This Body shop took my insurance money from aaa and never fixed my car to factory specs. They charged almost 7,000 and were suppose ton fix the broken frame and were suppose to put new parts, but instead let me drive my car in a very unsafe condition. They left my 2017 forester in worse condition than it arrived in. My car currently is undergoing all new repairs to fix all for 7,200. Honestly? They do not keep their word. They've had my man's vehicle for on 3 weeks now. Where I understand parts being hard to get ahold of in a certain time frame, keeping your word as a business man is also needed. The owner told him on several different occasions that his car would be done by this date and so on. Now 3 weeks later he told my man to call someone else to fix it bc "he can't". You could have saved us all some time and said that week 1. Instead we got a bunch of half ass answers, no solutions and my man could have been had it fixed himself if we'd known it'd be sitting for 3 weeks. Keep your word. That simple. read more

I dropped my car off for an estimate for a cracked oil pan a few months ago. Kinda odd they needed to keep it over night for an estimate but whatever I did and got it back with an estimate along with my new speakers stolen out of the trunk and some tools missing. However there was no broken window of signs of damage to the outside. Just curious how they got in the car without the keys...I'll let you do the math. I went here to get a bid for a minor accident I was in. The first time, internet was out so they told me to come back, second time, the person wasn't in and to come back in the morning. I came back in the morning to someone telling me he didn't have time to write me a bid and to leave. Highly unprofessional and disrespectful despite my calm nature. I used Nader and Sons when I lived in South St. Louis years ago and they are the best! I recently moved back and today; I had a little issue getting my car into gear and called them. They told me how to get around it, but I am incompetent. So, I called back, and they told me to drive right over and not only showed me the trick but then tested and replaced the bad fuse that caused the problem in the first place. Then, they wouldn't even charge me! Wouldn't! Refused payment. This is some old school auto mechanic shop stuff. Go nowhere else! I had some roof damage on my car, so I called Nader on June 29 and asked if I could come in for an estimate. We agreed on noon that same day. The guy I talked to there took some pics and said his body specialist came in at 3, so he'd call me after that time. (Why didn't he have me come in after 3 in the first place?) Two days later, he still hadn't called. I called them and they said, "oh yeah, I remember you, let me find those pictures and call you back." They did immediately call back to say they couldn't tell anything from the pics and would I be able to come in again? I did, and was again promised a call. That was July 1, and guess what? They still haven't bothered to contact me. read more

I brought my bike here and they redid the trim well so I brought my 87 Transam, my 57 thunderbird, and an 89 Corolla and they fixed those as well - redid trim, undid tires, replaced headlights, and redid the pipes on the bottom under the car. Great jobs all of them. read more

Nader & Sons was a lifesaver. The alternator on my truck went out and I needed it fixed ASAP! I checked reviews and saw Nader & Sons had a good reputation. I called, they told me to bring it as soon as I could. Took lunch, went home and jump started the truck, took it to them, and they verified it was the alternator on the spot. Less than 24 hours later they had it done for me, and under the estimated price. They were also less expensive than some of the other estimates I got over the phone. They are super friendly, down to earth, less expensive than other places, very fast (Even though they are always busy), honest and reliable. They have great work ethic. Need a fix Nader can get you taken care of in a flash. I've gone to Nader over the years for many issues such as flat tires, brake repairs, windshield wiper replacements and bodywork. My mother has and currently uses their services for many of her car issues such as engines, starters, bodywork, brakes, transmissions, tires, etc. She actually refuses to take her vehicle to any other mechanic. Me however; I at least migrate lol Nader is a great family owned business run by professionals who I trust. They are all always extremely nice, very welcoming and honest with me; if they can't do something they don't mind telling me. I appreciate this in a business. read more

