, they'd have to call a dealer and the dealer will probably charge them $50. to get that info. Joe, in this fake sweet voice, tells me, if I were to call the dealer, since I'm a female, that they probably wouldn't charge me. He tells me to, "use my female charms" to get it for free. I told him, that with the $1200. I'm about to fork over for the transmission you guys can surely afford the $50. to find out what part is needed." Told him to call me when he got things figured out, thanked him and hung up. Somewhere in that conversation, Joe also told me that the owners were kinda "pissed" about the review I had given them when I bought the car. (The rocker panels are all rusted out, they didn't bother to tell me that, so I did give them a 1 star review on their FB page. When they said they'd help me, I deleted it to give them a chance to fix things.) Thurs after my talk with Joe, I put up on FB my frustrations at being told to use my "female charms". My friend goes on their page and leaves a review, not 5 minutes later, I get a call from Joe, saying because of my friend's review, they've decided not to help me. I told him they weren't really helping me anyway. I posted a new review. I also lost the new job.

Bad equipment, bad service, nothing he sold me works as he said and he doesn't even seem to know…read morethe technology available. Avoid at all costs. I bought a nice old used car and wanted to upgrade the stereo. I brought it here because he was in my neighborhood. First, and this was early 2025, he didn't know that wireless bluetooth android auto was a possible thing. Then his inventory was primarily older technology that was very overpriced, although I did not know this at the time. Believing Kenwood was a good brand, I agreed to buy a Kenwood stereo and backup camera that he would install. This would run me $800. When I got the car back the steering wheel buttons that controlled the stereo did not work. When I went back to him he said "oh, you didn't say you wanted that. That's extra." How in hell would he think I didn't want that? He charged me another $100. Then I started using the stereo he sold me. It didn't work. if it received a call it got hung up and couldn't do anything else after the call ended unless you turned the car off and on. I brought it back to him several times and he couldn't fix the problem. He called Kenwood - they said he had an older model and it needed an update, that I needed to bring it back which would take a few hours. It didn't fix the problem. Googling the kenwood system he sold me I found that this problem is absolutely epidemic amongst this unit. Something he either didn't know or else he was just trying to get rid of inventory he knew sucked. Then I tried the wired android auto, which isn't easy to do because he put the USB outlet in the glove box (!). It doesn't work either. And yes, my android auto, wired or wireless, works great on every other car. He has sold me a completely useless stereo system, I am out $1000, he refuses to do anything more for it. Do not go to this guy under any circumstances.

We were looking at a vehicle and the guy we contacted was quick to respond and meet but when we…read moretook the vehicle to our local mechanic there were so many problems with the vehicle that it was a shock that 1) someone was selling it and 2) it was a clean title and not a rebuilt title. Problems: Cv axel leak, powersteeling leak, radiator support missing, brand new motor mounts, not enough space around the tires meaning total engine shift, strut leak, missing bottom shield, cross threaded nuts We let the guy know all of the problems we had found and left the lot as soon as possible. I wouldn't buy a car here until my mechanic checked it out. But we aren't buying a car from here after what we just experienced.

The salesperson told me more than once that anything wrong had been fixed. We took the car to a mechanic to have a few small things I noticed fixed and found out it needs a new clutch, front brakes and fuel pump, at least. I'm still waiting to hear what all else is wrong with it. The person checking the car out is someone I completely trust so these are things that are wrong and not just a mechanic trying to make money. I learned my lesson to not buy a used car without having someone I trust check it for me. I don't know anything about cars and trusted them not to outright lie to me. Stay as far away from this place as you can.