I recently called Nader & Sons to get a quote on replacing a tire on my car. I was recommended to them by another auto shop in my neighborhood, and when I saw that folks seem to have great experiences on Yelp, I was in! I was hoping they might have a gently used one, but they didn't so I preceded to share the model and size of the tire with the man on the other end of the line. There was a subtle feeling that my call was inconvenient, but I assumed the best... I'm sure they're busy wanting to get everyone taken care of before they take off for the holidays. After he collected the information about my tire, he told me he'd look into it and give me a call back. Great. We got off the phone, and I immediately I realized I hadn't clarified that I didn't want them to order it, it was just interested in a quote. Assuming that would be information this establishment would also want me to clarify, I picked up the phone and called back. I guess this person saw my same number on caller ID and decided to pick up the phone without even saying hello and start abrasively and repeatedly saying, "What did he just tell you?! What did he *just* tell you!? He said, he will call you back!" To be sure, it wasn't the original person I'd been talking to, but I don't know if that makes the situation better or worse. I'm confident, that this was an exception in their customer service because I trust the folks who recommended Nader & Sons, but damn! I took the recommendations of a few individuals on Neighborhood and showed up at 9am to see what they could do for me. You see, I "popped" my hood to add some oil and upon finishing up, I couldn't get my hood to lock as the mechanism either snapped or was locked. After about 15 min of introductions and a complementary cup of coffee, the owner walked me out to my car, we opened the hood, he checked the internal release, took out a screwdriver and WALLA, problem fixed. WHAT??!!! It appears that sometimes this mechanism just gets locked/frozen and just needs a little "coaxing" to work again. He shook my hand, told me "No Charge" and sent me on my way. I'm FOREVER his new customer. Not because he didn't charge me anything, but, because he took the time to get to know me, a client. read more

Excellent auto repair service which is a family run business. Stopped in to have a tire fixed. Once the car was in the lift I could see that the rear tires had horrible wear & needed to be replaced. All these excellent reviews are accurate (thanks Christy A). I came by this shop after reading these Yelp reviews as Ryan T needed his car looked at. He was having issues with what he thought was his radiator. Other shops told him he needed a new fan or a new radiator. We came down to Nader's and they came out to the car and patiently examined it. It didn't take them long to rule out the radiator and the fan as a problem. In reality, it was a much simpler problem of a lack of antifreeze. The man who helped us (I forget his name but I think he runs the shop with his brother) was amazing. After he fixed that issue for no charge, we had him do an oil change while we ran to Blues City Deli for lunch (of course we bought him lunch for being so helpful). When we returned from lunch he was all done with the oil change. While the car was still on the lift, he pointed out a couple issues that needed to be fixed but didn't pressure us to fix them immediately. He said it would cost about $80 total. These people are very reasonable and honest. It's hard to find a good mechanic if one doesn't know much about cars. I'm glad I found these guys. read more

I've tried to go to this place to get my freon refilled for 3 weeks now and i have been consistently deflected away from their service. Last time i went in, I called in advance to see when they could examine my car. I arrived at the agreed time, where I waited for approximately 20 minutes to begin a conversation about service. Mind you, I had greeted a few workers upon my arrival. I politely asked about when they might be able to take a look at my car. The employee told me "don't ask that question, it pisses me off." I understand that it's hard to predict, but you can't tell your customers to buzz off like that. He then had the audacity to tell me to leave the keys and to return next week, following up with "I'm just f**king with you." Meh. read more

Service was fine and reasonably priced. The workers are a bunch of creeps. When showing me what needed to be done with my muffler, one was make rude gestures with his hands, because there was a disconnected pipe that needed to be put back in place. I was also told that they could fix my muffler today, "if the girl will just give me a smile. She hasn't smiled since she's been here". Don't go here. read more

The part that holds my gas tank up rusted off and I needed to take it in on a Saturday morning; they were the only ones open and now I have been back at least 3 other times! They have always been super friendly and efficient! I went back four months later for something else, and when I walked in they immediately greeted me and remembered me from before! They have great customer service, always very friendly and will always look for the cheapest car part for me! I don't think they try to rip me off or tell me what else is wrong with my car and make it sound like I need to fix it right away like other auto shops.
